No, didn't think I hit you -- just setting up a stock line that I can copy and paste. And half of 8 is 4. :-p
Zarabeta again flings an acid serpent wide of her target.
Fiosa prepares to summon her goddess' energy again while Marius' swords carve the second shadow into pieces. Even as he watches the shreds of black evaporate, he notices two more shadows sliding out of the wall of the landing across from the main doorway.
You guys might need that channel later.
Still in rounds. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 Waifrin's up. You all may reroll intiative if you choose.
Marius' swords slice into another shadow, but it and its companion keep coming.

I don't blame you for hating them. They suck to fight and Fiosa's channel isn't strong enough to down them in one. If you step into the big square stairwell, then the shadows wouldn't have to get past you to get to the others. You would suffer fewer attacks. Right now you are the first target at a choke point. Maybe they'll get tired of hitting you and slide into the walls to get to the others.
Marius cuts the second shadow to inky ribbons. Looking up past the dispersing black fog he sees another pair of shadows slide out of the same patch of wall.
Did Zarabeta's last blast either hit, or, if it hit, do damage?
Zarabeta moves back towards the way they entered this surreal space, as that's the only exit she's aware of, opening the door if she can reach it in a single move.
Marius will be starting in the square with the red arrow. Shadows are popping out of the wall at the blue arrow.
The shortest way out is through the door to B2. You can retrace your steps in a long circle or cut trough B3. At B5a and b you can try jumping off the stairway to the passages 30' lower in the western walls.
Zarabeta is still heading for the door, and opens it if she has the movement / action left over, so that the others can attempt to move through it without slowing down.
Marius breaks for the door, followed by the rest of you. He opens it and turns to face the shadows while the rest of you pile through. As the shadows close, he comes through and slams it behind him.
After a few moments it's apparent no dark ghostly pursuit comes after you.
Marius sags against the door breathing heavily..."Somehow I don't think we will be going that way again" he says his hands shaking as he sheathes his swords.
Fiosa approaches him studies him carefully for a moment then casts Lesser Restoration on him

Marius feels some warmth flow through him but still feels weakened.
"Well, I vote we make a rush for the stairs. The shadows didn't bother us before that way. We have rope, with one of us tied to it we might be able to make the leap to the edge of the passageway, and there we can use a piton to secure the line and get back and forth."
"If we're willing to wait a while, I can ask Iomedae for blessings that will restore Marius's strength...that is, if the gods can reach us in this place. I wonder where those shadows were coming from, anyways?" Fiosa ponders.

"We're meant to be attending a party," Waifrin points out. "We have one shot at this, and one only. Blow it, and we may as well all go home and cower in our beds."
Zarabeta readies an action to throw conjurered acid at the first shadow she sees, hoping to strike it before it's within melee range of someone, and her shot becomes that much more difficult.
