Yes, Crios will use 2(or should it be 3?) charges from his wand of infernal healing to heal himself, and offer the healing to anyone else that needs it.

Someone please go ahead and boost the aid token and we can pass it on.

Ranalus will channel positive energy to boost the aid token and pass it on.

Even though he has a pretty weak channel (2d6/2 due to multiclassing and Variant Channeling), that doesn't seem to matter as far as the Aid Token goes. Just one use of channel positive energy, which he has.

He also turns to Crios. "If you wish true healing rather than the works of Asmodeus, I can heal your wounds. But if you wish to trust that fiend, that is your decision." Also doesn't use up wand charges.

If Crios Accepts:

Dispel Magic -> CSW: 3d8 + 7 ⇒ (3, 5, 2) + 7 = 17

Crios bows graciously to Ranalus.

"Thank you my friend. I most certainly accept you kindness in place of the works of a fiend. Let me assure you I have no love for Asmodeus or his ilk, but I merely respect the benefits of healing magic I myself can use. I mean't no offense."

I checked and I posted using two charges from his wand after the first encounter(which was non-lethal). This should clear all the non-lethal damage he had left and bring him close enough to full.

***OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT***

The crowd of guards, onlookers, and concerned citizens outside the Blakros Museum quiets as Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin approaches a woman clad in furs exiting the museum. “My Pathfinder agents tell me that you are Medda of the Twinhorn following, is that correct?”

“Yes, I speak for the following.” Medda glares at Nigel Aldain, “I have come to reclaim what is rightfully ours. His agents stole our most sacred relic after we refused to sell it. We have traveled through dangerous lands to claim it back, and still he refused—”

“My agents claim they bought it,” Nigel protests. “I’m not going to just give it to you because you stomp into my office demanding priceless artifacts.”

Valsin interjects, “Nigel, let us listen to her story and decide how to proceed. Medda, tell us about this relic. Why is it so important to you?”

Medda takes a deep breath. “Over 900 years ago, a powerful warrior named Ivvora came into our camp. She spoke of an angel named Vildeis who guided her hunt for a great dark evil she called Eshimka. Several of our scouts had recently disappeared, later found ripped into pieces. The elders insisted that we help banish this evil and ensure the safety of our following. They laid a trap for the evil spirit, luring it to our sacred standing stones on the winter solstice. There, Ivvora and the great dark evil, Eshimka, fought a mighty battle that raged for hours. Just as the night was darkest, Ivvora dealt Eshimka a telling blow, digging her dagger deep into its flesh. The creature tried to escape, but it only snapped off the blade and then collapsed on the center stone. The elders finished their ritual and destroyed it completely.

“Ivvora rested with us for the winter before departing to eradicate more evil from the world, but not before leaving us the hilt of her weapon.” Medda withdraws a bundle of bloody cloth from her bag, then unwraps it to reveal a small hilt with a bloody fragment of black metal. “She told us to bring the hilt back to the standing stones every year at the winter solstice to keep evil away. We’ve had to travel for so long to retrieve the hilt, I’m afraid we won’t make it back in time for the solstice. Please, let me leave now.”

Ambrus Valsin contemplates Medda’s story for a moment, then nods, his brow furrowed. “Nigel, you should send for the Blakros agents who ‘obtained’ the hilt and hear what they have to say. Medda, I’m going to send as many Pathfinder agents as you deem necessary to travel with you and your following. I want to ensure we return this relic to its proper place.” Nigel starts to protest, but Valsin cuts him off. “Nigel, you wanted my help; you are getting it. I’m helping you fix a mistake your agents made. As for your museum,” Valsin takes a moment to survey the heavily damaged museum, ”I’m told most of the damage was done by your own security, not Medda and her following.

“Pathfinders, prepare to head north to the Realm of the Mammoth Lords.”

This concludes Part 1.

***OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT***

“My Pathfinder allies, thank you for bringing us much needed support,” says Medda, the Twinhorn following’s spiritual leader. She stands beside Anok, her phantom and constant companion. “After the orc ambush sapped our supplies and strength, we pushed north to our winter home. We are only hours away from the stone circle and our encampment—if we are going to make it there by midnight, we need to press on. Once there, we will use Ivvora’s hilt to perform our time-honored ritual and keep evil from our lands.” Medda produces the small hilt of a broken weapon with only a fragment of its black metal blade remaining. “Let us move. There are dangers in these ancient woods: orc raiders, bears that topple trees, and worse. Stay in groups and don’t get lost.”

As the Kellids and Pathfinders reach the top of the hill next to the Twinhorn encampment, they notice splashes of blood and the occasional corpse dotting the landscape. Medda raises her voice, calling, “My brethren, our families are under attack! Secure the camp and drive back any who oppose you. Pathfinder allies, join us in defense of our home!” The landscape opens into a burned hillside where blackened trees stand like lifeless sentinels. A crude blockade shields the entrance to a natural cavern.

Many have passed since you left Absalom, you survived orc country and have arrived at the home of the kellids.

You are assumed to have had an extended rest. Spells are refreshed, etc.
Also, you can buff as you had time to since there were signs something was wrong before you reached the battle, so a little time buffing makes sense.

Undead huddle near the blockade. One is a desiccated corpse wielding a greatsword, its eyes blazing with eerie red light. The other 3 have thick muscle and jutting bone from multiple corpses fused together to form a winged, humanlike predator.

Having seen signs of trouble, Ranalus would have cast Shield of Faith on himself.
@Crios: OOC, there is nothing wrong with Infernal Healing. IC, most of my characters assume there is a hidden catch and everyone who benefits from it has to spend one year as a lemure per casting, or something like that. The spell is a gift of Asmodeus, after all. Ranalus does have a personal issue with devils and Cheliax, but is perfectly willing to let others risk damnation if they want. His reaction here is just for flavor and lore.
I do think it would have been great for PFS if they asked GMs to record who was healed for how much by Infernal Healing, for several seasons, and when asked why just smiled and said 'no reason.'

The Ragewight flies into a rage at the sight of you and rushes forward!

Regarding Ragewight's the group knows they have undead traits, there attacks do energy drain and also creatures slain by Ragewights rise as cairn wights, they also rage like barbarians, but have no special defenses or resistances.

Regarding Scrambler Necrocraft's the group knows they have only undead traits, no resistance, DR, or special attacks.

He shouts words of encouragement.

"See Master Kreel?! We saved that one for you!" unless of course Reavis dropped it, and then Crios would just sigh and say "Don't fret Master Kreel. I'm sure there will be an abundance of enemies for you to bloody your blade with in our future..."

Kivuli strikes with his Estoc badly wounding the necrocraft. Reavis's bomb scatters pieces of the redish necrocraft all over. Crios crushes the necrocraft Kivuli weakened. It falls from the sky, as Kuriq's arrows whiz in and drop the last of the necrocraft.

Combat over.

You can now seek aid from the tribal elders, fight more undead pouring into the kellid camp, or head straight to the rift and battle the undead there.

Last time we met the elders, and with our wide skill range, that might be another good thing for the whole event. Of course we are still somewhat buffed up, so if we fought another group now we could possibly conserve resources and do well there too. I can even carry Anduris to get him closer to the fight and have another melee guy up close. I am good either way, but I will put my vote to meeting the tribal elders first.

Crios lands next to Anduris and pats the sturdy dwarf on the shoulder.

"Oh, that would have been so refreshing! Do bring that on our next outing Master Kreel. I so would appreciate chilled berry spring water, and in a glass no less!"

Then with a wide grin he asks, "What say we head to the elders now, while the other pathfinders keep moping up the rest of these undead? I'm sure your wit, which is just as sharp as your sword, will come in quite handy there my friend."

ou arrive at a large tent its thick hide walls muffle the sounds from outside. You enter, iron spikes pin down an enormous map in the center of the tent. Wooden carvings of warriors and monsters lie strewn about the map, marking the location of fighting warriors and the encroaching undead.

As you enter, you hear Medda’s voice.“You’re asking us to leave behind everything we know and care about!”

“Indeed,” rumbles Anok the phantom’s deep and booming voice, “You would have us abandon our sacred pledge to Ivvora.”

“Aye, I’d have us abandon this lunacy!” Another man proclaims as you enter. He is a towering man, broad-shouldered and sturdily built, wearing the cloak of dire polar bear. Covered in scars and with a proud bearing, his presence fills this tent as he paces back and forth. “Surely we can find better winter hunting grounds, where we don’t have to compete for game with bloodthirsty orcs and cursed undead! As for leaving behind what we care about... What I care about is my warriors, many of whom we’ve left behind on this battlefield!”

“Who are we as a people if we abandon our oaths? I demand,” declares Medda, “that we stay and fight for our homes and our traditions!”

In addition to Medda, Anok the phantom, and the towering man, there is a fourth person in this room. An old woman with plenty of scars of her own, is calmly listening to the arguments while she fletches arrows. She has to bring the arrows close to her face as she fletches, but her ears are turned towards the conversation. With tanned and wrinkled skin, white hair cut short, and a weathered longbow by her side, there is an intense focus about the old woman, and the other three leaders keep darting glances her way, as if waiting for her to weigh in.

Then the old woman looks up with clouded eyes at the tent flap opening where you are gathered. Squinting at the sun in her face, she asks with a quavering voice, “Are you the warriors that Medda told us about? If so, I am pleased to meet you, and hear your wisdom. I am Jala the Patient. This bear in human form is Kragr Bloodhand. You already know Medda and Anok.” She pauses, grabbing a drink from a leather water skin and licking her lips. “Speak. We are at a decision point.”

Now you have an opportunity to influence the three Leaders of the Following (Medda, Kraugr, Jala) to stay and help the fight. Even Medda needs convincing, for the arguments of others have started to wear upon her.

THE RULES
There will be three rounds where you can each try to influence one of the members, or discover information about them that might be helpful you figure out how to influence them best. Each round you may make a single skill check to 1) influence, 2) discover or 3) aid another to someone else’s roll.

You may always take ten if you wish. If you have an oddball profession or craft that you think might also be applicable, ask... I am always willing to consider rarely used skills used creatively. I will also reward great roleplay here!

Each of the Leaders: Medda, Kraugr and Jala need number of successful checks to be convinced to stay. The number of checks needed for each one of the leaders varies.

"Of course you are right Kuriq. I sought only to find some comfort in such a grisly situation. Forgive my bravado, and lets focus on the task at hand."

"Medda, I know you from our time together to be a strong and selfless protector for your people. You can't tell me now that you see leaving as anything other than a short delay in the inevitable conflict that these undead are forcing upon your people."

He gives her a moment to think on this before launching further into his explanations.

"The undead are voracious and untiring, stopping at nothing to rid the world of life. Your people are that life. If you run, they will only take you from behind as you tire, and further weaken you before they make a push to finally devour you. You must know this to be true."

Having explained several reasons why they must stand and fight, he finally forwards what they really must do.

"We must stand and fight while we are at our strongest, honoring the faith of your gods, your ancestors and yourselves, wiping this scourge from the world so your people... nay, all people of these lands, can truly be safe. The society is here in strength to help you do just that."

Kuriq watches Kragr as a skeptical look comes across his face, he can tell Kragr doesn’t like people to think he’s a coward. Insinuating that he’s afraid motivates him to look strong, but outright calling him a coward makes him angry. He'll respond to Intimidate, and possibly also Diplomacy or Bluff

Ranalus gathers from Medda that her bloody bandage and celestial rune scars symbolize her devotion to Vildeis, the empyreal lord known as the Cardinal Martyr. She selflessly fights any encroaching evil. [oco]She'll likely be the easiest to convince with Knowledge (religion) or Perform (oratory).[/ooc]

Yes, Ranalus is right, we must fight these undead for the home of our ancestors. Medda replies.

Jala replies to Reavis appeal, It is true the orcs would ravage the lands we've protect for so long; that is if the undead can even be overcome.

Medda listens to Crios's reasoning and plea. You are right Crios, How can we forsake our ancient oath to Ivvora? We have upheld it for so long now, and then at the first site of danger are we to run?! Or do as we promised and uphold Ivvora's legacy!
