Oh no! The thought rings out in Raina's mind. And while she is genuinely concerned, she can't help but laugh and the poor man's tragedy. All that brovado in the morning, and he can't catch a break.

She grabs onto the rope and steps down into the water a bit, holding out a hand to help Ceidith up.

After Ceidith is up, she casts Druidcraft to create a sensory effect of warmness to counteract the cold water.

Spiting into his palm, then rubbing his hands together, Yarroth grasps the door's handle and give a pull.

Ander winces and mouths an "oooh" as Ceidith tumbles, but upon seeing him recover, he turns his attention to the door and tries to get it unstuck.

Yarroth slips, unable to get leverage as he tries to get the door unstuck.

Ander places his hand next to the door, his other hand on the handle, and gives a good yank and the door comes free!

The hallway slopes upward as a gentle angle. You pass two rooms to your right as you move through the hall. Each room has a brass door that is stuck, like the one Ander pulled open. Each of the doors has a pair of holes about chest level, that looks like it may have had a sliding bolt to bolt the door from the outside.

If anyone makes a DC 15 Strength check:
The small cell seems empty, for the most part. A musty, mildewed straw pallet in in the corner, and a small hole in the corner.

If you are checking second room, same DC Strength check:
This cell is similarly empty.

Considering that you are not in a rush, I will hand-wave it. Not even sure why this is in here. :/

After Ander gets some help, you manage to find that the second cell is empty, just like the first.

Deciding to move on, the hall opens up into a large chamber, 60-foot in diameter with vaulted ceilings that reach 30 feet at its tallest point. The majority of the room is a couple of feet higher than the side you enter from, and accessed by a pair of steps.

At the far end, a large idol carved from a single piece of pale green stone stands in a pool of black water. It is carved in the shape of a tentacled humanoid with the head of a many-fanged fish, and it bathes the room in a sickly green light. It looks like it is standing upon the water.

Sounds of clattering bone, dripping water, and muted whispers pervade the area.

Wisdom (Perception) DC 15:
There is an oppressive energy that fills this room.

Intelligence (Arcana) 15, if you passed Perception:
The source of the oppressive energy seems to be the altar.

The ground is still covered with mud, including the stairs, but the raised area is relatively clear of the mud. Upon the raised area there are two pillars that are worn down, but you can easily imagine that they were once intricately carved.

The body of a human male is slumped over the altar at the edge of the pool. Something like a wand appears to be on the floor beneath the hand of the body.

This place feels oppressive. Raina says, as she enters. Then she gasps at the sight of the body and rushes over to it to see who it is.

Raina rushes to the body and finds it to be a young man, wearing the fine robes of a representative of House Sokol.

There are only a few seconds before the water begins to roil and churn as a number of skeletons emerge from the filthy water! A fresher corpse floating face down in the water, a few arrows protruding from its body, bobs with the roil.

The altar flashes and a wave of energy spreads through the chamber! The body floating in the water jerks and in response, the body on the altar starts to rise to its feet, unsteadily!

Ceidith pulls himself up with a sigh. Looking down at himself, he starts laughing. Nodding his thanks to Raina, he begins to follow everyone else.

As the skeletons emerge Ceidith rushes at them with his shortswords, swinging wildly.

Moving this forward and going to bot Largo.

Largo moves up and takes a knee, drawing a bead on the skeleton coming up on Yarroth!

The quarrel shatters its pelvic bone at the exact time that Yarroth stabs at the skeleton twice, hitting it square in the sternum! The skeleton 2 falls apart!

The zombie on the altar stands up and swipes at Raina, his eyes rolled up giving an eerie feeling. Slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 Raina easily ducks the clumsy attempt and takes a step back, a familiar spell forming on her lips!

Ander, I hope you don't mind, based on how things have developed by your turn, it might be easier to get to the zombie next to Raina than the skeleton right in front of her. Plus, you hit the zombie. ;)

Ander moves to Raina's left flank as Ceidith moves to her right! Ander's sword digs into the well-dressed zombie, causing it to stagger back against the altar! Ceidith's swords spear the skeleton in the its two eye sockets, causing it to shudder and fall to the floor in a clatter!

Raina calls down the thunder and a shockwave erupts from her and echoes through the room! Zom 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Zom 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 The two zombies are rocked, but still stand!

EDIT2: The thunder splits the altar, and that eerie energy begins to fade...

Kairon scampers up the stairs, almost slipping! He manages to keep his footing, but it throws his aim off and the eldritch bolt flies off, almost hitting the statue!

Largo and Yarroth you are up again!

I did say "nearest zombie", hoping they'd be easier to hit due to the classic "slow, shambling zombie" trope. So your "adjustment" is what I was intending from the beginning. :D

Largo reloads his crossbow and takes aim again! The quarrel sinks deep in its chest, but it only rocks it back for an instant before it starts forward again.

Yarroth slips around Ander to aid him in disposing the well-dressed zombie! He stabs once! 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 Twice! 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 And the zombie collapses back onto the broken altar!

The remaining zombie shambles out from the dark pool and strikes at Ceidith! Slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 The rogue laughs as he dances out of the way!

Ander repositions himself around Ceidith's flank and strikes into the zombie's side! It rocks back, barely hanging on to undeath!

Ceidith, Raina, and Kairon may go. Should be able to finish the zombie off this round, hopefully.

Yes, both hit. Zombies have an ability called Undead Fortitude, and I was rolling for that. I should have described that your attack should have dropped the zombie, but it didn't. Sorry, that was my failing. ;)

Raina slashes at the undead guard! Con save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 Raina shakes her head, frustrated as the zombie looks about to fall, but then moves back to attack again!

Kairon's eldritch blast hits it on the shoulder! Con save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 The hit causes it to spin a bit, but it continues coming!

Ceidith moves in to stab at it with his twin blades!

Their long tongues hanging out of their mouths seem to flick back and forth, before they come in and charge in your direction!

Kairon moves closer to the water and tries to shake off the performance of his past few seconds. "Keep that up And we won't make it to see tomorrow. Come on Kai! Step it up" He thinks to himself as he prepares another Eldritch Blast to release.

After the move Kairon will attack the closest enemy, be it skeleton zombie or ghoul.

@Ceidith, no worries. This medium isn't the ideal for gaming, but I am flexible.

Largo draws a bead on the zombie that won't die!

Con save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 Dammit! Die already! >.<

It thuds in the undead guard's chest, center-mass but it only stops for a moment before coming again!

Being the last one to hit it in melee, the zombie goes after Raina!

Slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 But she gracefully dances out of the way!

Ander heads to intercept the ghouls as the come in, but the zombie swipes at him as he goes... Opportunity Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 But it seems to break its wrist as the strike bounces ineffectually off his armor! I was going to do disadvantage, but it didn't hit on its first attack.

As the zombie seems to stare at its broken wrist, Ceidith stabs the zombie through the head, dropping it where it stands! Thankfully, critical hits defeat the Undead Fortitude feature!

The zombie is now dead, do you have a ranged option that you would like to use against the ghouls?

Kairon launches another blast, this time at a ghoul, but it ducks out of the way!
