Reading over the posts leading up to the crystal flower, I somehow missed that the Blight (thanks to my knowledge check) didn't really display the personality traits or physical traits of a Blight. I kinda wish I had been honest with them...

Yeah. Kinda makes me wish I specced into Diplomacy instead of Bluff...
But considering about half of the party is already Diplomacy-focused already, I felt I needed to fill that social niche.

Anyway... if you're looking for ideas on how to move things forward, didn't the others meet Xeros down here? Maybe we could meet someone else from his old wing?
Or perhaps there's some strange glyphs or some such that are remnants of the magic employed in this place--perhaps those that served as wards for the prison?

By the way, I've recently started an interest check for a Dark Ages Vampire game. If you're interested, you can find the thread here.

Your Demented Storyteller |

Sorry for dropping this, years ago when the group at the time first entered the greenhouse I had an idea for what all lied beneath, but since then I had forgotten and have been trying to remember and it's place just coming up with something off the top of my head, which lead me into hitting a wall as I couldn't pin down what to put down here.
Another reason for that is I don't know if y'all would even be interested in staying or exploring (especially without Mylyna), a lot of this has just felt like I've been wasting my times and making mistakes so I don't know the best way to give y'all a story. You didn't want to deal with the town, Neilina backed out of the exchange with Lalazrue, so a part me doesn't want to think up all the things to put down here if you're just gonna immediately leave and not come back. I keep messing up, I don't know what to do.

You are doing just fine. If the original ideas are gone then by all means, dream up new ones, you have a lot of freedom to come up with what happens. As far as Mylyna goes I think you've picked up fairly well on what she does, or should I say who*cough*anyone*cough*.

Neilina the Marked |

I'm sorry. :(
You've been doing a really good job so far, and I'll admit: I didn't realize I was supposed to exchange the crystal flower with Lalazrue. I was afraid to make things worse, I over-scrutinized everything and ended up psyching myself out.
I'd really like to explore beneath this greenhouse, but I understand the creative wall you've hit--especially regarding PCs and plot hooks.

Mylyna |

No need to be sorry for me. Mylyna is doing fine. I'll admit she isn't one really built for an exploration game per se but she is still useful. Nothing is to say people can't come back for her but at the time they left it didn't make much sense for her to go along.

I'm just not sure what to do! I'm used to the adventure gaming format. Yasmin is basically raising questions that I thought were pertinent - whose house are we in? Is someone going to come back and kick us out? What happens if we run out of food? Having been exiled to a remote island she expects at any moment that she might be forced on the run again, so she is thinking pragmatically - where do I stay? What do I eat? How do I get new clothes as my old things get worn out?
There are all kinds of strange hooks for adventures and investigations but I don't know what to do with them. So there's a strange ancient prison beneath the house? And the entire town is actually sinspawn who think or are acting like they are just mundane humans? But we have no clues about any of this, so she's shelving it until new information comes to light. In the meantime, what can she do? She can cook breakfast and explore the basement but what happens in a week when the pantry is empty? What happens if the townspeople suddenly "wake up" and become sinspawn again? What happens if something else gets out of the prison? What happens if that weird ooze thing that was trying to make a deal gets mad and comes back?
Yasmin is just looking at all of this through a survival perspective and she has no clear answers about how things are going to turn out tomorrow, next week, next month, which means she keeps pushing to try to explore and get more answers!

Mylyna |

Don't forget, not only is the town populated by at least one Sinspawn, (don't know that we figured out who/what the others were, but it also had a color out of space in it which is now, thankfully, gone.
As far as what to do next/where to go, Mylyna wouldn't mind finding more people. I mean this is supposed to be a prison island and we've seen surprisingly few people on it. Where are they all? was it only the one town? Who owns this mansion where Mylyna is sleeping snug as a snake in a rug? What happened to Xeros (he hasn't returned as I recall)?
Just a few things to consider I think.

We'll get through this. he isn't stealing it, we won't let him, but he's not gonna go quietly either.

I'd be cool with Retconning if it would help things flow more easily and get things going again
