Getting your own Pathfinder Scenario published certainly counts as a good distraction! Congratulations :)
I must admit I was waiting, just to make sure everyone knew we were back in business before things started moving too quickly ;)
By the way, I notice that noone has replied to Appario's question (from just before the computer-malfunction-induced break), related to if anyone has any input for him in regards to their names being made public before his second meeting with the Hellknight.

Totally. Appario is going to assume that people are happy with their identities being kept quiet...as we've been doing with all Gardener activity.
Also, congrats Yahirma on the scenario. I'm sure it's going to be great.

Maddok |

Are, you're tempting me to take a second barbarian level just so I can get the rage power than lets me chase after a withdrawing opponent once per rage as a free action.

DM Are |

I'm tracking movement in terms of combat-rounds still, but if Yahirma doesn't intend to follow The Beast on its chase after the maid, then she could leave combat mode and speak normally.
Maddok: Does The Beast spend a move action to catch the direction of the maid's scent, or does he blindly move in one direction in hopes it's the right one?

Maddok |

Do we have an idea of which direction she headed or are we already at a loss? Do we have to spend a move action every turn to determine direction?
This is rapidly getting frustrating, probably because this encounter has been going on since last year. =P
Edit: I just saw you IC post.
He'll spend the move action to sniff a direction this turn.

DM Are |

Only if you want to make sure you don't lose the scent in case she changes direction. If her direction stays the same (and The Beast doesn't bound past her), this one move-action would be enough.
I edited the IC-post to include the move-action.
The frustration is certainly understandable. I'll try to get things moving at a brisker pace again :)

DM Are |

Just a quick note to stave off potential player-frustration (as opposed to PC-frustration!): Polymorph effects don't technically end upon death. While it's an established trope that they do, I'm just waiting for an opportune moment for it to happen :)

(by the way, withdraw-spam doesn't really apply here, since the maid only used the withdraw action once..)

(by the way, withdraw-spam doesn't really apply here, since the maid only used the withdraw action once..)
I agree. =P
It came up in another game recently too and it reminded me of that thread I started.

Xerath |

I don't think so.
He's been waiting on people.
What he said. I wanna know if I passed the rorschat test.

Yahirma |

I'm headed out to Washington state, which, as I understand it, puts me substantially closer to the two of you.
Must...resist the urge to keep the assassin's body and build a Juju-pelganger. Wait, what am I talking about? Clearly I must keep the assassin's body to make a Juju-pelganger.

DM Are |

Washington state? Does that mean your new employer happens to be Paizo? Or Wizards of the Coast? Congratulations on your new job, regardless :)
A juju-pelganger would be cool.. and don't forget Vassindio Drovenge's body, either! Yahirma might have a veritable army of oddities following her around, eventually.

Do we have an ETA for wrapping up the sidequest stuff? It's been a LONG time (for understandable reasons), but would like to eventually focus on getting back on track.
I would like to get back to "full group"-activities, too. But I also want to give the sidequests enough time to finish in a satisfactory manner.
Most of the ongoing and on-hold plotlines are close to being wrapped up; several could be finished with only a couple of posts. Many of the peripherally-relevant plotlines could be handled simultaneously with proceeding, as well. The most substantial ongoing plotline, certainly in terms of expected number of posts, is the undead-investigation.
I will note that once the part following the undead-army-investigation (timeline-wise) begins, there will be little in-game time for anything else prior to the conclusion of the written campaign.
Ideally, Xerath and Maddok will come to the conclusion that they'll need the full group to handle the undead threat following their initial investigative reconnaisance (unless they just maul through everything in their path!), and we'll progress from there. Hopefully most of the other plotlines will be finished by that time, as well.

Maddok |

I'm sure we can wrap up the business with the doppelganger in a couple more posts.
I think clearing out the graveyard would be a good way to bring the gang back together.

Xerath |

Well I like the idea of mauling through everything in our path. I mean we have Livia and the three Sisters of Elseth. But if you want us to get the gang back together we can do that.
What would be our chances if we just went with what we have now?

Appario Lind |

LOL@Yahirma: 'Steamed'.
You should explain yourself. And thanks for the kind words.

DM Are |

Yahirma: Since we're approaching two full pages of combat encounter posts since then, I figured it would be a good idea to provide a link to the last reply to your last post, so here you are :)

DM Are |

Hopefully some of the remaining unfinished plotlines will finish soon. Otherwise they'll likely be lost in the mix..
And yes, I know one of those is mine to finish! Speaking of which, Beor will suggest that he and Maddok begin their nonlethal sparring match in their respective forms. Would you be okay with that, Maddok?
One other thing: I seem to recall there were some desires to have things crafted by Yahirma (with Tarvi's aid if necessary), but those items weren't spelled out. It might be a good idea for those who want crafts to specify what they want ;)
