With the fighting done and their questions answer Saersha moves along with the others as they look for the way further inside. When she sees the sewer pipes the enchantress groans and says, "Ugh, they couldn't have found someplace less...aromatic to hide in?"

There is an entrance from the sewers, the door you guys are at, and well the roof.. as far as i could garner from the way its written in the module.

The board groaned and strained from Ulfr's great weight, you dont have to be an engineer to realize that the wood is under stress.... anyone else upon it and it would probably break... though two of you lighter less mountainous hero's could probably be safe to cross it.

Holy geeze guys I rolled 4 20's for you guys

Ada, Marisa, Ryn, Saersha, Ulfr, and Zev despite the silence of the room, and the disgusting ambient background noises one of you hears a whispering, then a giggle. Marisa, Ada, and Saersha you could hear slight sloshing noises and a low chuckle comeing from the pipes on your right. Ryn you see the movement of something green and tiny coming from the ledge on the upper left behing the crates and barrels...None of you are suddenly surprise when foul looking and smelling sewer goblins rush forth from the sewage tunnels or pop up from behind the crates... even if you thought sewer goblins were a myth.

Everyone but Azura go!, then the goblins, then everyone including Azura. Sort of a surprise round (use normal round actions though) The goblins on the ledge in the larder room have 3/4 cover.

Also i learned how to color bads!No confusion yay!

Ninja. I'll save that roll for after combat. Ada takes a deep breath and rushes across the wood once it's clear. She wobbles slightly but makes it to the other side.

Ada takes a step back, and casts Bless on the party. She moves away from the doorway so Saersha can get in on the fun. "Join us. This looks to be interesting. She pulls out her Scorpion whip out as she moves.

Ulfr grumbles something rude about goblins not having the balls to close to melee. Then he draws his sling and loads.


I may not have been clear, this is not a classic surprise round. You may take your move and your standard action...Minus Miss Azura who was caught completely off guard. Ive never like how surprise rounds work. Too much time in the military believe me its entirely possible to move and shoot at the same time. You dont even have to be high level :P

Oh yeah duh sling :P sorry just woke up and brains not fully turned on. It is a 5' drop into the muck, and yeah melee with the two in the 2nd room isnt probably possible from that room.

Not wanting to move out where the disgusting goblins were attacking from Saersha considered her options. It took her only a moment and she decided on a spell and, with a few words and gestures, sent a glob of acid at the nearest goblin.

Moving closer to where Zev works on opening the stuck door, Ryn draws a dagger as she does, sending it flipping end over end at one of the filthy little bastards. Slipping on a particularly disgusting patch of gods alone knew what, her aim is ruined as she watches her dagger splash into the sludge, never to be seen again.

The goblins coming from the sewer pips were spouting all sorts of foul gibberish... until the glob of acid 'thrown' by the mage splattered into the lead goblins face. He started laughing at first.... until his face began melting. With howls of terror the other two hefted the disgusting looking pouches they held throwing them at the most exposed foes the faced. One at Marisa, the other at Ada both fell almost comically short. The two pouch throwing gobins made a face and looked to one another before drawing out horsechoppers.

Ryn winces, seeing the bolt thud into Zev.

That had to hurt. Running through the scenario in her head, she realizes the disadvantage of a ranged battle. She needed something to throw. Glancing down at Zev's leg again she starts apologizing even s the idea hits her. Hopefully it wouldn't make things worse.

Sorry, this is going to sting...A lot!" She says as she yanks the crossbow bolt out of his leg with one swift motion, whipping her hand back and flipping it over, preparing to throw it back.

While he growled when he got shot he let out an annoyed yelp when the Gladiatrix forcibly removed the bolt. "Pull down then out next time, damages the muscles less." he says in an oddly calm tone.

Seeing the success of her initial spell Saersha again sends a glob of acid at the same goblin. This glob didn't sail nearly as true and she was unsure if it would actually connect with her target.

Taking aim at the goblin that threw the bag at her, Marisa tries to return fire at it with her crossbow... only to watch as it sails so far over its head that it bounces off dilapidated ceiling.

Azura hesitates, then raises her voice and sings a soft, lilting song in the Celestial tongue. Even for those who can't understand it, the song seems to create a vision - a fading memory of trees in autumn, leaves falling in gentle wind as the sun sets in a red-orange blaze. As quickly as it comes the vision is gone, but the song goes on with its eerie syllables that seem to speak of a better time. Even though it feels like the kind of music that would lull one to sleep, it carries with it celestial tones like the music of the spheres, invigorating the audience and gently nudging them toward the ideal of that better world.

Bardic music in effect, yay, everyone can accidentally forget their +1 to weapon attack and damage rolls! :D

Ulfr spins the sling so hard you can hear the stone fly and the resulting crack from the loose end of the sling. The bullet whistles across the pit and clobbers the poor gobo on the other side.

"Goblin goblin Nok Nuk?GOBLIN!!!!!!!"

The goblin atop the 'secure' perch screeched out after watching its crossbowing companion's face smush in. It rose up with such a hate and furry in its eyes directed firmly at the much larger being it would be comical...if it didnt have the look of primal fury in its features.

It lifted a sack that bulged and threw it as hard as it could torwards Ulfr... Its hate filled features seemed to drop as the missled ploped into the muck below far short of its target.

The goblin you fired at Marisa shook its fist at you and in anger threw it's dogslicer screeching in anger.

Almost predictibly the rusty looking off balanced weapon swooshed below you bouncing off the earthen wall and splooshing into the muck. Shaking its fist at you it ran to pick its weapon back up.

The other goblin hurried forward ducking its head to avoid globs of acid and closed with you Ada. As it neared he half scrunched down and then leapt up swinging its dogslicer in a high two handed slash while screaming a goblin warcry.

"AIIIIIIIEEEEEE!"

attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Right as it started to leap its foot slipped in the muck and it cleared a good foot.... which put its blade burying itself a good foot and a half below your feet. Still holding the buried in the dirt weapon the goblin kicked its feet repeated against the wall.

Oh man you guys evidently killed the one competant goblin >.<

A smirk of confidence graces Marisa's face seeing the goblin's horrific attempt to throw the melee weapon at her.
