Bartleby Thimblejig |
Drool drips from Bartleby's lips for moment, then a stream of vomit shoots from his mouth and nose as the paralyzation wears off. Falling to his knees, he empties at least two meals onto the museum floor.
"Hrggrr! Uurrgrrl! Hggrgrroolfff!!"
When it stops, he crawls to the nearest wall and leans against it for a while, whimpering prayers to his goddess.
Eventually he picks himself up, thanks Ursus for rescuing him, and moves to look inside the room, hoping enough masks remain to satisfy his own goals.
Smoggin Stargazer |
"What was this?" Smoggin asks, "that was disgusting." He shudders at the thought to get kissed by these things. He then also takes a good look at the room, takes ou the wand, which flips though the room, as if been taken care of. Smoggin, expecting it, runs after it and then heals himself. A ghostly sound can be heard as he picks it up, followed by maniac laughter, coming from the masks.

He will get one himself, he has enough PP though....

This simple room of unadorned stone is piled floor to ceiling with boxes and crates, allowing room for only a few small corridors between these towers of dusty, mothballed exhibits. You can hear a faint cackling from the other room.
You can find nothing of importance in this room.
DM Amazing Red |
These public restrooms seem to be for the use of visiting clientele. Several stalls are here and a huge cesspool below collects the offal. Mad laughter echoes in this cramped stone chamber. The stench of sewage battles the cold of the mist, but through the haze can be seen smears of blood across the floor, walls, and ceiling, as well as the doors of several stalls.
Suddenly as soon as you step into the doorway, another mad scribe jumps down from the ceiling and strikes at you! He cackles with glee as he gives Ursus a right hook to the temple!

"Ready to move on?"
Bartleby Thimblejig |
"Let's just give this area another search to make sure we didn't miss anything" Bartleby suggests, going through the scribe's pockets before looking into the restroom.

The only things you find in this room are the remains of a fallen half-orc. He seems to be half-eaten by something with big teeth, but you cannot be sure. He looks like he was the guard here as you notice the set of keys at his belt which is about where the body ends. That is all you find in here.
Ursus the Breaker |
Once Bartleby is satisfied Ursus will lead the group back to the main hallway.
Along the way he burns a charge off of his wand.

He looks to his allies and nods, "Let's see what this is all about", the Ulfen says. He opens the final door.

"One moment." Bartleby says as he reloads his crossbow and says a prayer over it, hoping his ill-fated luck with the weapon can be turned around. Smiling with a a little more confidence bolstered by the feel of the weapon being imbued with magic he states. "Pharasma says, Ok, let's do it." Bartleby takes up position just outside the door (AB 13), aiming his crossbow inside from a position that uses the wall as cover.

A long hallway leads to this grand hall, wherein the Blakros Museum shows off its finest collections. Mock vines cling to the walls and hang from the fifty-foot-high domed ceiling, and huts of grass are strewn about the open area. At the center of this sprawling chamber, a miniature replica of a traditional Mwangi ziggurat rises out of the mist to a height of nearly twenty feet. At the top of the ziggurat, a rail-thin elven gentleman is strapped to an altar, his bare chest painted with strange sigils and monkey paw-shaped blots of paint. Nearly 20 apes, baboons and other monkeys revel here, but a terrifying howl shatters the revelry as you arrive. The primates scatter to the mists making way for their champion. He is a giant of an ape, clearly more dangerous and powerful than any of the other creatures in the room. Following right behind him seems to be his mate, a little smaller, but also very fearsome.
The alpha male points at Ursus and beats his chest as if to issue a challenge. The female ape similarly beats her chest and stares at the rest of you.

"What the...?" Bartleby's mouth drops open at the sight of all the primates. Monkeys in Blakros Museum? He's not sure even his goddess could have predicted this. When Nolin runs off, leaving the gnomes at the mercy of the other one, he shouts out in surprise. "Hey! What are we supposed to do about that?" He points at the female with a clear run at the door. "Aww rotten shingles! Smoggin, take this, I'll try to hold the door!" He pushes his enchanted crossbow into Smoggins hands and steps into the doorway, casting shield of faith and praying it's enough.
