"Nothing! Don't worry!"
After a few minutes, the magical incantations cease, the door opens and Constantine returns with a book and your revolver, however something seems different about it.
It seems larger in your hand, but just as light as before. Where the iron sights were now rests a raised iron sight with a cover over them to keep the light from distorting your aim.
The handle is now ivory engraved with the barrel having intricate markings engraved into it. "I have improved your firearm and made note of the changes. Here, let me show you."
Your revolver now does Large damage (2d6) instead of Medium damage, has a range of 30 ft, and it has been equipped with a small version of a True-Seeing Sight. By spending a Full Round action, you may fire one shot at your highest bonus and fire against a creature's touch AC instead of normal AC.
After he goes through how to work it, he hands you a new holster for it now that your old one won't fit. "Be careful with it, and good luck on your adventures young Gevet."

Vi Shelling |

She takes her gun bowing her head in the manner that she was taught in her childhood, Thank you very much Sir, this shall help me greatly in my adventures. Before she leaves to head back to the inn.
I am not spending my gold on anything, I am saving it for a belt that adds +4 to both my Dex and Con

"Ah, you must be the knife master. Let me see uh...Nito was it? Ah yes, I remember now."
"Ap ap! Careful with that book! It's very old and delica--oh wait, that's a duplicate. Nevermind. You must be the man from the monastery, Dobbs, right? I remember what to do for you....although I was told you were something different...ah well. On with business."
Constantine goes into the back room again, this time returning with a sash and pair of black leather boots.
"For the daggersmith, a pair of the finest enchanted boots. Wear these, and you'll always be able to make it up those buildings."
"For the meditation master, a sash with devastating effect. By simply focusing your ki, you'll be able to have some attacks have no effect on you."
Nito is given a pair of Spiderclimb Boots. You now have a climb speed of 20ft, but must have your hands free. Dobbs is given aBluring Sash. Spend a ki point as a swift action you'll be under the effect of Blur.
Vi is able to find out that most of the blackpowder events involve target shooting, black powder building, and one event involving water.

I will follow to the shop. Once there, I approach the owner, and ask about the payment. I also ask: As well as the payment, do you have an apprentice in Magical Crafting? I have a task that might boost some moral for a young crafter, perhaps too simple for your time.

As Ian waits for the shopkeeper's response, a rumbling purr is heard from a satchel slung over his shoulder, and the contents of thee bag begin to stir, until Ian absently rubs the bag, and its passenger quiets down.

The Nameless GM |
"Ah, ah yes yes, of course. Ian, am I right?" Constantine starts looking through the books he has set out, which is almost all of them, and eventually find what he's looking for. He opens a fairly clean book, and inside, inset into the pages, is a small amulet that looks like a fine mesh net strung across a silver hoop.
"You are a bard, no? Use this whenever you start singing." He holds the net up to his mouth singing out of key into the mesh. As he sings, his voice seems to echo much louder than before. You increase the range of all your vocal based abilities, including your bardic performance, is increased by 1/2 (30ft=45ft, 10ft=15ft, 25ft=35ft). However, it takes up your neck slot. You'll have to choose.
He turns to Myali.

Ian_Moone |

Her name is Nessie, Nito. I got him from a few people of your profession, because they had nowhere to stay, and no money. I offered them my room at our inn, in exchange for this little miscreant, whom they were about to sell off for meat. After swapping his ruff forthr amulet and stowing it into his pack, Ian reaches into the satchel and sets a tiny, blue scaled form onto his shoulder, which quickly settles itself across Ian's shoulders. Once it settles, the others can identify the scaled head as belonging to some form of sea dragon. "Nessie" begins to rumble lightly and to pear around from under Ian's hair

Ian_Moone |

Nessie: Cyclops? We have a cyclops? And a raven? I don't like birds. They're annoying. Can I eat this one?
Ian: No, youngling, hush.
To Nito: No I have not seen Roman since you clocked him in the head with your sap

Vi Shelling |

Vi heads back to the inn, she decides she would rather kill the man rather than let him live, rape is a terrible thing. She quietly enter and sits next to him before putting her gun to his head, she pulls the trigger as he does not notice.

One of the guards, probably the captain by the look of his uniform, takes the bounty, looks it over, then over at the dead man. He waves his hand and the spears go up, leaving you to it.
"Next time, don't cause such a mess. You'll get your reward at the Administration. Just mention Captain Rodgen and show them the bounty. They'll know." He leads most of the guards out, a couple of them staying behind to clean up the mess.
Constantine looks it over with a trained eye. "Ah, yes, Norgorber. God of Assassins, Poison, and Murder. I have just the thing."
He heads into the back room, a series of incantations occur, and he returns, holding the unholy symbol. The symbol looks like it is made of solid onyx, polished to a perfectly smooth finish, the spark made of white gold.
"I've imbued your symbol with pure unholy power. When you use it, make sure your friends aren't around."
When you Channel, your effective level is increased by +2 and one die will always be a 6.

The Nameless GM |
"Yeah, sorry, no can do. Magical items like that would take way too long. I have the spells and enhancements for you planned out way ahead. If you want me to upgrade it, you'll have to leave it with me for about a week, and you'll have to pay for it."
When Dobbs mentions the Raven, Constantine laughs. "You don't need to find him! If he needs you, he'll find you, easy as that. And besides, everyone is preparing for the Tournament, so if you're going to find him, he'll be there. He's always been there."
---------------------------
Meanwhile, Vi finds herself in the Administration building to turn in her bounty and sign up for the Tournament. After getting her reward of 250 Rounds, she heads off to get signed up. After signing a waver that says if she gets hurt it's her own fault, she has to actually choose her events.

Man of War Tournament

The Nameless GM |
Did you sign up for all three obstacle courses?
The Man of War Tournament is based on the idea of warships in water. Set in a large body of water, two small ships with three people on each team set out to "sink" the other ship. There are small targets on each of the three masts on the ship. By hitting all three of these targets, the mast will fall and the ship will be closer to sinking. The teams can shoot at each other to prevent them from attacking.
The Man of War Tournament is black powder only, but the Galleon Tournament is just the same designed for bows and boarding instead of black powder.
Every bullet, arrow, and other weapon is designed to deal non-lethal damage, so competitors can keep fighting.

The Nameless GM |
During the Man of War tournament, Raven makes his appearance and drains the Charisma of the nations. When Allure's bodyguard attacked, Dobbs found himself with a flaming burst war axe in his head. Needless to say, it wasn't there for long.
After the fight, Nito chopped the head of the Dwarven fighter and threw it into the water along with Allure's body. All of a sudden, the Raven reappears before then, still floating with a black ball of energy in his hand.
"Wow. I knew Gruber was a monster, but I'll admit, I thought he may have been a bit much for you. Now I see I was wrong. Tis a shame about your monk friend. Then again, I guess now he has achieved true enlightenment. Or something like that." The Raven chuckles a little. "You have done such a good job for me that I shall give you a little something for your efforts." He extends his hand with the orb in his hand, and white tendrils appear from the orb. They each touch you on the forehead and you feel enlightened and more personable. All of your negatives from killing Deep Thought and Allure no longer apply.
"As an added bonus, I'll let you off the hook. For now. Enjoy your time off." The Raven then disappears in a flash of black light.

Vi Shelling |

Vi will take her prizes with a thank you, she will use the +1 enchantment to add corrosive damage to the revolver. She will put the money into savings so that she can purchase her belt of physical might. She then observes the target and adds a leather strap making it a buckler for her. she then goes to a work bench making the buckshot and the rubber bullets into metal cartridges for her gun, and buts them into her ammo pouch. She then puts the silencer onto her gun slinking off into the shadows. Shooting at a random citizen.

The random citizen that Vi fired on has a hole blown through his head, then has the hole melt the rest of his head down to his jaw, all in front of his lover. When the guards arrive, there is no sign of who or what killed this man, and the case goes cold. It will remain an unsolved case for years to come.

The following members of society hold control in the city of Shear Point.
Mayor Gorus is the head of the government of Shear Point and is also the Head of Commerce. He has a place in the Administration of Commerce building on the top floor. If anyone wishes to speak with him, all they need to do is make an appointment. He's known for spending his money fairly quickly, but most of it goes to charity auctions and such. He is currently single after a number of divorces, his two children being the Clair Gorus, Head of Diplomatic Relations, and Alexander, Chief Architect in Shear Point.
Rutherford Glenstone, a Dwarf from the south, is head treasurer and Chief of Engineering in the Shear Point Mines to the north of town. His son, Hayes, works in the mines as Head Miner. While being a simple man, he enjoys a good horse race and has been known to spend a little too much time at the local races.
High Paladin Leopold Cross is Captain of the Guard in the City of Shear Point. His mantra is "Innocent until Confession," as the only people he sentences to the gallows are those who admit and aren't sorry for what they do. Anyone else simply gets time in prison, fines, or community service, mostly in the Mines. He runs the Guard along side his wife, Lt. Sanra, a Half-Orc that turned from a life of crime to justice. Prison Warden and Executioner at the Gallows, her time with the Inquisition has led her to know who is and who isn't guilty, even when they themselves don't know. When she isn't caring for her three month old son, she's in the prisons, weeding out the guilty from the innocent.
Roger Salter, also known as "Old Salt," is the Harbormaster in Shear Point. He spins a mean tale in the taverns, and even when he's wrong, everyone respects him, regardless of his short stature as a Halfling. His favorite tale involves a pirate queen, a tropical storm, and a jealous Sea Goddess. His daughter, Aloisia, is Admiral of the Shear Point Navy, and a harder tack than her mother ever expected of a lady. Old Salt likes to spend time out at sea, and when he's not on a ship, he's in either at a tavern or the horse races with his best friend Rutherford Glenstone.

Ian returns to the Violet Room to see Nito waiting at one of the tables in the bar room. He waves to get the man's attention, motions for Nito to follow him, and heads on to their conjoined rooms in the inn. If Nito follows, he finds Ian sitting at the day table with a note resting on the table.

My comrade, we have done well with our one business venture, and I would like to expand. Though, perhaps we should not expand horizontally, but vertically: a finger in each pie, rather than paying for the whole pie. We can open a bodyguard firm, and... convince local businesses that they require our protection, which is where this note comes in. These are the people in power within the City of Shear Point. I have gathered as much information as possible on these people, but I need your stealth to gather information of the... volatile variety. We need to be able to put pressure on them should we need to... act as our dear lost comrade Null?
