Okay, lets see. Sir Tristan is first,
The goblins are on top of the cliffs of dover. There are two places from which the party can go up, from your left and your right. The right side is guarded by the goblins, the left side is not so much. If you have a grappling hook, you can try to climb your way to the top. If you can. The top is usually covered with grass and has nothing for a hook to hold on to, in order to support your weight.

            Goblins.
Battle.
The boat ride had seemed impossibly long. The day seemed to grow impossibly long. His patience with the Elves and their finicky ways grew thin. But, there were Goblins. And that promised battle.
Nazskab, shield at the ready, sword drawn, deftly maneuvers past everyone to the front, heading up the path to the right.
Double move

Amos is coming up behind Mordechai up the left side, Following about 30 feet behind him.
Here we go.
I shall tell the story of all your glorious deaths if we all do not make it. Until then, lets keep me alive.

            Second Round
"HAHA that's the spirit you foul little whelps!" Nazskab shouts as he tops the cliff and falls upon the goblins. The half-Orc looms comically over the goblins and in a flash of sunlight off his blade a goblin turns to red mist.

Can I see the goblins from where I am, coming up the left side? If so I would like to shoot firebolts at them as I am coming up the path. Also I am not sure if they have advantage on me since I am on the left path so i will let you figure that part out.

            okay.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 -- Nazkhab has defeated the first goblin!
Brian has defeated another.
Sir Tristan missed.
Amos missed.
-- Goblins --
"Call for reinforcements!"
"how can we, we are not on the other side."
"dang it. Attack, no surrender!"
They attack Nazkhab. 1d20 ⇒ 14

Nazskab wheels around, "Yes! You ugly specks! Call for more!
TONK
A moment of silence falls over the cliff. Nazskab lowers his left arm to get a better view at the front of his shield. He swears he heard something bounce off of it but now he's unsure.
RAAAAAAAAAERRRGGHHH
attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Mordechai continues to watch the christians battle the goblins. He is again shocked at the public use of magic the one fellow uses. He shakes his head and prays for the fellow in hopes he will not be spotted and tried as a heretic or witch, elf or not. This is England, after all!

The goblins were soundly defeated, but there seems to be no cavalry coming to their rescue. No lines of other goblins. The elf queen enters your presence. She is beautiful, with sweet ivory skin and hair a lighter shade of blonde. "Thank you, warriors, for defending me from these goblins."
(you all receive 300 XP -- both from braving the sea and defeating the goblins.)

"What was our purpose of landing to begin with then? Is there a village nearby that we can acquire supplies from? How much longer would it take to sail around versus walk through? This land is not mine own but I'll brave its treachery nonetheless."

Walking around on the grassy hill above the beach, Artegallio looks north by northwest and begins to try and figure things out
Well London, if I remember, is to the northwest. We should be able to follow the River Dour inland for a while, and if we keep going in that direction we should find Canterbury. I’ve never been in this part of the country myself. I don’t know how safe the road is from here to there, but from Canterbury to London we should be safe, and have a good road.
I believe that the distance to Nottingham from Dover is approximately 210 miles, and Artegallio is not as smart as he thinks he is. His estimate is a bit long, closer to 280 miles assuming a league is three miles

Mordechai listens to all the kvetching being done by the others. He simply sighs and, finding a suitable stout walking stick, heads inland towards where he believes a village may be located.
"One step at a time my friends. We will get there one step at a time. God will provide."

kneeling down to put my hand on the grass, I say
Making a camp here might not be wise. We may have caught the Goblins on a patrol, but the chances are there could be more close by. I have no skill for tracking,
I stand, and wipe my hands togetherThe grass is damp, it might rain again this evening. We should look for a cave, or a hovel, some simple farm house perhaps and dry our things as Sir Tristan says. It will be a long walk tomorrow if we hope to reach Canterbury in one day.

WellI answer the large man Not really. I only know that from Dover, if that is where we really are, and those white cliffs seem to tell me that it is Dover, Canterbury is north by northwest of here, perhaps six or seven leagues. My lady kept maps, they weren't especially accurate or detailed maps, but they showed the towns and villages of this country, and of our home, Wales.
