I can't move the avatar on the map. Please move Mellany to Q7.

Since they have a no names policy, Mel will start by saying they don't have to answer this one if they don't want to: Are they all in Egorian?
What do they know about Kore?

Mellany shakes her head and smiles at Gunser. "Been a while since I worked a street corner," she says quietly. "As long as I'm holding your hat, sailor on shore leave and the girl in this port would be a better play than me chatting up random clients. Otherwise, people might think you were my pimp."

Then she hears the commotion upstairs. "OK, Cat. Ride's over. Get yourself someplace safe till this is over, but don't wander too far." Once the cat leaps out from her cloak, Mellany takes a position in the angle of a wall.

"Do you ever get that feeling you're being watched...?"

The paladin raised a brow with a frown, his eyes glancing between his companions as a tension washed over them. He slowly drew his longsword from his hip sheath and unslung his shield from beneath his cloak.

After several minutes of waiting a head is poked around the corner of the south-eastern approach to the alley. There is a further delay, and then things start happening.

From the eastern, western and south-western entrances appear three tall trolls, carrying nasty clubs. They look a lot like this.

From the south-eastern entrance, an odd parade walks towards you before stopping. At its head is a large quadrupedal blue beast, with scales, arms and four legs. It looks similar to a Centaur, but with no distinct head, instead its front-facing eyes and sharp-toothed mouth is seemingly embedded in the body. Riding it is tall human clad in dirty metal armour, holding what the weapon-savvy around you recognize as a glaive Perception DC 18 to notice he's carrying it awkwardly, as if unused to its weight and position. Flanking the creature from behind are three more humans in leather armour, longswords drawn.

The mounted human, who appears to be the leader, somehow manages to swagger whilst riding a creature and calls out "Well well well, what have we here then? Is it that time of year again, when the scum start getting ideas above their lowly pathetic station? Or has another demon spawn with allusions of gentry managed to hire a few 'thugs' and take on their betters?" He notices Mellany and gazes at her somewhat disturbingly. "Though you lady aren't thuggy at all oh no... not at all..."

Bring 'em up, an' they can make their words, show us the justice o' jumping our Jimini, there. Or they could be about makin' their apology. Or I'll be takin' my oar up side their heads!"

The young man's cheeks flash red with anger before he just manages to calm himself. Raising a hand, he contorts three fingers into an odd gesture and points it at Gunser. "Sadly I don't speak scum so I missed most of that, but I've decided I don't care. You be quiet now."

"Draw steel boys," the nobleman warned the motley crew. He found himself staring down a troll that entered through the western alley and could see they were flanked from the other alleys. This isn't good, he thought to himself. He frowned and glanced behind himself to his tiefling ally who could - worse come to worse - end up with his tail on the wall. Despite his hatred for the wicked and devils he knew that Blast was not inherently evil despite his heritage. He raised his shield up in defense and dropped the visor on his helmet.

...He receives it. Blast quickly draws and mixes some vials from his pouch before whipping the glass-vialed concoction at the man on the beast.

Thrown Bomb Attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18 (penalty for range)
Where the bomb lands if it misses: 1d8 ⇒ 1
Bomb Damage on a direct hit: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Plus catch on fire: 1d6 damage per round until they take a full-round action to make a DC 14 Reflex save. Rolling on the ground gives a +2.
Everyone else takes 5 splash damage, but they get a DC 14 Reflex save for half.

The explosion hits the rider right in the face and sets his clothes on fire. He falls off his mount and starts rolling around on the ground (no save till next round). The shattered bomb also sends sprays of fire in every direction, sending his guards and mount sprawling. As napalm and glass gets in the three guards' eyes, the three trolls shimmer and vanish away into thin air.

Double move from N4 to N12.

Aleksandyr was startled when Blast whipped his arm back and hurled a bottle at the man riding the strange beast. Well, there went diplomacy... Miraculously his aim was amazing as the man was toppled from his mount in a blaze of fire. The paladin glanced from the alley as the troll vanished and he felt caught off guard that he had been fooled they were real. "That's it, lets do this," Aleksandyr declared as he moved to engage the group of oppressors.

As I read the map, a 5' SE step sets Gunser up for a 30' South move past flat-footed enemies to engage Milord GrinFool. If I am off the mark in some way that's obvious to Gunser, please advise. Otherwise...

"Strike your colors, and save your throats!", Gunser negotiated, in his preferred style, leavened with violence. It was scarce a dozen long paces to the witch-man, and only one left when Gunser'd finished his 'parley'. He swung the leather-bladed oar through the air, bound for the sprawled flaming posterior of His Arrogance, Milord GrinFool.

Staff/oar +5 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Relentless Footing (Ex):

: As a swift action, you can add 10 feet to your land speed. This increase counts as an enhancement bonus, and it affects your jumping distance as normal for increased speed. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom bonus (minimum 1).

Blast seems almost bewildered that his throw even hit. Well, that was impressive, he thinks, but while his logical brain tries to catch up to the situation, his more combat ready side is already moving. His tail still holding the cane, Blast moves forward and slings his crossbow around, taking aim at the thug on his right, and fires. Move as I did on map, drawing crossbow while moving by virtue of BAB, firing as a standard action at the thug at N15.

Crossbow attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 2

Blast curses as the bolt flies wide. Guess that was my luck for the day.

Gunser's oar connects, and you hear a dull 'CRACK' from his panicking body.

Their turn.

While the rider screams and puts himself out, his great blue mount blinks its eyes and suddenly its gaze takes on a much more disturbingly... intelligent... cast. "Leave that idiot alone." It intones in a deep voice as it turns to face Gunser. "Let's kill these bastards. FOR KORE!"

The second guard suddenly begins warbling a foul tavern drinking song, sending his friends' feet tramping as they turn to their enemies:
I Sit on the floor and pick my nose
and think of dirty things
Of deviant dwarfs who suck their toes
and elves who drub their dings..."

The first guard points a finger at Aleksandyr and makes a rude gesture Will save please. The third raises his sword and slashes at Gunser.

Flanking him from behind, the blue centaur horror rips into Gunser likewise.

Jelani's hammer digs deep into the guard's gut and nearly cuts in him half, exiting his body carrying a small but significant number of his organs.

Jelani, the creature has reach so I think you provoke an AOO when moving from M13 to M14? Am I mistaken? And Valerios I think you provoke one too.

Mellany's instinct is to rush to Gunser's side and invoke healing powers to bind the terrible wound he suffered. But she sees the blue creature's vicious claws and realizes she'd be ripped to shreds before she got to the sailor.

"כמה זמן אתם שוכבים שם, אתה עצל? מתי לקום מהשינה שלך?" She conjures a spell to make her enemies slumber.

Sleep 4HD worth of creatures DC14 centered on O17. If I understand how a 10 foot radius works with squares, that gets guard 2 and big blue nasty, but not Gunser or the idiot.

I'm going to roll Aleksandyr's will save from last round for him to save time.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

As Jelani's hammer takes out his guts, the guard gives a wide grin as Aleksandyr's head snaps back as if struck. The guard the guard points a finger at Mellany before falling, dead. As he hits the ground, Aleksandyr's eyes glaze over before he turns to face Mellany and his gaze sharpens. Letting out a girlish scream of joy- "Mellany! Darling!", he runs straight at her and tries to kiss her passionately on the mouth and embrace her.

Unnatural Lust at work. Aleksandyr, you have to 'passionately kiss or caress (Mellany)' for your action this round.

At seeing the serious paladin run and begin to kiss Mellany Jelani laughs aloud. "You're the only one who wasn't looking when she stripped, guess it had a greater affect on you than you'd imagined." Turning to the blue critter, he says "You're next ugly."

Jelani knows nothing about magic. :P

One from Gunser when the creature rose from prone? It was 'crawling' while playing at being horsey, yes? And has risen to 'standing'? Milord GrinFool might be standing soon, too. But then, Gunser might not be, soon. :(

Mellany tries to figure out why the heck Aleksandyr of all people is suddenly groping her now of all times. It's got to have something to do with the guard's action.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
It would only allow an AoO if Mellany threatened the square Aleksandyr is in. Since she's unarmed at the time of the *cough* attack, she doesn't threaten. Just my quick ruling.

@Gunser- Nope, the creature is a quadruped, it counts as standing.
@Mellany- Correct with the AOO, and you recognize the spell as 'Unnatural Lust'.

Blast watches in horror as the blue creature claws Gunser. Replacing his crossbow on his back (move action), he draws and throws another of his mixtures, this time a less volatile one. "Look out!" he calls to his companions before tossing the vial.

Bomb at square O-15 of the blue creature: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Where it lands if it misses: 1d8 ⇒ 7 in P16, with the downed guard 2
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5, 5 splash damage

Blast grins as his aim once again strikes true, and the glass and flame explode across the beast's body, catching the downed guard in the process. His tail brings the sword cane in front of him, and he draws it, readying himself to enter close combat.

Blast's blast rocks the creature slightly but he otherwise shakes it off, the sleeping guard starts as fire washes over him but he just as quickly is clubbed into unconsciousness by a nasty piece of glass.

I can tumble if you like. I don't think he passed through a threatened one. I diagnaled to column R and then straight "down" from there.

"Here, critter, I promised you my oar...", Gunser growls, driving will into the wyroot weapon. The oarblade planes in the air...

...slapping against the creature with a solid 'THOK!'. Gunser laughs, and dances back away from the thing, to where he's surrounded. By inconvenienced foemen. "STRIKE yer damn colors! Surrender, 'fore we strike ye down!"
