Things are better on my end, especially with holiday looming just over the horizon at the end of this week ;-). I will check in after that and see if I want to commit to PbP again.

Hey guys! So Mahasi offered to run a new module for us, Realm of the Fellknight Queen. I think that is a generous offer and as suggested above, I want to run the next Thornkeep level, the Dark Menagerie, beforehand for two reasons.

1. It is the easiest of the Thornkeep levels and running that at level 7 will be laughably easy.

2. If Deaglan were to join us again, then he will be level 6 for Fellknight Queen and thus able to play it with us :)

That said, we still need at least 1 more person. Do any of you know of someone who may be interested?

Yah, working on that.. but seems HeroLabs has Sorc Unchained version as well as rogue.. Not sure how (if) that would affect taking another lvl of sorc. Still undecided.. 1 more lvl 1 spell.. or more sneaky heh.

Sorceror Unchained? From the alternate magic?

Regardless, the 4th level of rogue to get the Debilitating Strike ability seems to be better to me since you tend to melee things. On the other hand, you do need to hit that 4th level of sorceror so your magical abilities will improve greatly.

Finally, I do suggest upgrading to a mithral chain shirt. Better AC, and if you get the Arcane Armor Training feat, you can then cast your spells without any spell failure!

@Varian: Have your alchemist friend PM me or post in this thread so we can do our Thornkeep stuff!

I'd like to spend 4000 to get the Noqual shortsword (dammit, should have made a rapier) enchanted to +1, 225 for the wand of chill touch (since my acid arrow wand ran out), 1000 for the bracers, and 4000 for the belt of dex. :)

9225 spent.. leaving me 2039 gp Ugh.. I so wanted that ring of prot.. heh.

If that's ok, I'll adjust and add to the char sheet.

1000 for bracers? Are you referring to bracers of armor? Note that the bracers armor bonus does not stack with regular armor.

Also, what weapon type did you choose with Finesse Training? It's not listed in your stats.

Hrm.. good point. Since I want to take your advice on the mithral chain (once I get the feat to make it worthwhile), I'll skip on the bracer then :) Hrm.. but then a 10% spell fail isn't all *that* bad. Oh wait.. this is my invoke of the dicebot we're talking.. but it'd look soooo chic. hah.

@Shilyn: As noted before, make next level Sorceror, then you can qualify to have your level 7 feat be Arcane Armor Training, which allows you to reduce ASF % by 10 as a swift action. So between that and mithral, no spell failure!

I do not think I could run the Fellknight Queen in that time frame. I tend to run a little on the slower side anyways, even without it being a module.

Thanks y'all. I'll try to post as I can, but wanted you to know why I haven't been doing so much lately.

I'm actually in the IT field. Been in computers for over 30 years, but as far as programming, I'm only entry-level (college classes but no experience) as most of my time was in mainframes / tech support. I have faith that the Lord will provide :)

I think the post I just made can be used as a template for my actions:

if hp > 5: attack viciously
if hp <=5: defend and hope for the best

if Deaglan can step away he will do so and cast cure moderate wounds for 2d8+4, replacing spiritual weapon. He does not trust his concentration skill enough to cast while threatened.

If they intend that for liberating command they should really say "target one other creature". Otherwise, its simply analogous to enlarge person. Poor wording on their part.

Well, if someone else casts it, can I at least use the escape artist roll :)
