Also watched a hilarious movie last night- Wild target. Excellent British comedy, and the character Emily Blunt plays reminds me of Astrianna so freaking much that I laughed all the harder.

I want to do some scrolls but I don't have much money to use and I am not sure which ones to do. I was thinking of the standard buff's for str, dex, and con maybe, resist energy, lesser restoration, delay poison (we need a wand of this), Summon monster 1 and 2, Magic Circle, Dispel, stone shape. What do you guys think. Since we are holding off for a day in game I can do a number of them.

Usually I like scrolls that have utility functions, like lesser restoration, or stone shape. That way you can keep your prepared spells combat-focused and still be able to channel into healing spells. Go clerics!

I play alot of clerics it's my favorite class along with rogue to play. utilty spells are great to load up on, things that "may" be needed like lesser restoration, cure blindness/deafness, neutralize poison, or buffs that basically frees up your daily spells for more offensive spells so you can participate in the combat rather than being a simply healbots. just my .02.

I agree. I added Redd and warehouse to the game it's not in written adventure and when I came across that satchel for gear, I was like that is way cool and so appropriate for a drug seller/smuggler.

FYI: The RC book has a short adventure called: the Midnight Drop and it has some short vignettes that tie together. It tracks like this: 1) approached to buy drugs or you run across pushers; 2) check out the Barnacle and come across Garreg. 3) Midnight drop at the dock (this can come about through your investigation or other sources including the dragoons) 4) Bonegnaw's cove.

I added the the Redd scenario since the drop went awry.

there are some cool items out there. You have to make sure you comply with the stacking limitations. Stacking is still one of those frustrating rules with game, I wish they made a simple chart to clarify what stacks with what. I wonder if anyone created a guide on one of the boards?

Chell as far as money for the creation of scrolls I'm sure the party will spot you the necessary resources, especially since they are selling some items, to make sure you can create scrolls for the parties benefit.

My post in the gameplay thread that outlined our loot selling was done at half sell price.

Again, 331 gp 9sp and 4cp share for everyone, that should be enough to make some scrolls Chell?

Astri is going to keep the ring of protection, considering no one saw her pocket it.

Torgue you want the amulet of natural armor? You have a lower AC than Sorrin.

That will definitely make a difference. I am thinking lesser restoration for 150 and Delay Poison for 150. I want to also have another Remove Disease on hand but that costs 375 and is therefore outside my price range unless it is the only one I make.

A wand of lesser restoration would be awesome but costs 4500. I could make it but it would take 4 days unless we use partial charge rules. Like instead of 4500 for 50 charge, pay 2250 for 25 charges.

Astri is going to be spending light for a while (uh... relatively speaking) because she wants her mithril breastplate 3,000gp to go on it. Then there's the +1 enchantment that's another 1,000gp, plus a matching, custom-made explorer's outfit for like 300gp, and to top it off one of those super +2 to bluff, intimidate, and diplomacy hats for another 1,000gp.

So much money to spend, so little money on hand...

I just had a super idea...

Baldwin, (I know I keep doing this, sorry) can I add on to the list of Astri's purchases a scroll of [url=http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/t/true-strike]True Strike[/ur]? It will be 25 gp (probably 30 with Sam's damn markup)

Party- Astri will be coating some of her arrows in the blue whinnis poison in an attempt to knock Bonegnaw out so we can capture him for the Dragoons. True strike + poisoned arrow = success!

Well, probably not. Gnolls have naturally large fort saves and in order to achieve the secondary effect of blue whinnis poison (unconsciousness) he will have to fail his save twice. So it probably won't work, but I figure why not try. There might be something even nastier to use it on...

I just realized we could have made this a lot easier. There is a spell called track ship that could have been really handy. All we needed was a piece of the ship and we could find it on a nautical map.

I was thinking of using Badger's Ferocity with Sorrin and maybe Astrianna because of their high crit weapons. Then I read that it only works on one weapon per person which makes it less awesome and the 35ft range even less awesome. Thoughts?

Concentration. You just have to stay in range of the spell.

The problem with spells like that Chell is concentration. It makes you tied to one action and sucks away future actions for your character. You are basically agreeing that everyone else get to have fun in combat and you are willing to take a back seat.

Concentration:

The spell lasts as long as you concentrate on it. Concentrating to maintain a spell is a standard action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity. Anything that could break your concentration when casting a spell can also break your concentration while you're maintaining one, causing the spell to end. See concentration.

You can't cast a spell while concentrating on another one. Some spells last for a short time after you cease concentrating.

Then all I need is 35000 for a lesser Rod of Quicken Spell:) There is also Quicken Channel or Fast Channel that turns it into a movement action if I expend an extra use. But yes, my options are limited if I use it. I am support oriented as it is. Unless I can research a way to make it rounds/level like Weapons Against Evil. Can I do that?

It's a gamble. Let's try it next level, when Sorrin has 2 attacks! Sorta like doubling down at the beginning of the fight.

Unless Selective Channel is involved, channel is tricky. Concentration keeps you from casting Fog! :)
