Sunny:
As you look into the chasm, you notice the remains of a few bodies, mostly what appear to be kobold, but a few animals as well. There doesn't appear to by anything living down there, except for various insects.

Since Deiros is MIA for the moment...
"Oh to hell with this slow crap!" says Caelin as he pulls both Polson and Sunny away from the edge of the chasm after putting his sword away. He then starts to make his way to the other side of the chasm, making use of the tied knots as handholds. After a moment, he makes it safely across, draws his sword again, and waits impatiently for the rest of the group.

At Caelin's put burst and feat of gymnastics, Suny does little more than tilt her head. Once Caelin drops down on the other side of the casm, she drops to one knee and covers him with her x-bow.

"I need two hands fer climbin' an' two hands fer shootin'. I in't about t' go clamberin' about less'n I know I in't gon'a get in't trouble." She explains simply.

Perception:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Annnd waitin' fer whut ever I done heard t' make its presence known...:P

Seeing Caelin make his way across, Dra replaces his axe on his belt and slings his shield to climb across as well.

Climb Check, take 10. Total 17. (1d20+7)

Grinning, Dra glances back across the chasm and says "Come on, you only live and die once, and its not that far to fall."

That being said, Dra pulls his axe and shield back out, just in case there are critters afoot.

After Dra reaches the other side of the chasm, Caelin begins to slowly advance. Just a few steps later, he notices four black-scaled kobolds bound to the walls with the many roots sticking from the walls of this egg shaped chamber. Of the four, there is only one who appears to be breathing.

Muttering in Abyssal, peers across the chasm.

Follows the others over the chasm when the time is right.

Sunny waits till every one is across (Except Donk, that big feller c'n go last across) before she again shoulders her x-bow and begins to climb over the chasm...

Climb Check:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13(Untrained)

I hope that be enough t' pass...>_>

"A kobold? One of them still lives. What do the rest of you think we should do with it?"

Dropping down on the other side Sunny looks at Donk, then looks to the Kobold.

"We c'n try talkin' t' it, th' same's we ended up talkin' t' th' DOnk." She suggests with a shrug of her shoulders.

Sorry about the delay, was waiting for Polson.

As Polson is half-way across the chasm, the vine he has a grip on breaks loose after he puts all his weight on it while reaching for the next. Reflex DC 12 or you fall 20 ft.

Male Human (Romandan) Warrior 4

"Oi! Some good luck finally!!!" as he walks towards the Kobold to free him "Polson, this will make our job easier to make peace with the kobolds"

Rolling the Ref save for Polson: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

Only due to his quick reflexes does Polson manage to avoid falling into the chasm. After a moment to catch his breath, he finishes crossing without further issue.

Then Sunny begins to cross, and just before reaching the half-way point, both root grips break free. Reflex DC 14 or fall 20 ft.

As the root creaks under her weight and then gives way with a 'SNAP'...

Ref Save:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

She transfers her weight onto another root just in time and continues to swing across. Dropping down on the other side with all of the others.

Brushing the dirt from her hands she wanders forwards, whil casting a glance back at the chasm,

"Trust th' stoopid lil' Mites t' have somat like that layin' about in'a place." She mutters.

Donk looks around, and then grabs contorts his body to grab the ceiling, and climbs across without issue.

Caelin's booming voice wakes the kobold with a start, and as he jerks back awake he tears open a cut across his torso and begins bleeding badly.

Seeing the small Kobold startle yelp and struggle, only to open up a wound inflicted by the Mites, Suny moves forwards and tears off a piece of her shirt, quickly pressing the linen to the Kobolds side as a makeshift bandage.

Heal Check:1d20 - 2 ⇒ (18) - 2 = 16(Unskilled)

Thence, once the bleeding is under control she does her best to bind the bandage in place.

"Well, that should keep ye t'gether fer now, then. Well, just have t' wait fer t'morrow so's I c'n rest an' heal ye up proper." She comments to the small Kobold.

Sunny then moves to untie the Koblod, "Does ye have a name?" She asks, trying to see if the Kobold understands even a little common.

Within seconds of Sunny's first aid, the kobold collapses, unconscious again.

"Tsk." Is all Sunny responds with, as she continues to untie the wounded Kobold. "[smaller]I cain't say I've ever had a feller I bin helpin' swoon in me arms afore...[smaller]" She pauses and looks around to her companions,

"How do ye tell a bloke Kobold from a lassy, any who?" She asks.

So, she unties the little thing an' sets about how to carry it. All the while trying to determine the best way for Donk to not want to carry the wounded Kobold.

Perception:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

"So? Which way out'a here next?"

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Sweat drips from Polson's brow!

Once the kobold is freed from its bonds, you all look around the chamber, and notice a hole in the ceiling, roughly 8 ft. above the floor. I appears to lead to a chamber above.

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Undercommen to Donk

Spoiler:
"Lift me up big man..."

Polson plans to have a look around inside the hole.

Life, it gets in the way sometimes...

Donk, still clinging to the ceiling, moves over to Polson and wraps one hand around the half-drow, squeezes a little too tightly, and lifts him up into the hole. 2 points nonlethal.

Polson:
Three crude, wooden workbenches occupy the center of this room, their tops strewn with various tiny tools, metal and wooden hardware, and blocks of wood. There is a passage out of this chamber up, and to the east.

Male Tiefling - outsider (native) [demon-spawn] rogue/sorcerer [bloodline: undead] 3

*Lumbers over, straightens up and gazes through the hole since it is only a foot above his head, intones in a low rumble, "Does anyone else wish to be lifted up into the hole?"

Male Human (Romandan) Warrior 4

"Wouldn't mind a hand to avoid opening my wound further lad" as he takes his word for it and set ready to climb

Sorry, I in't sure where this hole is every one's speakin' about.

Polson:
I missed a little something, you had to climb up the hole 30 ft. to reach the chamber you're in now. I'll wave the roll as the hole is tight enough you can make it with ease just by taking 10.

After Polson climbs high enough Donk has to let go he looks at the rest of you.

Prison Chamber.

Chamber Polson's in now.

Aaahhh! So's the hole is above Donk, right?

Sunny does her best to set the Kobold into something of a comfortable position.

"Hey there, mate. Ye's got'a wake up. I cain't go traipsin' about ht' place an' just leave ye here." Suny does her best to awaken the unconscious Kobold while looking to the hole above the giant Mite.

"Um, maybe we could, y'know, climb th' Donk?" She suggests as she eyes the large creature dubiously.

*Braces a little to help Caelin up into the hole.*

Between the efforts of Nerik and Donk, everyone makes it up and into the hole, and manages to climb up into the smaller chamber.

After the last person is in the hole, Donk starts climbing up as well, his joints popping as he squeezes to keep moving. He's also starting to push folks a little as he's easily able to climb up the hole.

Hello? Anybody there?

*waves*

So, we're all up in the chamber you depicted for Polson? Yes.

Feeling a little cramped,

"So, we's right spoiled fer choices, in't we?"

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Polson moves silently to the far side of the chamber before Donk arrives to check for any exits.

Perception? 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Slowly but surely, everyone manages to climb up into the smaller chamber. There is a passage to the north east, which Polson can easily see leads to where the group entered the mite lair. There is the hole to climb back up to the surface.

A couple things: 1. Yasha/Dra will be unable to continue for the time being, so will be accompanying those not active in the game back to Oleg's. 2. Did anyone bring the black kobold up the hole with them? Or are you going to go back around the long way to retrieve him?

Male Tiefling - outsider (native) [demon-spawn] rogue/sorcerer [bloodline: undead] 3

did the kobold come to when Sunny attempted to wake it?
I was assuming that it did wake and is travelling with us with some help.

There was no Heal check to revive the unconscious kobold. So all Sunny did was talk to it.

I be happy t' be carryin' th' lil' feller. He can't weigh in at that much. Just need a god way t' be doin' it, is all. (^_^)

Moving things along a little.

After the group makes there way up and out of the mite lair, including the still unconscious black kobold, everyone decides this would probably be the best place to camp for the night.

Camp and guard setup?

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

"I will take first watch."

After seeing to setting up her bedding and trying to make the Kobold comfortable as well, Sunny nods at Polson's comment,

"Aye, an' well it be I want t' get a full amount o' rest t' have all m' spells and what not handy." She looks around at her companions.

"Um, no one minds if'n I take third watch?" She asks.

As the group sets up camp, some of you notice a human male observing you from the cover of the grass.

Sulna Koll has entered the fray. :D

Also, remember there are a total of 12 characters here who are able to stand watch.

General:
*Does celebratory HAPPY dance!*To welcome new player. (^_^)

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

Polson stares at the hiding figure then hails him over, all the while his left hand resting on his bow.

Sulna comes out of the bushes, not bothering to brush himself clean.
"I don't mean to intrude. I am hoping that I could share your fire for the night. I do have rabbit and bird to join whatever else you are cooking in return."
He is wearing no armor. The only weapon showing is a dagger at his belt.

General:
Hi gang.

Male Half (Dark)Elf Rogue/Fighter (3)

"Greetings stranger. Come join us, there is safety in our numbers and you look to have food to add to our meagre feast!"

Polson stands and extends a hand in friendship to Sulna, wincing slightly from his bruised ribs sustained from Donk!

At the sound of an unknown voice both Angus and Constance whirl around, weapons readied for yet another fight. As soon as they see Sulna they lower their blades and proceed to welcome him into the camp.

Okay, so Polson and Donk will be first watch, anyone else going for first? Sunny has requested third watch. What about Nerik and Sulna? Also, Caelin is getting bumped to the inactive list.

"My name is Sulna, it is good to meet you.
Nice to have some company by the fire. It's been awhile since I have been able to share a fire."

Sulna shakes Polson's hand.
"Sorry about the grime, I've been out here for too long."

Male Human (Romandan) Warrior 4

Sorry real life stuff catching up... babies is not my forte hehehe

Hey dude, sorry to hear about your troubles, but congratulations on being a parent. If you're still able, you're welcome to continue, if not, I understand completely.

Male Tiefling - outsider (native) [demon-spawn] rogue/sorcerer [bloodline: undead] 3

*Works on collecting glands and the like from the dead bodies, once finished, piles the bodies up downwind from the rest of the group. Makes no attempt to sleep all night long, but does listen and watch for any other things approaching, live or dead.*

Sulna starts prepping his food for the fire.
"So, what are you doing out here in the wilds?"

At the sound of the new voice around the camp fire, Suny pops her head up from inside her sleeping blanket.

"Ooooh, just seein' th' sights. Lookin' about, killin th' evil monsters, you know how it is." She says with a mischievous grin.
