"I'd prefer being sober for the next couple of contests, as they do have some prize money."

Freya walks with Kit to the bar and orders both of them a drink on her.

Kit accepts his drink and looks about at the festivities with Freya.

Ruby

Ruby speaks up some
"I think I'll do the tug of war for my first contest."

Freya looks down to her drink and to her thoroughly unmuscled arms and says "I think I'll sit that one out."

"Oh, Ruby! That'll be so much fun. I'll help you."

Hashar steps over the passed out man at the bar, "Give me a Dragon ale, and what ever this proud fighter wants." The half-orc motions to Alya.

As he waits for the Ale, he responds to Ruby "Little Pup, who are you facing?"

Aaron woke from his more horrific than normal dream. He stumbled out to the bar from the backroom and sat next to the half orc and giant of a woman. "Water please." he says to the bartender.

Perhaps drinking so much isn't in my forte he thinks to himself.

Kit pipes up as well, "Kit will help in the war-tug!" He smiles at Freya and motions for her to come along.

Barkeep:

The barkeep replies to Aaron
"One water, here you go lad."

The barkeep replies to Hashar
"One dragon ale for you, and ....."

Ayla replies to the barkeep

"I'll just have water, unless you have a wine cooler."

Barkeep:

The barkeep replies to Ayla
"Oh one of these low alcohol, fruity drinks, one coming right up."

Ruby

Ruby replies to Hashar's question
"So far I have, the pretty lady, and Kit on my team."

Ayla politely and gently asks Ruby
"who are your opponents, little one."

Ruby replies Ayla's query
"I believe it's the Grath twins, and a number of their patrol friends."

Freya giggles at Kit. "I'll watch from the sidelines, thanks. But I'll cheer for you!"

Hashar nods to the bartender and accepts the ale then after taking a drink of the ale, he comments "Those lads need to be taught a lesson in defeat. You have my strength little one." He raises up his ale to her and takes another big swig.

Ayla thinks
"If Hashar hadn't stepped up so quick, I could of made a few silver, oh well."

Ayla replies to Ruby
"Well then I'll join as well."

so we have Ruby, Kit, Hashar and Ayla, did I miss anyone?

Feeling not up to games at all, Aaron smiles at Ruby and says, "I'll cheer you on from the sidelines young lady."

everyone gets to the Tug-of-war game
Grath twins and pals on one side and Ruby, Kit, Hashar, Lillian and Ayla on the other.

Announcer:

The announcer announces with energy and vigor
"We have a great Tug-Of-War match here folks;
Grath twins and company on one side vs Ruby, Kit, Lillian and two competitors in the tournament Hashar, and Ayla."

Kit shouts back. "Kit was in Tournament too! Need look down more often!"

Announcer:

The announcer replies
"Whoops, sorry about that Kit, I was distracted during that fight....."

Kit huffed in approval and returned to his place on the rope.

Freya cheers from the sideline "Boo ignorant human; yay muscular Halfling!"

Lillian's plan is to begin singing, and attempt to fascinate one of the men on the opposing team. It is a DC 14 will save. I'll leave it up to the DM if that just gives our side a plus, or completely negates the poor sot who is fascinated by Lillian.

Hashar smirks at the other team and them points to Ruby, "The little one did most of the work, must possess the blood of a giant or at least a bear." He gives a gut buster laugh, then turns to Ayla "Time to drink now? Or more contests to go win?"

Kit beams proudly when the team wins. "Victory for Ruby!" He shouts to the crowd.

"Then let's who can drink like a fish?"

"Not since my days at the academy but I can certainly try!"

Hashar proceeds to drink his night away...
