Many killings have been reported all around a peaceful riverside town.
Citizens have seen hooded and cloaked figures, and point their fingers at the Ranger corps.
Are they really the ones behind it? If so, who has the power to stop them?
It is up to a group of heroes to find some answers.
The other two groups of this i've tried to run have both turned inactive. I'm looking for people who can handle a post or two per day.
Requirements:
A level 1 Bard, Cleric, Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Wizard, or Sorcerer.
Archetypes are allowed, but only from Ultimate Combat.
A 20 point ability buy
Please post if you're interested in playing. Thanks!

Dotting for intrest. I have a scarred rager barbarian that might be fun to bring into the group. Just need to work on the ability stuff/gear, then will post here later.
A few quick questions: Why aren't we using archetypes from UM or classes from APG, UC, or UM? And what will the starting gold be for each character? The average, maximum, or what?

I only have basic Hero Lab with the add-on for Ultimate Combat, so if there where anything from
the other books and add-ons I would not be able to check the rules for their Archetypes. So yes, the Core Book and UC are the only books allowed.
Starting gold is 150 gp, though I am allowing traits, so "Rich Parents" can change that.
I'm looking at a nice mix of Role Playing and dice rolling, though it takes quite a bit of roleplaying to set up the story.
All base races are allowed plus Aasimar, Gillman, Mite, and Tiefling. All alignments are allowed except the evil ones. Currently I don't know how many levels we're planning, so I can't answer that. Now I think that's every question answered.

If you need access to the other books for archetypes and other info, look in the PRD.
Gillman sounds interesting. I will go with that race. I do not have a class selected yet although it will probably be a ranger or rogue. I will begin making an investigative type.

EXAMPLE: A Fighter is a d10, so he starts out with max health (10) + Constitution modifier. Let's say he has a Con mod of 2. His HP would then be 12 at first level.
When you level up take 1/2 the characters Hit Dice and add 1 to it, then add in your Con mod.
We'll stick with the Fighter example: 1/2 HD (d10) = 5 + 1 + Con mod (2)
The Fighter's HP at Lv. 2 is then 20 (12 + 8)

Awesome! Thanks for the clarification.

There are a lot of rules on d20pfsrd from the books and 3rd party material, including most of the archetypes. I do have a question about what races are available though, as I'm in the mood to play something exotic.
Or I could just roll randomly (d8 for race, d12 for class) and come up with a gnome paladin (empyreal knight).

That's a good character. You're locked in! Thanks for making her so fast. The last thing I want to do is sit around forever waiting for players to make characters. I would like one more person to be locked in (character made and all) before we start.
To recap, so far we have: Sinque (Half-Orc Bard), Cilda (Human Barbarian), and Uldumastie (Gnome Paladin).

Growing up we lived next door to the Delacroix family. They had tow sons , Quintyn and Lliard. Vondarth and I would have sword fights with them and even at a young age Quintyn showed superior skill with a sword, where Lliard was more into the arcane arts.
After sometime my brother and I went to study the arcane arts with Farsain. Fairsain is one of the scorcer's at the Arcane Arts Acadamy. Vondarth's arcane abilities were stronger than mine and I dropped out to pursue the fine points of simple and martial weapon combat.
My beauty and charm have helped me get out of tight spots along the way. I have began to work for the Taldan guards gathering and acquiring information.

I have never played a Bard before, even though I've sit on the thought of making one for a while now. So this is new territory in me running away screaming every combat. :)
