I'm still trying to figure out how Appario enters the room. As you already know, I don't believe in Lawful Stupid, but and feeling conflicted on how he will dance through this. A post tonight, for sure...probably after beer. Lots of beer.

I'll just cheerily and randomly point out that people are allowed to willingly forego their Will saves against the mirror effects, if they wish :)

As we all know, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.. So, once the night of rest has finished, you'll all be 12th level :)

We don't have a way to do that in a timely manner.

Anything local? Do we have the location of another Council safehouse?

Hmmm…yeah, it would be best if we could do something dramatic before "midnight." I don't know of other loose ends, and it doesn't seem that any of the surviving creatures in this area are tied to the Council.

Did we leave any survivors for questioning from that first fight (the one with the imp, elven spellcaster, and some other humanoid goons)?

Arguably, Liebdaga could just stomp around town for a bit and see if any Council members or Drovenges show up.

As awesome and hilarious that last option would be, it would probably cause more harm than anything. Finding another Council safehouse or installation and wrecking it would be good.

There were survivors from that fight, but they were let go after being interrogated.. and since nobody responded to Amaya's call from above after they left, I don't think it would be reasonable to assume they'd still be available for questioning :)

I wouldn't want to try to push you in any particular direction, but I will say that standing about down in the dungeon isn't likely to produce any answers or dramatic moments :)

The Beast isn't one to contribute meaningfully in planning for this situation.

I really have no ideas what to do with our pet fiend. Marching out into the street with him seems like a bad idea... Unless it was to make his defeat more public...

I could entirely go for a dramatic slaying of Liebdaga by Derek. I can see how tromping around as Liebdaga is probably more trouble than it's worth.

MORE: And Appario. Tell you what, I'll post a related point in-character, and I'll let Appario have dibs if he calls it. I'm not 100% sure what the ramifications are of Liebdaga trying to leave this subterranean vault, and it may just be safest to do as Appario recommended earlier: kill the fiend here and now.

One question however, we're in Cheliax, where devils are more or less revered, will striking a pit fiend down in public be a good thing or make us seem like enemies of the state?
