The sahuagin hisses in the darkness and steps back, then you hear rhythmic burbling in the dark.

Rolling her eyes at the darkness, Yuki puts away her bow and draws a cutlass. She then casts Divine Favor on herself and steps five feet forward.

Not content to let the crab unleash its full might, he goes back to his memories on the ship, as he beckons a horde of rats forward.

Not sure how the casting of that works, but Galean's summoning 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Dire Rats behind where he hears the fighting to be, so K or J4

Roll perception for me Galean.

I see we're bucking for more Robo-Galean.

No worries.

Yes, you are able to accurately locate the fighting in the complete darkness and summon the rats to K4.

The priestess gurgles at the clacking claws and the rats and releases a wave of negative energy across all of you.

Negative Channeling: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9

DC 12 Fort Save for 5 damage.

(Fort, Dire Rat 2): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
(Fort, Giant Crab): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

The dire rats perish as soon as they're summoned while the crab merely staggers.

Yuki uses her free hand to move along the walls towards where she remembers the door used to be.

"Yay! We did it!" The captain cheers with a little dance, but quickly returns to business, "Uh, yeah, we're going to have to figure out how to stop from being blinded like that again. Good thing we have the crabs on our side....now."

She laughs and walks over to the inert sahuagin and begins to search its body, "Maybe there's a clue here on why he attacked the tower. I'll definitely have to talk to my wife about it."

Galean scratches his head, as the giant crab disappears into an undoubtedly hellish dimension. "Uh, Cap'n, when I, uh, talk to the sea next morning, I can prepare a spell to help us against darkness in the future." He smiles chipperly, sighing a breath of relief in the crab-less room.

He holsters his cutlass, then crosses his hands. "I might need a better weapon that that for the future... This one isn't all that great.", he mentions.

Just realised that Galean will be better off with a paddle. Or a fishing rod, because now he has enough spots for Shillelagh. Yes, I did have to check twice how to spell that.

1st Floor Map, 2nd Floor Map

Sorry guys, new job started today and it's a bear. Hopefully I'll get faster at it and be home sooner. Yay quotas!

The sahuagin is carrying quite a few things on it that it never got to use - a golden unholy symbol of Lamashtu, several coins of a curiously purplish platinum (totalling 317 gp), a heavy crossbow, trident, leather armor and dagger.

In another pouch you find a potion and a wand.

Finally you find a necklace of the same purplish platinum shining on its neck, the large disks engraved with scenes of underwater life.

You cast shillelagh and you'd better expect Irish puns.

F Human (Tian-Min) Oracle of the Waves 6/Fighter 1 - HP 34/46 - AC 22/T: 16 /FF: 17 – Resist Cold 10 - Perception +1 - Fort: +6, Ref: +8, Will: +6 - CMB: +6, CMD: 21 - Speed: 30' - Init. +5

Yuki gathers the sharkman's stuff together and casts Detect Magic over it. "Anyone seen Ayre around? He'd be much better at this than I am."

Spellcraft Potion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Spellcraft Wand: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

When she is unable to determine what the potion does with Spellcraft, Yuki tries to figure it out with taste instead.

Perception to determine potion's properties: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

Can we use Ayre to Spellcraft magical items if we take them back to the ship? If not, is there an NPC crew member who can do it?

1st Floor Map, 2nd Floor Map

Sure, I'm OK with that.

The armor shines with the aura of enchantment magic, as of course do the wand and the potion.

The necklace, although unusual, isn't enchanted although it would be a prime candidate for enchantment.

Agasta is grateful for your help, patting Yuki on the hand and Galean on the head.

The sahuagin only answer to themselves, but I've heard rumors of a pirate who trades with them - Isabella Locke. She's always turning up to sell goods other pirates recognize as belonging to other pirates who've disappeared.

Agasta spits on the stone floor, away from the wounded.

She claims to dive wrecks but no one believes her. But damned if I know where to find her, she keeps some sort of hidden anchorage but we see the Thresher every so often.

"Uh.", he says, scratching his head. "I think there's a magical spell that can let one track a ship from a sliver of wood from that ship.", he explains. "I'm afraid the sea is too primal to let me control of such a spell, but it could come in handy."

What are our choices when it comes to nearby ports? Which is closest? Which is friendliest?

1st Floor Map, 2nd Floor Map

The closest Port is Little Oppara on Taldas Isle - it's a friendly island ruled by two pirate lords, Iolandra and Petrina Maxeme, descendants of a Taldan noble and his Free Captain wife.

Little Oppara is well known amongst pirates as an opulent town where fine taverns serve delicacies from across Golarion, and richly attired men and women frequent plays, operas, and other sophisticated entertainment at the famed Blooming Rose Theater. One could easily forget this is a pirate haven and instead mistake it for a small city in the very heart of the Taldan Empire.

Galean struts onboard the Calamitous Intent with a scallywag swagger.

"Hoist the mainsail!", he barks, his voice magically carried and intensified by the wind. "Put your backs into it! We're sailing towards revenge!", he roars vigorously, then as the reaction is smaller than what he expected, he adds. "And plunder!"

Under jolly screams and roars, he takes the rudder in his hands, and starts plotting the course.

Actually if you have a character name that is 50% vowels or more on the Paizo board you tip your rolls towards 1. True story.

Make a perception roll for me for a night watch as you approach Little Oppara.

Perception DC 20:

It's a moonless night on the ocean and you're alone on the waters. Sometime after midnight however you hear the faint sound of ship's bells in the distance from the aft of the ship. No matter how you peer into the night you don't see any other ship's sails or lights on the star speckled ocean and sky.

Little Oppara's dockside is bustling, even for a relatively small town there are several other ships in port and you can see stevedores moving goods back and forth. Fishguts smiles and rubs his hands at the chance of fresh produce - and a new pig. He's also looking for another chicken to add to his flock of friends.

Owlbear dances at the sight of the gaily dressed men and women walking on the waterfront between well appointed shops and taverns, and Nymph feels a gentle hip bump and sees a smile from her paramour at the concept of a plush inn bed.

Ayre, having determined the items you've taken from the sahuagin priestess are a potion of lesser restoration, a wand of cure moderate wounds (with 11 charges), and a +1 studded leather armor.

You pull in to a bump at the night and your crew looks to you for orders.

On the trip to Little Oppara, Yuki thanks Ayre for identifying the objects and takes the healing wand. As for the armor, she speaks to both Galean and Nymph first, "I could really use this too, but if either of you can make more use of it for now, you can have it."

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

"Let's go hit the bars and see if this Locke woman has been through here lately." She says to her officers once the ship is safely docked at the port. Then to the crew, "We might be here for a few days, but stay close to the ship, we might have to leave quickly."
