MotG, my cestus is wrapped on my hand like a gauntlet so can that be on? It pretty much stays on all the time as it doesnt interfere with anything I do.

Ah that is what I forgot... Gauntlets & Cestus maybe equiped as well.

GM:

Ah, you're right. I was under the impression that drawing and using scrolls and potions was the same action. In that case I'll Standard Ninja Invisibility, Move draw my Foresight Scroll, Standard cast the Foresight Scroll, Move draw the potion of Bestow Grace, then Quick Draw the rod.

Wait... Can you Quick Draw anything besides a Weapon? Such as Rods, Staves, & such?

Wands are explicitly prohibited. Staves, it's safe to assume, aren't possible either. Rods are a gray area, since there are weapon-rods in addition to the standard metamagic ones. There are also some containers like spring-loaded wrist sheathes which let you draw from them as a swift action, and a few specific items which say they can be drawn in special ways, but in general: No, it's weapons only.

Thought so... Ok any Rod that can be used as a Melee Weapon is usable with Quick Draw. BTW I don't think Rods can be used with a Wrist Sheath...

The rod I'm using isn't specifically useable as a melee weapon, so I'll draw it with my move action instead of the potion. On a side note I'd think Staves would be drawable with Quick Draw since there's the Magus class variant that focuses on using them as weapons.

IIRC: The Magus makes the Staves count as a Quarterstaff which would make it work with Quick Draw.

First Round:

GM:
Perception Check: 1d20 + 56 ⇒ (10) + 56 = 66 Rumples sees Varin. 1d20 + 59 ⇒ (10) + 59 = 69 for whenever it's relevant.

Rumples takes a tiny rod from his belt, and hustles away from the statue as fast as his short legs can carry him (which is remarkably fast, all things considered).

GM:
Move action: draw Rod of Absorption. Move action: move 40 ft. directly south from the statue.

Second Round:

Rumples pulls out an even smaller stick-like object, a wand, and disappears.

GM:
Move action: draw wand of dimension door. Standard action: Dimension Door 560 ft., still directly away from the statue, still north (the temple appears to be around between 100 and 110 ft. in radius). Rumples has now moved 600 ft. due south, which should put him outside of the temple. I'm not sure how this arena is fully set up, but I'm assuming with his high perception Rumples should have some idea of where he's headed. If it's a completely dumb idea to be going there, he won't.

@Rumples:

I had you planned as being on the south side but okay...

Light level is Normal in the Temple everything outside of it seems incredibly Dark.

Male

GM:
I picked a direction at random, I shall edit it to be going south! Consider that stealth roll to be applicable as soon as Rumples hits a stealthable area.

Ok everyones start location is up. If I can get everyone to tell me, in a spoiler, where they are now please do so.

P.S.: Sorry for the delay. I guess I missed Rumples last post...

P.S.S.: I hate building Stat Blocks for thing like the enemies in RotRL...

Male Human

Well, by the time both rounds are done, anyone who makes a DC 65-ish Perception check can locate Varin at:

Perception DC 65:
5.16, about 30 feet off the ground (or at ceiling height, if it's lower than that).

If his location at a particular time during these two rounds is important, let me know and I can specify where he was.

Anyone that can see into the Ethereal:
I'm not sure which hex I started in so I am guesstimating. Jezebel is 30 feet off the ground in hex 28.20. If you didn't have me there then just place me 10' away from my starting position away from the statue and 30 feet up.

Male Hafling

I haven't moved as everyone can see.

Cannot be detected by any means:
I've taken two 5 foot steps from my starting position in whatever direction takes me farther from everybody else

Unknown Unknown Unknown

GM Only:
I guess I'm in the statue in 23.22

Male Dwarf

My cauldron is quite clearly visible 30' off the ground directly above where I started (19.22, according to the initiative sheet). It gives me partial cover, so I am not clearly visible, but still visible.

Also, because I just did the calculations, if you have true sight it applies to your vision within 24 hexes in all directions. If you're near the center of an overworld hex (as we are now), that effectively means you can see the entire large hex. Going forward, please note in your spoilers tag whether divination spells (like true sight) help in locating you, or whether you're mind blanked.

Male Hafling

Realizing that he waited in vain, Bozro utters a sigh and blinks away....

GM:
I use Abundant step to move 1200feet to the west. Then use another move action to move another 90 feet in that direction before the end of my turn

I can't read the overworld map. I downloaded it but it gets all blury when I zoom in. Also how wide is one hex?

1 Overworld Hex I don't know off the top of my head. The Innerworld Hexes are 5 foot.

If you just open the file and zoom it should be visible.

Male

GM, Divination:
Rumples continues moving directly south until he can find an area of earth. He starts off by moving himself 560 ft. with dimension door. If he is then on a burrowable surface, he'll use his move action to go 10 ft. straight down. If he is not able to burrow, he'll use his move to go 40 ft. further, still searching for nice ground to hang out in.

Rumples:

The hex you are in is ruff stone. It is that way for nearly all the hexes you are easily able to access.

Male Dwarf

Intitative
------------

Bozro "Buzzsaw"
Rumples
Jezebel Quick <------- We are now here, I assume.
RippleInTheTide
Varin Akorr
Masked Participant
Garret Light Step
Kazgar

Oh sorry. I wasn't sure what was going on lol. Not sure where everyone is.

Jezebel continues watching and waiting

For those that can see the ethereal plane:
Jezebel moves an additional 15 feet up.

Cannot be detected by any means:
I tap my Boots of Teleportation together and say "There's no place like the center water hex in the lake at 5 o'clock on the overworld map!" (I can't read the numbers on that map)

Male Human

Assuming it's Varin's turn...

For people who can see through invisibility without using divination magic:
Varin quickly looses two more spells.

Let me know if someone is making spellcraft checks on them.

GM:
Quickened Shield and Spell Resistance are the spells.
.
Also, Stealth Check: 1d20 + 67 ⇒ (13) + 67 = 80

Also, locating Varin via perception if you can't see him is a DC 80. He's done now.

Unknown Unknown Unknown

GM:
I continue hiding and cast persistent flesh to stone against the dwarf in the cauldron. If he succeeds on both saves, I will also cast a quickened flesh to stone. If he fails the first or second save, I will target the next closest visible (to me) character.

Male Vanara

DC 75 Perception:

Stealth: 1d20 + 62 ⇒ (13) + 62 = 75

Garret Will draw an Oil of Silence from his bag (Swift Action with Prehensile Tail), and pour it over his weapon (Standard Action). He will then store his wand and continue to observe those that have yet to disappear.

Male Dwarf

I assume we can attack now, since we had our two rounds... Unfortunately, I have no targets.

Lacking any targets it's even possible for him to see, except for Jezebel whom he can't hit, Kazgar continues his slow rise into the air and waits to see what happens.

Now 60' up (double move).

Male Human

Yay, we made it through a round!
.
Also, can I get a check of who is noticeable to someone with See Invisibility and Arcane Sight? (So, not mind blanked people obviously, maybe not others). These few seconds have felt like weeks! I think Varin might be itching to just start killing if he can.

I PMed MotG to see if he'll be rejoining us or not. Also, I'm visible to every type of vision except tremorsense, and still in the starting area.

Only way to see me is with an opposing Perception check.

@Masked: Post the Save DCs and Target then.

Jezebel's turn right?

Oh, well I was waiting for Masked to post his DC's to see what if anything happened. I can go if that's what everyone wants.

Ok so I guess I will go and see if we can resuscitate this game?

Go ahead.

For those that can see into the ethereal plane:
Jezebel pulls out a scroll and casts from it. Can't fail umd check. Scroll of nine lives

Undetectable by any means:
I pull a scroll of Mind Blank and cast it

Is this arena on or not?

It is.

Male Human

For simplicity's sake, I'm just going to list what has him hidden so people don't have to guess if they can see him or not.

Invisible and Mind Blanked:
Varin pulls out a scroll and casts from it, then fires off another spell quickly. Let me know if anyone wants to make spellcraft checks.

GM:
Move action to pull out a scroll of Aroden's Spellbane and cast that with my mnemonic vestment, so the scroll isn't used up (I kinda forgot about this one, since it's one of the ones he would normally have up consistently). Blocking Dispel Magic, Greater Dispel Magic... um... Feeblemind? ... and... oh Mage's Disjunction, if that works (I'm not sure exactly, but I'll go for it, cuz I can't think of anything else. At the very least, I imagine it would need to succeed at the % chance to be destroyed by one.)

Then quickened Cloak of Winds.

Turn done. Same Perception and Location as before (unless I should roll another stealth?).

Unknown Unknown Unknown

GM's requested DCs:
DC 37, primary target: dwarf in cauldron (must save twice), secondary target: anyone else I can percieve (starting with the closest). Dwarf may need to save a third time depending on circumstances.

SR roll: 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (6) + 35 = 41

@Dwarf in the Cauldron: Save Twice on a Fort Save with a DC 37.

Male Dwarf

If the spell allows Spell Resistance, Masked Participant needs to make a caster level check, DC 27. Relatively easy, but still failable. Assuming he passes it:

Fort Save DC 37: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (13) + 25 = 38
Fort Save DC 37: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (15) + 25 = 40

If it's a spell or spell-like ability, +2. If the caster is flying, +1. Other situational bonuses might apply, but I suspect not.

You pass those 2.

Make a third Save. Same DC.

Male Dwarf

Sheesh. The perils of being visible. And of forgetting my second most important item.

Fort DC 37: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (6) + 25 = 31

Same potential bonuses and Spell Resistance as above.

You suddenly feel your body being turned into stone.

Under effects of Flesh to Stone.

Male Dwarf

Did he make his spell penetration check? That allows SR. A good caster could probably make it on a 5 at this level, but it's still a ~20% chance of my idiotic mistake not being fatal.

Yes, he has.
