The party notices two wyrens that are visible. One is perched on the lighthouse and the second is flying above the tree line (50 feet away), coming from the direction your ship where your ship was anchored. The creature near the treeline is carrying a what looks like a pig, and appears headed towards the lighthouse. You do hear horrible screeching sounds coming from inside the lighthouse, where the beacon would be - if lit.

Chell Silves |

Chell looks up at the flying wyvern, very concerned. "Would there be pigs on an island like this." She hopes the answer is yes and dreads a no. Their ship was in the direction it was flying away from.

baldwin the merciful |

Instinctively everyone turns towards the ship in the harbor, You can see the deck is full with sailors and there is jolly that is tied to port side It is floating bout 30 yards away form the boat, the jolly looks like a bloody feast took place on the jolly. Whoever and whatever was in the jolly initially has been rended and shredded by the wylen, blood and goo=re is was remains,

Astrianna Sparacello |

Astrianna watches the wyvern fly by with the bloody pig and clicks her tongue. "Those bastards have been demanding tribute from our crew." The bard places her hands on her hips, face twisting up in annoyance. "I find that acceptable grounds to end those flying leeches."
She listens to the screeching for a few moments and guesses they have young up there- not that she cares, they may not have parents soon.
"In any case" Astrianna continues, "We need to find Tao. We can either look for him or I can make an illusionary signal in the sky. Regardless of how I signal him, the wyverns are probably going to see us. So decide now if you want to kill them or not- I'm confident I can delay their hostilities further if need be."

baldwin the merciful |

The wyren carrying the pig lands on the lighthouse, now perched up high, it drops the pig inside the lighthouse. There are sounds muffled squawking coming from within. Now, both wyrens begin to flex their wings protectively as their young eats.
W1, perception: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (18) + 18 = 36
W2, perception: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22
Your little party has been spotted!

Chell Silves |

"Whatever you decide. We can't take chances with people to defend. Then again, we did promise them food. Maybe they took what promised." She doesn't sound confident that was the case but if it came to a fight she would help.

Astrianna Sparacello |

Astrianna shrugs. "Well, you see, I wasn't going to give them anything, so I'm pissed they went ahead and took it. It's their fault they ate all the deer on the island in the first place."
She waggles her fingers and starts to weave a spell. "I'm signaling Tao. This will be easier than us looking all over the beach for him. Embri, if the wyvern come down here, web the a+$$!$%s down and we'll butcher them. They won't attack the ship- we're too close to their young and they won't leave them undefended." Can you eat wyvern? We'll have to complement our food stores. Hmmm.. baby wyvern could be similar to veal...
The bard casts Silent Image, creating a 100-foot tall arrow 50 feet above the group with lettering across the middle that says TAO. No subtly here, it's pointing right at the party.

Astrianna Sparacello |

I guess I should have specified it's Tao's name, in draconic or runes or whatever it takes to get the point across. If, of course, he can read.
Round 1
Astrianna continues to concentrate on her spell, wanting ample time for Tao to see the illusion and investigate. The bard will hold the spell until it's time to exact revenge on the wyvern, but she has no trouble speaking while simultaneously casting. She calls up to the sorry excuse for a dragon circling above.
bluff, glibness: 1d20 + 20 + 20 ⇒ (8) + 20 + 20 = 48 Subtract whatever modifier you would like to attach for the bluff?
diplomacy: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20 Dice sure are cooperating here.

Chell Silves |

For her part Chell begins shooing the prisoners away from the Wyverns and toward the nearest cover. "Don't worry. You are aren't the fuud. I mean food. Stay down and try to look unappealing though."
Since we aren't doing delayed actions I'll just double move them to cover and wait for now. Gonna cast Obscuring mist over them if things look dangerous.

baldwin the merciful |

RD 1: Wyrens
The first Wyren dive bombs toward the group. Swooping down eyeing it's food source. "Where's the fuud."
The second one takes flight making it's way towards the group. Then a large head emerges from the beacon light, it assumes the perch on the lighthouse.
The sound of chirping and squawking cries can be heard form inside the lighthouse.

Chell Silves |

Once near cover, Chell stands defensively before the others, even Saegen, and waits. Should the situation turn bad she was ready to cast in their defense. "Stay together. Do not leave the fog if they attack."
Full Defense too I guess. If allowed a readied action she'll cast Obscuring Mist if they attack her or the prisoners.

Embrianna |

I'm just waiting to see what those ahead of me in the initiative order do before I state an action. Want to make sure whether or not we are attacking this round.

Astrianna Sparacello |

Sorry. It's been a rough two days.
Round 2
Astrianna keeps the arrow in the air a little longer, to ensure Tao sees it. She begins to hum an arcane tune, conducting the melody with her left hand. "Food's in the hole, we brought a little up..."
The scent of fresh, fatty meat wafts up from the hole Chell just tunneled through the earth. If a wyvern were to look into it, a string of fat pig carcasses appear to dangle from the block and tackle line.
Move action: Maintain Silent Image concentration using Spellsong feat(costs 1 bardic performance)
Standard Action: Cast Major image on hole, bunch o' meat slightly out of wyvern's reach, fill the air with delicious meaty scents. If they interact or you consider smelling interacting, DC 18 will saving throw.
FYI Astri should be at least 20 feet from the hole.

baldwin the merciful |

The closest wyvren takes a deep inhale, sucking in all the juicy meat smell, then lands on the ground then begins to jam his head towards the hole.
DC interaction: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
As it lands and jams his head towards the hole, it's wings flutter defensively. "Traps me....wrench!?"
The second and third wyvren both descend towards the party this round.

Note: One Wvyren has landed on the ground. A second is tangled in webs and hit the ground. The third is divin bombing towards Bri. I don't have a map for this encounter.

Sorrin the Wayward |

Sorrin charges the Wyvern that landed.
A formidable beast, but lacking dignity... No Dragon, you!
Running over uncertain terrain, he falters and his blade slips from his hand.

This is what I miss...

baldwin the merciful |

The rogue charges, but stumbles over a small tree root, and his arms flail wildly as if trying to take flight. Then as if in slow motion his scimitar departs his hand, his grey eyes widen in horror, and he swears he can hear a snicker coming from the bard, as his weapon starts to somersault end-over-end.

Chell Silves |

Diplomacy, or bluffing in this case, seems to have failed. So that meant they were going to fight. Neat. She holds her hand out and small storm appears within. After a second of focus it explodes outwards to cover the area in mist, effectively hiding the civilians. "Stay here," she says before moving to the edge of the mist to see what is going on.
Cast Obscuring Mist and move to edge to take advantage of miss chance.

Astrianna Sparacello |

Active effects: Dirge of Doom, Haste (+1 ac, +1 hit, +1 reflex, +1 hit)
Round 3
Astrianna sighs, and stops concentrating on the illusion. "Wench? You teach that witty Talden to yourself?" The major image will persist for 3 more rounds.
The bard snaps her fingers to start a beat, simultaneously casting a spell. She starts to sing a haunting tune in Draconic about the futility of those trying to become gods. Time appears to slow for the group as she finishes her spell.
Move action: Begin Dirge of Doom- all enemies within 30 feet of Astrianna become Shaken.
Standard Action:Cast Haste on party (+1 AC, reflex, attack)

Embrianna |

Bri will try her luck again with another casting of webbing. She aims for the wyvern who is dive bombing her and then moves away from her current position. That why, the (hopefully) soon to be falling creature will not land on her.
Reflex dc 17 for the web

Astrianna Sparacello |

Correct, no save. Any enemy within the 30' radius becomes shaken. They lose shaken if they move out of the 30' radius, and gain it again if they move back in, etc.

baldwin the merciful |

I don't have battle map prepped for this one, plus the 3d aspect is bit of pain to map out. Two of the wyrvens are caught in the Astri's radius. The third on is not, and that is the one swooping heading towards Bri.
reflex from Bri's spell: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
The dive bombing dragon understands the danger that can spring from the witch's finger tips, and it instinctively rolls to the left to avoid the sticky web.

Astrianna Sparacello |

Active effects: Haste (9 rounds), Dirge of Doom (30ft)
Round 4
Astrianna removes her bow from its case, knocking a magical arrow. She draws a sight on the dive-bombing wyvern and tries to put an arrow in it.
Free action: Maintain Dirge of Doom
Move action: Draw longbow
Standard action: Attack the dive-bombing wyvern
longbow attack, haste, +1 fire arrow: 1d20 + 10 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 10 + 1 + 1 = 30
damage, +1 fire arrow: 1d8 + 1 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 1 + (6) = 11

Chell Silves |

Chell leaves the safety of the cloud to get close enough to the fighting. Her eyes glow blue once again as she calls on Quell's power. 2 bolts of lightning appear above the closest wyverns, coming down to strike hard.
