Princess Sparkletrot hates fire. Well, no, the happy little firedrake is a fine fellow, and everyone is special in their own way and FIRE!

Princess Sparkletrot spends her time shaking her hair to and fro, trying to extinguish the fire. Eventually she gets rid of the flames. I assume that's a full round action?

When Corona mentions surrounding the elemental isn't very useful, Sheela shakes her head. "Well, I guess we'll have to end this quickly, right Princess?" Sheela swings with her mace again.

Light Mace: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Princess Sparkletrot has taken 5 damage so far. 2 rounds remaining.

Tiffany stares daggers at Sheela. "STOP CALLING ME PRINC--.. Ooooh, it's the magical pony! YAY!" She excitedly hops around, then realizes the pony was set on fire and frowns. "Look what you did to her hair... What a jerk!" She tries to clobber the elemental.

Quarterstaff, flanking: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 5 + 2 = 201d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Sparkletrot puts out the fire in her shiny mane, and Sheela misses the flaming elemental.

Tiffany can't flank the fire elemental, but she still manages to hit it.

It is now the elemental's turn. It's flickering tonges reach Tiffany, the last person to whack it, and it cackles with delight!

I'm horrible but I swear I smell grilled frog's legs... "Woah Tiff you're on fire! Someone get some water on that girl! You'll pay for that." Watching its flames dance for a few moments he times his downward chop into what he hopes and thinks is the head of the little camp fire before him.

Sheela and Princess Sparkletrot fail to do much more than catch air.

Yorad gives the fiery elemental a solid cut! Princess Sparkletrot attempts to get her revenge on the flaming elemental, but misses, as does Sheela!

As Yorad makes his wish for a downspout, he notices a human-sized water elemental starting to splash its way towards your group...

Tiffany frantically smothers the flames with her tiny hands, then shouts in the face of the cocky elemental. "Ow! That really hurt! You #%!$#!@ cheater!" Her skin is singed and the flesh underneath her legs is quite literally cooked. "Sophia, quit looking at my legs like that!"

Full round to douse it

When i was in Beijing, i visited a food market. Guess what amphibian also made its appearance, well fried & on a stick?

Since Tiffany hit the elemental, Sophia's painful stare triggers for +1 dmg.

The painful stare staggers the fiery elemental, though Sophia's acid splash misses it!

Tiffany frantically pats herself down and stops flaming!

Although she now has a better advantage of trying to strike the elemental with Yorad standing on the other side, Corona realizes that they might be in for a prolonged fight and could probably use some extra assistance.

"Hey hey, if anyone's listening up there we could really use your help again - please?" she calls out as she waves frantically up at the sky.

Casting Bless! Make it count New Friends, it's the last one for today! Oh and I'm the worst because I keep forgetting Corona can use Misfortune. Alas, we've moved on from when Tiffany got hit but I'll add a preemptive note for GM Hmm's sanity that the next time either the fire elemental or the oncoming water elemental smack someone, Corona will force them to reroll it.

The fire elemental, on its last legs, attempts to reach out and smack Mort!

WAVE ONE DOWN!

You all have one round to heal or prepare before the water elemental comes your way. What do you do?

"Sorry about that, Princess!" Sheela pets Princess Sparkletrot. The Princess seems alright, and gallops off to somewhere...

Sheela takes this opportunity to pull out her wand... and then she realizes she can't use it.

"Gah! Someone use this wand on Tiffany."

"If anyone has the time or means once Tiff is healed I could use a splash, nothing serious. I've got my eye on that watery tart heading our way."

Mort will study target and then do his best to try to intimidate the elemental while the rest of the group gets ready.

"HEY! You overgrown water bottle over there, I hope you put up more of a fight than those two firey marshmellows did because I'm gettin' awful thirsty down here!"

Intimidate: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23

"I've got it New Friend Sheela!" Corona calls out as she quickly takes the offered wand and gives Tiffany a tap with it.

Cure Light Wounds (Tiffany): 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

She also listens with a certain amount of awe as Mort begins throwing all sorts of shade at the oncoming water elemental. "'Overgrown water bottle'...I need to write that one down!"

If we're limited to one round of actions then moving to and healing Tiffany is about all Corona can do, sadly...

Tiffany breathes a sigh of relief as the magical healing aids her. "Thank you Sheela and Corona, I can always count on you guys!" Her singed skin turns a little less red and a little more green, but her legs are still feeling overcooked. Well, any part of herself being cooked even slightly would be too far for the small grippli, and she felt concerned that Sophia wanted to eat her. Seriously.

In preparation for next round, she puts her staff away and pulls out a net, proudly display it to the others. "Let's see them get out of this!"

"Ummm...it looks like someone let the water out of the bottle..." Yorad warns as he decides to switch to his rarely used sword. Since these...things don't have organs I'll have to just hack them apart...but how do you hack water apart anyway??

Yorad will sheath his dagger and switch to his shortsword for this fight.

The watery tart is startled by the fierceness of Mort's threat! She sloshes towards Sheela, but she seems to lack a bit of the bravado she might have had before.

Sophia activates her hypnotic stare on the elemental.

But the elemental did not count on how much Corona loves her New Friends!

Mort moves up and around the watery being, dragging his greatsword along behind him, sharpening the tip along the stone floor. "I told you I was coming for a drink. My blade is thirsty!"

The elemental splashes across her mage armor.

Sheela reaches out and tries to touch the elemental after running a string of bad ice and water puns.

Missing entirely, Sheela takes a step back. "Hmm. Maybe I need a plan B."

"Such bad punning.."

Yorad decides the best defense here is a good offense. He steps forward and waves the blade in front of the watery face trying to distract it long enough to give Mort the opening he needed.

Meanwhile, Sheela hits the water elemental with laughing touch. Happy as a splash, the water elemental giggles and burbles like a laughing brook. "హ హ హ! మీరు నవ్విస్తున్నారు!"

Then Yorad hits for another 5 damage on the water elemental!

Overseer thread

A lone Pathfinder suddenly breaks through the gaping wall of elementals and runs towards the Emissary’s platform, leading the charge. It is Jin-Goro of the Exchange faction!

Cheers erupt from fellow Pathfinders as they rally to keep the gap open whilst the brave and desperate lone figure races forward.

Jin-Goro reaches to touch the platform, but as he does, the Emissary bursts into a maddening laugh, and with a wave of his hand, the platform erupts into a shower of smoke, sparks, and cherry blossoms. Before your eyes, eight monks dressed in the robes of their sifu appear, standing in a circular formation atop the platform. With a calm grace, each one assumes a combat stance. Behind the wall of qinggong disciples, the Sifu again calmly seats himself. He closes his eyes, folds his legs, and sits in the lotus position, awaiting the victors.

This is it - the finale!

As Sophia's previous attack missed, and Yorad hit, +1 dmg to his attack from painful stare.

The watery tart dissolves. The monk nearest to you cartwheels into position, purple robes flaring. She prepares to strike. "Hiiiiiiyaaaaaaa!"

Sophia stares at the monk, and starts a lullaby.

"Whaddaya know? Another tart here!" Yorad smiles happily as he somersaults into position, driving into the monk's side.

Mort watches at a bunch of robed warriors appear from nothing and the water bottle runs dry, dissolving like ice cream in the desert. "Hrm, well Yorad at least these guys bleed like men.. we hope?"

He watches as his witty comment doesn't quite get the round of applause he thinks it deserves and Yorad is already on the robed figure. "Hey wait up bud!" As he heads up himself.

Move out and around to flank with the oh so piratey looking fellow as he does what he does best... swing that big sword quite hard!

"Ah, its efforts simply washed away..." She sighs as the elemental melts.

"Oh, hello there. It's time to-" Mort runs up and tears into the monk. "...Well then."

As you approached your prey, you noticed that she was a little blurry*...

...and now, she's a little dead, because Mort's crit confirmed! Her body dissipates into a wisp of air, and blows away, but there's still enough blood on the floor and your clothes for you to know that yes, these people bleed like men.

Another blurry monk in red robes, as if noticing your team for the first time, turns to fight. "So you want to play hardball?"

RTA, Cover, Scorching Ray: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 5 - 4 = 14
She fires a scorching ray at what looks like a soft target...Sheela.

Fire Damage: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 4) = 12
Do you have aasimar fire resistance, Sheela? If so, you only take 7 of that.

The bolt hits sheela at full force. She shrieks as it scorches her before regaining her composure.

"Well, we can't let that happen again." She points at the creature and mumbles arcane words.
