By the way on the mundane items would that include special materials non- magical?
i.e ( cold iron, mithrel, alchemic silver etc.)

Within the Gunsmithing feat, it states this at the bottom:

Special: If you are a gunslinger, this feat grants the following additional benefit. You can use this feat to repair and restore your initial, battered weapon. It costs 300 gp and 1 day of work to upgrade it to a masterwork firearm of its type.

Would it be cool to use part of the 3000 gold to do this?

I'm just a player, but...

Aiden: I did. Wyroot.

Javell: That's pretty clear-cut.

Again, I'm just a player, but I think you're both good with what you asked.

@Aiden- what Gunser said. And I really need some background on your character before I can even think of accepting him. I'll go root through my Cheliax book.

@Javell- I'm cool with it.

@Aiden:

Tieflings
Tieflings enjoy an unusual status in Cheliax, though
perhaps “enjoy” is the wrong word. Chelish diabolists
view tieflings as subordinate to humans. Tieflings are
seen as lesser beings, born of human fallibility or devilish
trickery. Noble houses hide tiefling heirs away, ashamed
of their very existence, or reluctantly allow them some
control over the family business (usually if there is no
other reliable heir available).
Because of this tarnished history, most tieflings in
Cheliax carry around hatred and resentment in their
hearts. Some strive for greatness as a way to prove their
worth and show up those who failed to appreciate their
talents. Others embrace their heritage and become fiends
in mortal form, running illegal operations, thieving,
murdering, or worse. Most fall somewhere between
these extremes, struggling to find their path among the
shadowed streets.

From the Council of Thieves players guide.

Ill have a story for you by tonight to tie me in the slave trade of cheliax I escape by gaining there trust by thievery, murder, smuggling for the house of thrune. There plan was to possess my body with a dark spirit when I reached the age of 18. They gave me these skills to do there bidding and gain more power in the cheliax empire. My goal is to bring down this horrid empire and destroy this house. [ooc] goal is to redeem my sins by going into cleric later and become LG to purify my soul and this corrupt world.

Or tie with anothers story. I will find a good story by tonight.

Sovereign Court

Noting interest will have a healer concept up later tonight.

Back story :

Spoiler:
when i was really young my parents abandon me. I found myself living on the streets fighting for survival by any means necessary. I would pickpocket nobles and i saw a unusual looking noble or so i thought and imagined what luxury he had in his pocket. I wiggled through the crowd where he was and snatched the first thing i could find in his pocket, and disappeared back into the crowd. I looked to what i had in a corner and as soon as i did "man" from the shadows snatched me up and threw me into a cell where i was with other kids they were all frighten, being separated from their parents. being calm and collective i felt around and found a secret door out where a the man had a blanket and some food waiting for me. All he said was "Welcome to the shadow". He prepared me for my training he started me off simple stealing and gathering intelligence. I was small enough that i could fit in small places and get through crowds easily, all they ever gave me was a small dagger to defend myself so i always had to be agile. He never let me go anywhere for "fear" that i would be recognized from a mission or something, but i didn't care or realized that i was his slave he never treated me that way but in hindsight always being in a dark room to keep me well adjusted until a mission then getting a hot meal and a warm bed was just keeping me as a slave with small benefits. As i got older the jobs would be more complex go into building steal artifacts, scrolls, or documents. I finally got into murdering people for my master. He was everything to me a father mentor, friend. Until my last two missions the first one was to kill this target was a nobleman's daughter he has been stepping on "my masters", the man/tiefling that i grew to be a father figure in my life, associates feet and threatening him. This was one of my last tests that i completed without fail. On my last mission was to finally kill the noble himself I scoped the place like i normally do and prepare like i always and as i crept in after the lights were out. i got to the bed before i was ambushed guards were all around! Somehow of i got away and guards where everywhere all my normal hiding spots. When i got to my clear point were i was meeting up with my master all that was there were guards waiting for me. So i made my way back to the nobles house and found that my master and the noble were in on it together they set me up! i knew i had to get out and the only way was the woods outside the city of Egorian. I got lost for about a day were i stumbled accross an older man at a camp fire my first instinct was to slit his throat, and take everything he had but i must of been too hungry or was off my game he said in a soft but calming voice "come get something to eat you look hungry." I slowly sat down and ate with him, (roidrages character). He opened up to me and was kind the next morning i was out in the open and felt better than ever before i decided to stay at his side. With my mission to get back at the noble and my Ex-master...
Roidrage helped me out and he liked your post that me and him will have a story that mingles together a little bit he will continue the story a bit more. is that ok?

Shadow Lodge

Looks at Adamantine Rapier. Quickly hides said rapier.

"What? Special materials? I'm not sure who told you that ..."

we connected, me an roidrage's character, really fast he told me about his struggles and how he found salvation through gorum god of strength, battle and weapons. Naturally this sparked my interest and I believe both gorum and him suite me well.

Hear is my character, all my stats are on my alias and here is my background. It's a little long but I kind of went a little long with it. Enjoy.

Background:
Born to the farmlands east of Egorian, Orwen Blackburn was born to a long line of Marshals that watched over the stretch of land. Orwen followed the family line and began his training early and had a goal to take over his father position in leading this local chapter of law enforcement. As he grew up he took to the job with gusto, all the townsfolk liked him and felt safe when Orwen was around. The young Cheliexian was doing well until the day he ran into Paraduke Winterish’s son Pavo Winterish. Various nobles had started trouble before, but Orwen’s father always told his son to just watch over them and never get in there way. This time was different Pavo wanted some new entertainment for his trip and had his guards grab the local girl Aula Krupt, the dairy farmers daughter, Orwen first tried to intercede diplomatically. The guards shoved him away and told him to scram; Orwen drew his blade and demanded the two release young Aula. Pavo laughed from the carriage and ordered his guards to teach this peasant guard a lesson. Orwen held his own for a little bit, he broke the nose of the first guard and wounded the other, though the number of the enemy out did the bravery of Orwen. As the stars blurred his vision, the guards stripped his sword out of his hand. Pavo felt a bit of mercy and wished for his personal guards to just cripple Orwen, as they smashed Orwen’s right knee he couldn’t hear his own cries. All he could think of is young Aula crying from the carriage being drowned out by the diabolic laughter of the Paraduke’s son as they rode away. Then the darkness took over….

Orwen woke up days later in his family home; his father gave him a look of both relief and distain. ”I told you not to bother the nobles, there above us!” He retorted to his son. ”But father they were kidnapping the dair….” He is cut off by his father. ”Well hero, you nearly got yourself killed and disgraced your family.” Orwen looks confused, ”Disgraced how? I was only following the laws?” Dale Blackburn (Orwen’s father), ”You’re the first son of Blackburn to be dismissed from the force, just be glad they didn’t give you jail time.” As the pain from his leg reminds him of what happened, and stops his retort. Avoiding his father’s gaze Orwen grudgingly growls, ”Letting these noble dogs do what they please is the true crime, that’s our families true disgrace.” That’s the last time Orwen talked with his father.
As the months passed Orwen recouped but, his knee never healed correctly. The limp kept him from going back to his training and led to his drinking. He let himself sink in a deep depression, never finding solace in the endless string of bottles. Orwen would still be a drunk if those hammer bangs in the background didn’t wake him up. He started to come too, as the haze started to clear he realized he was in an alley. Trying to drink from the bottle in his hand, nothing left typical. Looking around for the closest bar, he sees her. Aula’s mother, Fran Krupt, Orwen drags himself to her and the women stops as he sees the shamble of a man coming towards her. She recoils at first then looks closer, ”Orwen? Is that you?” The silence of Orwen is broken as tears start to run from his eyes and he tries to get out, ”Sorr……I am…..soooo…..soorrryy…….I tirrred to sav….” It takes a moment for Fran to make out what the broken man was saying and sad look comes over her face. ”DON’T! There is no need to apologize, you were the only one brave enough to try and stop the Paraduke’s son from taking my dear Aula.” The strong woman yells at the broken man. [B]”Wha? But I didn’t save… her…..I wasn’t strong enough….” Fran shakes her head at Orwen, ”You were strong, you stood up to them. As you told me they outnumbered you, if you wish for my forgiveness then get your strength back and become the man that stood up for my daughter even though the odds were against you.” She shakes her head at him, and says ”When you get that strength, come see me and I will forgive you. As for now, what you have become disgusts me.” She looks away before her tears welled up and marched out of side. As she left Orwen was left in almost silence, just the ringing of the hammer hitting the anvil over and over again. The noise was soothing it relaxed Orwen and spoke out to him. As he crawled towards it the heat from the back door of the smithy felt good, and gave him the strength to pull himself up and ask the blacksmith ”You need an apprentice?” With that he fell over.
Gorn Flintstep was more than a blacksmith, he was one of the few practicers of Gorum in the country, and he knew metal like no other. That embarrassing entrance of Orwen made the gruff Ulfen laugh and he took the young man in as his apprentice. It was pity at first but when Gorn saw how Orwen worked with the metal and saw how it spoke to him. He slowly told him of the Iron lord and how he grants strength to those willing to wield it. Years went by and Orwen built up his strength and started feeling like his old self again. As he drew strength from the teaching s of the Iron Lord, they gave him back his speed though only when he held a metal weapon. Feeling good, he decided it was time to visit the Krupt farm and make peace with his failure. When he arrived to the dairy farm, the family was in morning. That’s when he found out that a few days ago Aula’s body was found on the streets of Egorian with various wounds and ritual scarring. That was the last straw; he told the family that he would bring Pavo to justice even if he had to dish it out himself. He gathered his items and only telling the Krupt family and Gorn what he was doing and if he doesn’t return in 5 years to tell his family what he did. So he traveled to Egorian….
He spent weeks watching Paraduke Winterish’s various estates, trying to figure a way in to get his justice. One night he saw a young lad crawling through the window, he noticed a lot more guards on the street that night and it came together when the boy rushed out of the window with local watch whistles going off. Orwen figured the young man might be an ally, though he lost the lad and decided to take off since the extra guards were running around no sense of any of them remembering him. So he went off to the edge of the Barrow woods to be safe. He decided to cook up a pot of stew and began sharpening his various blades. When that lad stumbled a crossed his camp, obviously it was a divine action. The young man held back his story for most of the night, but then started to talk to Orwen. He found out his name was Diran Shadow and learned that he was after Paraduke Winterish as well, and it fueled his hatred for that family even more. They spent a year traveling around Cheliax to lay low, to gain all that was needed to bring the Paraduke and his little slave assassin ring to justice. As they gathered the info they made their move on the estate in Egroian, but were side tracked by young attackers. As Orwen and Diran fought them off they were overrun by the city watch and suddenly they were going to jail on assault since the weapons of the attackers happened to disappear. Now our two seekers of justice were sent to prison….

Casey Jones- please report to discussion, would like to welcome you to the game.

Diran Shadow and Orwen Blackburn- I am sorry but I would like to split you up. Diran, because I am a bit of a writing nerd I tend to demand quite a high standard of spelling, grammar and english/writing ability and I am afraid that while Orwen has met that standard, from your Backstory and other posts I don't think you have. If you would like to try to re-apply I could give you a run-down of my issues but for now I am only willing to accept Orwen.

Apologies if I cause any offence.

It's fine

I decided to rewrite my story it is similar but more descriptive. I tried to keep my spelling, punctuation, and grammar into more consideration. I apologize sometimes my brain jumbles things around and it's hard to understand what I'm trying to convey. I hope this ones a little better...

Back story:

When I was just a wee lad of 8yrs old I had lost my parents in Egorian at the market place. I searched everywhere after the crowds cleared for the day. I was tired scared and hungry. Some older kids, mostly dress as street rats but one in fine material, found me laying on a bench in the middle of the square and started harassing me."hey kid lost your parents" another chimed up "maybe his parents are dead you heard about that murder earlier this afternoon." the leader sparked up" yeah, maybe they are laying in a ditch and got what they deserve because they are poor scum. Your scum too you don't even deserve to live." all the other kids laughed one said "you tell him Pavo!" I was crying when i heard this I got up and kicked Pavo and tried to flee. Needless to say they caught up to me pushed me to the ground and started to kick me repeatedly. I was blacking in an out bruises and blood flowing and burning on my skin. The kids eventually left me there I thought i was going to die. As i was fading in and out a man with red eyes came to me picked me up and all was dark again.. When I woke all was still dark I didn't know where I was or how brought me here. All i knew was my body was bandaged every day a man with red eyes came in to the pitch black room and said "open your mouth" he fed me everyday The only words that could escape my mouth were "thank you". All i could do in this dark hell of a place was think about what those kids said I cried most days. Eventually i could feed my self but the only things i would say to him was "thank you". I was too scared to say anything to him for those red eyes scared me and my voice always ran away when i did want to say something. Later I had the courage to say something to him and all that could make it out was "why?". He said, "I found you quite interesting. You have a strong spirit and it seems you might have a quality i want." This scared me more than ever.On my alone time I had an epiphany that those kids were right my parents died they didn't want me I should of died but i didn't I'm better than them I can make it on my own. Since I've been in this room for what felt like eternity i was beginning to relying on my hearing smell and touch to get around and walk but i could never understand where he came from. one day I heard a chime before he walked in I knew that was my way out, but at the same time he was nothing but kind to me. It was just a feeling I had, those eyes and the way he said "you might have a quality I want". I took a day really concentrating on where he came from and that chime and it hit me the door opens toward me at the end of the bed when he rings the bell. Still bruised i waited for at night before he came in i fashioned twine from my clothing around a some straw from my bedding. I positioned it as best as i could, and on my last meal we finally had a chat. "You know I've helped you get better for a little over a week now. Im sure by the end of the week you could go out and find your parents" I said to him they died they didn't matter I don't matter, but I will make something of myself Ill make those kids pay." In time but I have bigger plans for you!, with a devilish smile. "Get used to this hole your my puppet from now on!"as he walked away he opened the door and i pulled the twine so that the straw would keep the door open hoping it wouldn't break. I finished my meal and got up and started heading to the door. My heart pumping with adrenaline felt were the straw was, it worked! I used all the strength I could muster and got the door opened i started sneaking up the stair where it started to get brighter my eyes hear my teeth clentched and I froze like a deer in the woods. There he was at the top of the stairs waiting for me with clothes and a dagger. My heart stopped. All he said was[b] "Welcome to the shadow". After that I was free to roam the first floor of the building but the majority of my day i spent in the dark. He prepared me for my training he started me off simple stealing and gathering intelligence. He was teaching me his trade like a father does to his son. I was small enough that i could fit in small places and get through crowds easily, all they ever gave me was a small dagger to defend myself so i always had to be agile. He never let me go anywhere for "fear" that i would be recognized from a mission or something. i was his slave to do all his small dealing and get a leg on other competitors marks Always two days before a mission he would keep me in my dark room to keep my senses high. Never realizing that i was his lap dog I thought I was just learning a trade and that I was going to move up in the order of the shadow. I was wrong Years went by the jobs would be more complex go into building steal artifacts, scrolls, or documents, but always the same two days before a mission into the dark room. I figured out what he was doing in those two days I got out of the room for a brief moment and stood at the bottom of the stairs he was in a meeting of some sort the only words I could make out was Mr. Winterish.. I was getting bored with the old missions and was being treated still like a kid so demanded that I get a better mission, He smiled and said your ready I can see it in your eyes. I wanted to please him he was my master in my trade, a father mentor, and my friend. My first kill was a nobleman's daughter this nobleman had been pressing "my masters" associates' feet and black mail. This was one of my last tests that i completed without fail. A week went by but the associate wasn't pleased they said We must reign a shadow on that whole house. On my last mission was to finally kill the noble himself I scoped the place like I normally do and prepare like always. I waited for light to go out before creeping in. I was flying through the place where i came to the door i opened it with ease, with all the practice Ive done before. As i approached the bed i was ambushed guards were all around! I tumbled and dodged a few killing a few on my way out. Somehow of i got away and guards were everywhere at all my normal hiding spots. When i got to my clear point were i was meeting up with my master, but instead guards waiting for me. So i made my way back to the nobles house for my mission wasn't complete and found that my master and the noble were in on it together they set me up! i knew i had to get out and the only way was the woods outside the city of Egorian. Were i got lost for about a day were I stumbled accross an older man at a camp fire my first instinct was to slit his throat for fear he was a guard scouting for me,but i must of been too hungry or was off my game to sneak up on him. he said in a soft but calming voice "come get something to eat you look hungry." I slowly sat down and ate with him, (Orwen) My name is Orwen whats your name? I didnt say anything. He opened up to me and was kind the next morning i was out in the open and felt better than ever before. What he said about his past made me know he wouldn't betray me and the names of Pavo and winterish struck in my head with great vengeance. I decided to stay at his side. With my next mission to get back at the noble and my Ex-master...

Thanks for the invite, and with Diran's blessing I shall join the seven.
