"Since you all are afraid of putting Lamm to justice..." after saying this, Catcher will enter the place.
Also Jakt. Catcher look like a mercenary, using a fullbody Linen armor with a chain chest armor, and carrying a longsword she use with both hands. I don't thing from her apparence you can call her a dancer...

Jakthion Tauranor |

Whoops! Missed that. Catcher, Marada announced her perceptions of all the characters races/professions in character when we all first arrived at the Harrower's home. Jakthion made his statement based on hers.
"Well, if it looks safe to proceed, let's do." Jakthion draws his pistol and rapier then follows Catcher into the ramshackle building.

GM Parker |

You're standing inside of a loading dock, about fifteen feet wide and more than double that long, and the smell of fish is very, very strong. In front of you is a pair of double doors leading further in; probably to the same place as the front door. To your left, there is a set of stairs leading down, with a door at the bottom.

![]() |

Taking the lead, with her sword drawn and walking trying not to make any noise. Catcher will point to the stairs and the door at end. And then go in that direction.
I'll try to listen for sounds, taking a longer time to make sure nothing is on the other side.
1d100 ⇒ 1 Perception 66 (46+20)
If no sound can be heard, she will look pick up her lens and look if the door is trapped and locked.
1d100 ⇒ 90 perception 71(46+25)

GM Parker |

1d100 ⇒ 72
Luckily, if you fail your stealth but they fail their perception, nothing really changes. Also, if you want to actually sneak in and take whoever may be in here by surprise once the door is actually open, I'm going to need a stealth roll from the person with the lowest stealth. If they pass, you all pass. If not, you all fail.

![]() |

Dammit, it's a miracle they did not heard us.
Looking at her companions, she is trying to decide what to do.
I don't know what they are capable of. It may be suicide to jump in but if we can get an edge...
"There's moviment inside." whispers Catcher. "We can try to surprise then or draw then out and ambush then. What do you want to do?" she says in a barely audible whisper.

![]() |

After a minute holding her breath, Catcher slowly releases it and whiper.
"That was a close one, but they have not noticed us. Want to try again?" she says with a grim smile.

![]() |

Looking at the Barbarian, Jak, Jarl and Balian, Catcher remember the other woman that set with then to see justice done to Lamm.
"And you? What do you think..." thinking for some seconds then the says "Marada?" but before she has any chance to replay, Catcher turns to Jakt and with a smile "I kinda liked you!" and then turns and kick the door open, gripping her longsword with both hands, prepared to lay waste to anyone behind it!
Strike Rank: 1d10 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Let's roll! Lol I'm excited to for this combat!

GM Parker |

Map (doesn't include people's positions)
As Catcher kicks the door in, presumably expecting guards, she gets something of a shock: the room is filled with children, scrambling out of their blankets at the sudden shock of heavily armed adults storming their sleeping area. Some are as young as three, and none are older than their early teens. There are shouts from upstairs, as the children start trying to find a way to escape.
To the right of the door is a set of stairs leading up to another door, and ahead of you is a set of stairs leading up to a gangway - presumably where the children are observed from by their masters. Next to the first lot of stairs there is a pool of water fed by holes in the wall, at around the same height as the upstairs door.

Marada Tel'Menaran |

Marada grins with delight at Catcher's rash charge into the room , following quickly.
Halting in surprise at the crowd of children, she remembers that Lamm uses children for his enterprises, this "Lambs".
Calling out to the panicked chidren, lowering her rapier she says "Calm yourself, children, we're here for your master. You are in no danger from us!"
Influence (65) 1d100 ⇒ 71 Drat!

![]() |

Dropping her sword, the excitement all vanished from her face, Catcher slumps to the ground and say in a weak voice ”I did not knew… I almost…” then still in the ground she says to the children ”I once was one of you, Lamm tried to kill me, but now I’ll save you all from him!”
Influence: 1d100 ⇒ 5 x Skill 42

GM Parker |

Honestly, neither of you had much chance - that particular check had a -40 to your skill, so even Catcher's fantastic roll isn't enough.
The door leading onto the gangway bursts open, and a large half orc storms through.
"WHAT THE HELL IS... WHO ARE THEY?! KILL THEM!!!" he screams. The kids, meanwhile, are terrified. They back into a corner under the gangway, hoping to avoid the violence.
The half orc is wearing ringmail armour (wide metal rings, similar to chain but with much wider rings, sewn onto a leather backing), and is carrying a heavy mace and a wooden shield.

![]() |

Getting up again, taking her sword Catcher says to the half orc.
"Long time no see Giggles, are you still beating little children to dead?" and then she will charge and attack him.
Longsword(74): 1d100 ⇒ 22
I want to hit his sword arm, but if that is not possible, I'm rolling for hit location.
Location: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Dmg: 1d10 ⇒ 8
Can I use for initiative the the value I had already rolled?
I'll be prepare to defend myself if he attacks.

Jarl Purrun |

Initiative+Strike-Armor Penalty: 1d10 + 13 - 0 ⇒ (2) + 13 - 0 = 15
Jarl chants in Varisian, waving one hand rhythmically while the other moves as if shaking a tambourine in time with the chant, stomping on the ground as he claps. A shimmer travels through the air to Giggles, and it looks like the shimmer begins shaking part of the half-orc's form . . ..
2 Actions to cast Palsy modified only for range.
Sorcery 57: 1d100 ⇒ 80
The indication of the half-orc shaking proves to have been only an illusion, though.
Failed! Cost the actions and 1 Magic Point: 13 left.

Jakthion Tauranor |

Initiative: 1d10 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
I guess I don't have armour. For some reason, I don't seem to have anything besides my weapons. I'll look into this and see what I did wrong.
Jakthion is caught unawares by the presence of all of the children. He falters for a moment before regaining his senses.

GM Parker |

1d10 ⇒ 3 + 9 = 12
1d100 ⇒ 3
The half orc smirks as he blocks Catcher's blow and hits her weapon hard, hoping to knock it out of her hands.
Please give me an attack roll to not be disarmed - it needs to be a crit, and it needs to at least tie with 3.
Whether it works or not, he takes a swing at Catcher, and it looks like it's going to hit.
1d100 ⇒ 52
If you lose your weapon and parry anyway, you'll still take full damage, but if you crit you still get a combat manoeuvre you can use.

![]() |

Okay! Lets hope for a miracle between 3 and 7! :D
Still not entirely sure of what happened; Catcher tries despairingly to maintain the grip in her sword.
Atk: 1d100 ⇒ 41
But she was caught entirely by surprise, dropping her sword and exposing herself to Giggles attack.
In a last attempt to get out of harm way, Catcher trys to evade his attack.
If I cannot evade, she'll take the damage. I have only a dagger other than the longsword and no time at all to get it before she get hit.
Evade: 1d100 ⇒ 36 x Skill 70

GM Parker |

1d100 ⇒ 95
1d20 ⇒ 8
1d8 + 1d2 ⇒ (7) + (2) = 9
Balian's sword swoops under the half orc's shield, and while it doesn't cut through his armour, there's the distinct sound of ribs cracking from the impact.
Please pick a manoeuvre - you get one.
Catcher, meanwhile, leaps backward out of the way of the half orc's swing, landing flat on her back.
You can spend an action to get back up once it comes back to you.

Marada Tel'Menaran |

Seeing no chance to engage Giggles directly, Marada extends her free hand and mutters a few strange syllables....noises that for some reason cannot be remembered by those in hearing range.
The air around her now clenched fist shimmered for a moment, then with the end of her brief chant...
Disruption 2, Common Magic (57) 1d100 ⇒ 70
Marada curses, having failed to manifest the correct patterns.
