I'm still here. This one was running slower than most, and the fact that we had two separate groups was going to be a problem. I was starting to see the potential for trouble out the gate.
RPG samurai probably need to be a little more progressive than the traditional Japanese samurai, unless the whole party is of the same caste. I didn't figure Shinko was going to be able to travel long with everyone else before his lack of respect got him in a situation where he had to defend himself or lose his head.
Anyway... If you're going to get this running again, I'd be interested, I just think I'd like to change out Shinko for some sort of warrior-saint samurai. Maybe working toward the kensai or iaijustu duelist PrCs.

I would like to do a wuxia style 4E game on the boards but I need to finish off a game I'm running at the moment.
Wow, one year ago, I tried to revive this. I would like to with people taking over PCs if necessary in 4E.
I might just convert over all the PCs myself for fun (yes, I'm odd).

Is the warlord class appropriate for a wuxia campaign?
I still haven't decided whether to go wuxia or revive this game. But I think it would be appropriate.
Fabes, are you definitely thinking 4E? I've decided its not fiscally possible to switch from 3.5. But if you were going to stay 3.5 or PFRPG I would be very interested indeed. In either case, best of luck with this game. I loved following it in its first incarnation. I'll definitely lurk if it's revived in 4E.
