Trait: I'm haunted by memories of war. I can't get the images of violence out of my mind. After years of war, Tristan is somewhat immune to the dark and/or violent acts of others around him. Still, he has a somewhat disturbed expression, wisened by several decades of destruction, both inflicted by him and on him. Acts of cruelty, if they can be permitted by the Knights Templar or the Church, and any other powers that be, are an effective means of discerning information or claiming lands and territories that would best be of use under the demesne of the correct authorities.

Ideal: I do what I must and obey just authority. However, in life as in war, the stronger force wins. For Tristan, the only just authority is the church, but not just any order issued from the church, but the ones that are backed up by the military orders that exist to serve the purest ideals of the church.

Bond: I would still lay down my life for the people I served with. Tristan is loyal to a fault. Those he serves with are always deserving of his protection, unless they should get in his way or otherwise upset the Knights Templar and their status quo.

Flaw: My hatred of my enemies is blind and unreasoning. Sir Tristan is not the most intelligent of men, and at times he gets a vapid expression on his face. A blindly obedient servant to the Knights Templar and their traditions, he has learned to clearly pronounce "God Wills It!" in a loud and authoritative voice.
