End Combat

Kievan Asbjorn |

Kievan walks over to Octavian. "You shouldn't have let them hit you, then..."
As he had done for Rastavar earlier, Kievan presses Octavian's wounds while muttering an incantation. A warm glow emanates from beneath his hands and Octavian's flesh begins to knit together.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
I'm assuming, at this point, that Octavian is the most heavily wounded, and that we'll be camping and resting soon.

Rastavar Gravis |

Rastavar immediately goes over to the bird and begins fussing about her wounds. For many of you this is the first time you have seen a bird mug for attention.

DM Jelani |

They each have a suit of small studded leather armor, small masterwork short swords, 3 magical (not psionic) shuriken (except for the one who threw 2, he only has 2), a potions (also magical) and sets of theives' tools.
So
4 x small studded leather
4 x small masterwork shortswords
11 x magical shuriken
4 x unknown magical potions
4 x thieves' tools

Lady Onyx Bonomo |

Onyx collects the 11 x magical shuriken 4 x unknown magical potions and one of the thieves tools sets, She makes notes of them for the Church and then uses some skills and powers to see what they are.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 Spellcraft shuriken
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 Spellcraft magical potion 1
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 Spellcraft magical potion 2
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 Spellcraft magical potion 3
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 Spellcraft magical potion 4
Re-rolls
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (20) + 18 = 38 2pp to get Detect psionics Detect psionics +10 on Spellcraft shuriken
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (1) + 18 = 19 2pp to get Detect psionics Detect psionics +10 Spellcraft magical potion 3

DM Jelani |

The shuriken are nine pointed and crafted from some glittering black metal. They are +1. The potions are potions of Cure Light Wounds. The make of the bottles is antique.
Taking 10 on Knowledge she knows that these were likely manufactured during the Great War by one of the sorcerer-priests of Ahriman.
Edit:Didn't realize that she was trained in Knowledge (Local) as well. She knows that these creatures are kobolds. They were created by Ahriman's evil dragon servants during the war to serve as scouts for their forces. No one knows exactly how they were created, but there are rumors of dragons interbreeding with goblins and magical experimentation. In the years since the war, their descendants have commonly turned to banditry across the rural regions of Allacosta.

Lady Onyx Bonomo |

Onyx looks at Grives but dos not fight his hold, she says to him.
"The evil kobolds spawn of Dragons must have looted them from this place> Useful they could well be, BUT they ARE sins against Mazda, crafted by the sorcerer-priests of Ahriman, holy edict orders them destroyed before use, so that the magic in them and stolen from Mazda's soul dos not weaken the wards that keep this world safe from the Darkness beyond. So please let go of my arm and let me complet my holy work"
She says this in an insisting and soft tone.

Rastavar Gravis |

Rastavar stares at her a moment longer but lets go of her hand.
"This is why I don't like working with priests," he grumbles to himself, digging his healer's kit and attending to his bird.
"Anyone else need patching up? I also need some help changing my bandages."
Heal Check (DC 15): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15

Octavian Lupinus |

"Well with these raised steps I say we use these pillars and build the pallaside here around the pillars. We can leave enough rooom for the horses to get in and out and should be fine." Octavian says falling back into his days of being part of the legion. "Later on we can scout around the area and see if we can find any source of water. I suppose we will be here for a while."

Kievan Asbjorn |

"I will leave the pallisade construction to you, and will find food and water for us. Vigi and I will be back shortly."
Kievan and Vigi set off in search of supplies...
Survival: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
...and apparently find a fully stocked Winnebago.

Lady Onyx Bonomo |

Onyx will Empty out then Smash each potion then ask,
"who here is still harmed?"
GM I am going to have to Change her PC sheet, I think there is a problem with the system is magic is out, she would have a heal power, so going to give her one if that ok, I know its a retro action, but she not used all her powers so finding one should be fine. Ill have a look if not she dos have a hald used healing Crystal that can patch up the guys.

Tiberius Cornelius Scipio |

No Problem, let's make these pallasides. But it will take much time.

Lady Onyx Bonomo |

Pssst...we're already level 2....
Sorry Level 3 for level 2 powers
Octavian raises an eyebrow at the woman before going back to digging out the metal stars out of his armor.
Onyx says the words of blessing to Mazda during her destruction of the magical the abominations.

Rastavar Gravis |

Sure, let's say...
Examining the area in an attempt to figure out how to best use it defensively. Gravis wanders through the temple, pausing at the statue.
Taking 10 on perception checks here.

DM Jelani |

Aside from the remains of the kobold camp Rastavar doesn't notice anything unusual. The statue is of high quality, even after all the years it remains a beautiful rendition of Mazda. As for using this place defensively, it's in a horrible defensive position. It's open 180 degrees to the valley. One would basically need to build a palisade as Octavian suggested, but without a lot of men and tools, that's going to be a long, tough job. He concludes that they're gonna need to lay low for the next four days and hope nothing comes looking for a meal.

Tiberius Cornelius Scipio |

It does take too long to build a palisade. We can only build spanish riders to slow possible attackers.

DM Jelani |

This is what I need to move this on. Are you staying here for four days? If so, any special defenses being built? Who is building them, how? If you're going somewhere else to camp, what are you looking for? A hidden spot? high ground? a narrow gorge? You're in a huge semi-wooded valley, there's plenty of places to camp. Just weigh in out of character please, once I have a majority I'll post the next bit.

Kievan Asbjorn |

Heh - I had no idea we got here quite that early. I'm gonna vote for somewhere hidden, but where we could surreptitiously view the shrine to see if there are any other groups with goals similar to ours.

Tiberius Cornelius Scipio |

You're right. The shrine is a visible landmark, that will attract visitors. An hidden outlook will give us the advantage of knowing who's eventually following us.
