+1
I know from experience that working a keyboard with a big cast is unpleasant at best and impossible at worst. Then comes recovery and so, which won't be much better sadly.
Might be best to let this lie and for you to focus on getting everything back on track. Rest assured, should you decide to pick this up again, I will be all over it : )

I am good either way. I like keeping my campaigns tab clean, but if Divintus thinks he will be able to get back on track, I am good waiting.
Either way, I will be around when we get this going again.

Ruul Spiritskin |
Yeah, there's no hard feelings. I'm just OCD when it comes to getting inactive games off my campaign list. =)
If Divinitus thinks he'll be back in the near future I can wait.

If it drives you nuts, go to the main Messageboard link at the top of the page. Once there, click on the "Focus" near the top right. Then, find the campaign you want to get rid of and click on the "⍉" on the far right. This will hide the campaign so that it will not show up any more. It will also make it disappear from the list at the bottom of your Campaign page when it actually goes inactive I believe.
If you ever want to reactivate the campaign, click the "Show ⍉" link, find the hidden campaign, and then click on the link to unhide it (pretty sure you can unhide them, I do not have any hidden right now).
You can use this technique to make any campaign disappear from your Campaign page.

Rodriguez Lapaz |

Well, I have made it back! As I stated in my now-taken over Lords of Taldor campaign, relearning how to use a keyboard effectively and stringing together written or typed words together is not exactly an easy task.
Divinitus has had to deal with some rather major changes to his personality. Frontal lobe damage can change personality and such. He will likely post soon, as he can better cope with things now.
As a slight notation, I will be changing my character, because I can no longer picture myself playing Rodriguez Lapaz, even if he is a bad@$$. Not sure why, I have just lost interest in the character. I will have something created probably today or tomorrow.
*EDIT: Apparently when I last edited Rodriguez, it wiped all of his text. :(

Ruul Spiritskin |
Whoa. I'm glad to hear you guys are recovering. What are you looking to bring in instead?
I'll send some PMs out.

Tatienne Talbot |

Glad to hear that things are progressing for you and Divinitus. Hopefully things will be clear for everyone that was in the wreck pretty soon, with no long-term effects.
I'll be around to start up when you guys are ready.

Orsal Hort |

Ruul PMed me, so I just heard about the car accident. I'm so sorry!
If you're willing to run, I'll help with your recovery if you need players.
cheers

Tatienne Talbot |

Tatienne's here to ply the Razor Sea. Glad you're back, Divinitus, and I'm excited to get this game started!

Nini |

Yey!
I'm still up for this game : )
However, I have exams until the 12th of June so my posts will be a bit slow until then. Additionally, I have a meaty (and of the 'don't f&++ this one up!' variety) exam on monday, so until then I won't have any spare mental resources to get Nini going. I hope you all are okay with this.

GM Bloodied Waters |

Of course I am okay with you being a bit slow for the next 2 weeks, Nini! It would be hypocritical in the extreme for me to NOT be okay with it.
So, Sanguinus_Draconis will be dropping as a PC, due to him having to help his girlfriend out since her mother aspirated in her trachea tune (The artificial ones. Know what I'm talking about?) and has had to be, after a week or so, disconnected from life support. If you are the religious sort, prayers for Anna will be appreciated. If not, goodwill will be appreciated.
I am probably going to invite this new guy Sir Awesomesauce to be in the campaign, as he has corresponded about the gestalt Wrath of the Righteous campaign that he is starting and he seems like he knows what he is doing. Not only that, but he had mentioned that he would probably add a character under Razor Coast to the Open Call thread that I made.
So as for roles, we have a tank, buffing, healing, pet, and utility roles covered. I will see if he is planning on making a blaster of some sort.
As soon as he confirms, the first gameplay post will be added. Which district do you imagine yourselves in at the start of the game?

Ruul Spiritskin |
Ruul is in the Bawd distract either whoring away his savings or mixing it up in the Broken's Skull's fight club.
This is still the case.
In the interest of getting some momentum going I think it'd be cool to get something up to get us started.

GM Bloodied Waters |

Hehe, I take it that the 'whoring away the savings' is quite literal in this case?
Ok, I will make the first post in a few. I will leave it where PCs can do an introductory roleplay for wherever they are, as that is how the campaign was intended to start, with PCs roleplaying in their chosen district.

Tatienne Talbot |

Also, apologies for the massive wall'o'text, I just like meaty posts for the start of the campaign! ;)
You may have noticed I do as well :)
Tell me, what do you think of the first post?
Excellent. Also, I love the word mellifluous.

![]() |

Sir Awesomesauce McSnazzlepants, if you see this. Delete your dot. It is unnecessary. Once you dot, the system keeps record of you. Then, you can delete the initial post and avoid clogging the IC thread with dots.

![]() |

It does not really make much difference, it just keeps the IC thread cleaner. Obviously if you look at some of the older posts, many people did the usual dot technique, usually because people do not know that you can post & delete, and still keep the thread on your Campaign tab.

All:
With the campaign having not quite started, and assuming that Sir Awesomesauce McSnazzlepants is going to fill the arcane slot. I am considering switching from Swashbuckler to the Rogue(unchained). Really, what this does is to add a few skills points, drops my BAB by one, and gives us Trapfinding, which I do not think anyone has. In the long run, I will probably take 1-2 more levels of rogue at some point, but will pretty much stick with the Oracle as my primary class.
Let me know what people think. I do not have to do it, but the rogue(unchained) effectively gives the same weapon finesse as the swashbuckler, and changes the flavor a bit which I think fits with the character.

Tatienne Talbot |

I agree, Meherio, that your fluff is more rogue-like than swashbuckler-like, and trapfinding would be welcome.
Also, welcome Sir Awesomesauce! What are you thinking of building?
I enjoyed everyone's opening posts, and look forward to gaming with you all.

Ruul Spiritskin |
I'm loving the intro posts guys.
You waiting for everyone to check in before you respond to them GM?

![]() |

Sounds like he had some serious injuries. Just avoid posting in the Gameplay thread. Eventually this thread will either go inactive, or he will return. If you really want to hide it, you can go to the main Messageboard, Click on "Focus", find this thread, and then click the "∅". This will hide the thread from you, and also hide it from appearing in your main Campaign thread. Pretty sure it still will show up under the "Campaigns" for your individual aliases.

Nini |

Hello!
I must say, after my exams this completely slipped my mind. I was supposed to get an introductory post up and all that!
But between the first reboot of this and now two of my other games have started again. And I did not acquire as much free time as I had anticipated after my exams (yey IRL me, nay online me).
So after some contemplation, I think the most fair thing for me to do for the moment is to bow out and withdraw Nini. Sadly. I was sorta looking forward to buying those seashells...
(Now, it doesn't look like it will matter much, but I felt weird just not doing anything. Also, should this game really be dead for now - but rise again at a later date I would love to take a look at my schedule and re-evaluate my choice : ) )
Best Wishes //Nini, Zivvy & Lessah
