The goblinoid that Thorgar so brutally cut down was staring at his severed arm and the gash in his leg. He made a choking sound and looked up in surprise.

The others laughed at the other's pain and continued their advance, one getting Haaken's fist in it's face for it's trouble and went down in a dazed heap. The others stepped around their fallen brothers with very professional maneuvers, efficiently filling the gaps and thrusting and bashing with spear and shield.
Thorgar's massive injuries prove too much for him and he sinks to the snow just outside the circle in a pool of gore, utterly dead.
