Fabricator watches the scene with mild interest, but for the most part is still thinking about that metal owl.

Whenever you all make your way into the Tavern. If you happen to look at the map table. this is what you see upon it.

When the young Marshall is addressing him, Bastion is actually in the middle of viewing the scenes on the island. His mind being so detached from his body by the strength with which the sending is coming through, he completely misses what is being said to him. When the last scene cuts out and he comes careening back in to his own mind with the force of a catapult, he takes a sudden step back, drawing his hammer as he does.

He stands there in shock for a moment, staring around in confusion before he shakes his head sharply to clear it. Relaxing slowly, he re-slung his hammer from his belt, before addressing the young man.

"This one must apologize, this one was... Lost in telepathic communication. What is it this one can do for you?" Bastion listened intently to the problem as it was repeated, before he nodded and planted his Tower shield in the ground. "Well it is a simple task of breaking up duties. The defense of the Force River and Haven itself, along with the marshaling of the main core of the army, will reside with this one. The defense of the outer reaches and the marshaling of the auxiliary forces, those taken on excursions and the like, will reside with you. You may also be called upon to lead if there is a party to go through the door. This one thinks this is fair. Do you agree?"

Human Marshal

Giriander nods and smiles while trying to take in the body of the fantastic being in front of him.

Thank you there is one issue besides this. On the path here one of the lizardmen defyed Klokk's order to not open the doors. Learning about the attack before hand I feel an adequate punishment would be for him to tally and requisition the necessary materials to bring all the watchtowers to full strength alone.

Female Lashunta Psion 2/Arcanist 1 (Grand Diplomat)

Feorina heads to the tavern with her mule loaded up with piles of books. She ties the mule to the outside of the tavern and uses her psychic telekinetic powers to bring the books one by one onto a table inside, which she sits besides.

She nods to anyone who's present and keeps reading while waiting for the others to arrive.

Bastion begins to laugh softly before patting Girianar on the shoulder. "This one agrees with your punishment. Come along. Let us go find the Lizardman and then we will go to the Tavern. This one believes this is where your meeting with Klokk will happen. We should also station some of the Lizards here before we go. You want to command them? This one will see to the Warforged!"

<<<"Destroy anything that sets foot on this bank. If there is need of me, send a message by the usual manner. Keep on your toes!">>>

"Ready to leave?"

Aasimar Bard explorer

Resnit returns Feorina's nod and go back to his mug of juice. Occasionally staring wistfully at the beer and ale in the other mugs. He takes out his folding boat and rubs it thinking about the long trips in ships he had while traveling with his friend. He sits back and then continues to wait.

Four hours have passed since you were all finally united. together Each of you that holds any responsibilities was asked to show up at the tavern at sunset. You arrive over that time and look around the room.

There is one really long round table with 15 chairs and one open spot at what you would call the foot, if there could be a head and foot to a round table. In the center of the table is a square glass device. Hovering above it is an illusionialImage of what is displayed in color on the display surface. As you take a seat and look closer at the image hovering in the air.. You all notice that it is different for each of you. Bastion has zoomed in and taken a detailed look alone the Force river. Fabricator only wanted to look at the mountains, wondering which hold metal.

Sitting upon another table is large ornate cedar chest, identical to the one that was given to each of you, only this one is a perfect cube each side being a yard long. The top is open, as you look inside of the chest you see a pile of gold coins, seems to be about two thousand of them. Sitting next to them inside the chest are 28 golden disks stamped with a Crown. Each disk is 6” across the flat of the coin, so they are fairly big.

If you can sense magical auras at all. There is something vary obviously magical in nature about the Chest and likely the stuff inside as well as the whole Table and chairs

Looking around the rest of the room. The walls and floor are solid stone, Smooth Granite, The roof or ceiling is made from the same type of walls of force the landing field above the aptly named Force River are.

Now that you think about, all of the roofs are made from the Walls of Force. Perhaps it was to let more light inside during the daytime.

It is Exactly the moment that the sun goes down. No moon is seen in the sky. Clouds cover the stars. It is dark, the only light coming from Table and the open Chest, and of course any light sources that you have. Those of you that have just gotten here and cant see in the dark are a little nervous. Those of you that have been here over night before are relaxed waiting for what is going to happen.

Looking Up at the sky you see hundreds, if not thousands of fireflies filling the night sky. As you look out the only window inland you see This

Dark Archive

Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir

Verio had sat across the table from the empty seat and began to busy himself with going through the map of the surrounding area thoroughly. He had spent the last four hours doing this, making detailed notes about the lay out of the mountains, the position of farms and any other general information he could glean from the map. The papers detailing the map, and possible plans for an irrigation system running further inland, lay by his right elbow.

"I will have to talk to Fabricator about the irrigation system, see if we have the ability. If we could get a reliable flow to the mines we could maybe use it to power more machinery, grow the operation to a bigger scale. More metal the better after all. Speaking of..."

Taking a blank sheet of paper from a stack, Verio dipped the pen he held in to the jar of ink, before making a note reminding himself to have the human blacksmith he had used before coming here brought through on the next run, along with an armorer if he could get his hand on one.

Putting the sheet of paper to the side, he looked up surprised to see others at the table. The chair directly across from his remained empty but most of the others had been filled. He took a quick look around, before standing and moving to the back of the room. He grabbed a couple of bottles of wine, from whoever was in charge, before moving back to the table with enough goblets for all. He silently handed out the goblets and spaced the bottles around the table before returning to his seat. Pulling his kukri from his belt, he popped the cork on the wine before himself and poured a glass, before saluting the group silently with the goblet.

'Here we all sit. I wonder wh...'

Verio stared in mute shock as Fireflies began to swarm, filling the sky with a twinkling radiance. He sat back, staring in wonder, a smile curling his lips.

"Well isn't that something..."

Female Lashunta Psion 2/Arcanist 1 (Grand Diplomat)

So deep is the depth of Feorina's concentration that she only notices the fireflies after Verio's comment. "It is quite beautiful. I've found that the fireflies get more interesting with more wine."

"I believe that the others will be returning shortly."

Dark Archive

Verio Alejandro Darius al'Morin Human Heir

"Best I do not have another glass then or I won't be able to focus on my notes!" He smiled taking another sip of wine, before returning to the stack of papers. He rifled through the stack for a moment longer, making sure everything was in place, before dividing them up in to three neat piles.

The first pile was for himself and contained his own observations and notes. This pile went in a folder and in to his backpack.

The second pile was a set of plans and suggestions, these went in to scroll cases, which he then set to the side.

The third pile, the smallest of the three, was a collection of letters and communications. These he bound in string and slipped in to their own small satchel, before hanging it from the back of the chair. He would deal with that one later.

Taking another sip of wine, he turned to Feorina once again and cleared his throat politely. "Forgive me for interrupting again m'Lady. I just would like to tell you that, once I have settled in a little here, I would love to set some time aside to speak with you. I would like to discuss how we should be handling other civilizations we meet, if we meet any. I would like you to tell me your plan so I can note it down and have it on record. That way we can start building a set of guidelines for the next Council!"

RETIRED Artificer 4

Fabricator, being rather small of stature, was standing on his chair staring deeply into the image.

<<Surely these mountains have more metal. We must dig more. I will see if Klokk has any great artifacts stuck in the bottom of his bags that will assist in this endeavor.>>

Female Lashunta Psion 2/Arcanist 1 (Grand Diplomat)

Feorina smirks just a little bit. "A plan? Dear, diplomacy cannot operate with a plan. If it could, then there wouldn't be the need for a diplomat."

"Although, a meeting would be well-advised. Perhaps you could tell me what your priorities are in a diplomatic mission, and I will try to accomplish them. And then some!"

At the appearance of the blinding lights, Feorina closes her eyes and lets her "mind" see for her.

Verio laughed softly and shook his head. "I am expressing myself wrong. I know you will not have a plan as to how you will approach people, that is not how things work. Every situation is unique after all. What I meant was, I would like to know what you think would be fair to offer these civilizations, in the way of materials and access to lands and the like, and what would be asking too much of us. I have never dealt with any group larger than ten or so before so... I do not know the intricacies for keeping a rival nation happy!"

My priorities...? Well I would like access to minerals that we do not have access to, at the moment. I would also like to set up the outpost as a hub for trade, if we can manage it. Begin to build it in to a small town if we can. Also... Of our allies, maybe require a certain number of their warriors, to aid in defending the Force River!"

Female Lashunta Psion 2/Arcanist 1 (Grand Diplomat)

"The key to dealing with nations is the same as dealing with a single person. As long as they think that they are in control or are getting the better end of the deal, then they will be happy. And ideally, you will be getting what you want as well."

"As far as I see, there is only one thing that makes our colony unique. It is that we have come from another world. We cannot trade our limited lands or resources, but we can trade our knowledge. I am sure that any sages would be curious. More importantly, we can trade our knowledge many times, while we can only sell material goods once."

"This is why I believe that investment into our scholarship would be the most beneficial. I believe that the magister can attest to that. Funding for books, funding for librarians, funding for magical apprentices."

The door the Tavern opens and in walks Klokk as a dwarf, though his beard and hair are spun copper. Looking around the people he has been compelled to choose for this endeavor. He nods in approval.

Draconic "Before we start, Verio would you be so kind as to hand that earing over to Usal for right now?"

Draconic "Usul about half of them understand you tongue, the others do not. I know you speak only the eldest tongue. This earing that Verio is going to loan you for today is potent magic. It allows anyone wearing it to speak any Tongue or dialect there of that someone they consider a companion speaks.

Unsure and wary but willing to trust Klokk, Usul takes the earing as he does he notes that it will not piece his ear, it affixes itself by magic. Usul now wearing the earing understands and can speak any language anyone else he considers a companion does.

"I am sure you all have questions and probally a lot of them. I will do my best to explain things, and what I require of you. I ask you hold your questions until I am done, as its a fair bit to explain."

"The reason I waited till after dark is because, the fireflies are amazing. They were not here until after we moved the Creation Forge last year. The whole reason Outp-Haven is here and not elsewhere in the world. The first time I was here. I was fishing and it was good fishing so as I broke the way for my wing, before it became a wing, into this world I choose this place for my smithy."

Human Marshal

After handing down the order to the lizardman encampment Girianar had been sitting and drinking with the others waiting for Klokk and the others to get here. He studies the map of haven and the explored territories.

Then the lights go out and he looks around no one is saying anything and he realizes that most of his companions can see in the dark. Then a sudden light show appears. The beauty of it takes his breath away and he shamelessly gawks at such a beautiful world.

He falls back in his chair and waits for the next revelation from the Dwarf and feels for the first time absolutely sure that he made the right choice coming here.

Female Lashunta Psion 2/Arcanist 1 (Grand Diplomat)

Feorina nods to Verio to indicate that their conversation has been concluded, and puts down her books to give her attention to Klokk. She looks unusually impatient.

"I am sure you noticed the Table. The glass in the center is what is called a Reactive Table. I purchased it from an Arcane I met in the Hallway. All it cost was a single helms. Klokk looks around to see if anyone catches the joke. Noting who does he laughs and then continues.

Truth of it is that it was from an Arcane. We found him stranded floating in a globe of invulnerability within the rainbow ocean. This one had been augmented with many many of those dragonshards from Eberron all three or four types of them. Its function is greatly enhanced. This table is immobile, unlike the standard ones with are made for the ships that sail within the phlogiston.

This ones function is similar, like the standard one, It displays a map of the lands around itself marking the world into 10 mile squares. However, unless one is keyed to it as an Explorer" Klokk nods at Resnit The map remains blank. If an explorer, well explores an area, as Good Resnit has been doing the past many months the map lights up. IF ever it is moved, it will reset itself to a blank map showing only the area of Haven. It takes a full month to re-attune itself to the new location, Even if it is only a few paces from the old location. I was not aware of that when I moved it here in preparation of your arrivals. I am sorry.

I am sure you also noticed the Chest. This chest is bound to the ones I gave each of you. You simply touch one of the smaller ones to it and tell it what you would have access to from the larger one. There is a few restrictions on it. The Chest only holds Coins or Gems, no items at all.

Those Large gold coins in there. They are created with the magics of the chest. Anything stored within the warehouses, or any future ones. is converted to what I like to call Krowns. These Krowns are useful for many things, All though they are but mostly illusions."

Female Lashunta Psion 2/Arcanist 1 (Grand Diplomat)

"As you are all going to be ruling what amounts to basically a small barony right now. Effective at Sunrise of the 11th your first month will start and you will have your first choices of what to build, where to expand. where resnit should focus his explorations. What projects the rest of you should undertake."

"This is a large burden I am laying upon you. As I have told most of you, I will be busy within the Creation Forge and my Tower above Joel's office. Both will be off-limits. IF you have need of me Chiree will be around. But Joel should be able to advice on almost any matter, just remember to knock before you enter his rooms as he may be in the midst of something for me."

"Those Krowns I mentioned, they each represent a thousand gold pieces worth of stone, metal, grapes, whatever is in the warehouses. Again it is simply symbolic and infact they return the chest if someone leaves the room with them in hand. But you can use them a tokens upon the map.. what you are going to spend where for the month or season.

"If you look at this list here it will tell you the assorted costs and space requirements and previous buildings that may be required to build it. For your convience it is available simply by asking the table to see it again.See kingdom building rules in Ultimate Campaign or on the SRD supplemented by anything found in Ultimate Rulership

"In case you are worried about things walking off. The smaller chests, will only work for what they are keyed to. In the cases of all your chests of 100 gold for example. If stolen they will not work, they can only be freely given away. The only people that have the authority to change what the lesser chests can access are Verio, Fabricator, Joel and myself.. and anyone that both verio and fabricator tell the chest to grant the power to. Its just a matter of speaking aloud to the chests and telling them what is what.

"While were are speaking about coins again. Let me tell you how things work.

Klokk meets the eyes of Joel, Feroina, Bastion, Verio, Avelloran, Resnit, Usul, Fabricator, Thutmose, Girianar and Samanthia who must have entered some time while Klokk has been speaking.

"Up till now, we have simply gathered what we needed, as only Joel, Wolvyn, Sammanthia and myself require food we lived on grapes, potatoes and what her magices could create for us. The Forged ones do not eat, they can but food or drink serves no purpose for them.

"Verio, I overheard you mention something about moving martin here because we need a smith. hmmhummhumm that is kinda funny. You see.. well ill get to that in a moment, but I ment him more as a contact to sell things for you then a recruit for here in Haven."

"Assets"

"First off there is the twelve of you, if you count Wolvyn; Thirteen if you count myself."

"We have acquired 29 Krowns worth of supplies in the past year or so."

"You can see the area that is explored, but not yet claimed or developed."

"It consists of 2 Grape farms, 4 potatoes farms, 2 logging camps, 2 stone quarry's, 1 copper and 1 iron mine all connected by roads. As the Forged can see in the dark, there is not one light orb outside of Haven, well beyond the ones that illuminate a double bowshot from the palisades."

Gesturing at the Table with his hand, still holding that screwdriver some of you saw in the vision, so it kinda reinforces it to you that it JUST may have happened.

"Friendly Military units will show up on the map with their location and any relevant information.

On the map a listing of five military units appear.
100 Adamantine Forged Infantry - Pick Axes - Blacksmith's
100 Adamantine Forged Infantry - Two handed axes -Weaponsmith's
100 Adamantine Forged Infantry - Military Forks -Armorers
050 Psi-Forged Soldiers - Awaiting Arms and Armor
050 Psi-Forged Soldiers - Awaiting Arms and Armor
050 Stonescale Lizardmen Tribe - Awaiting Arms and Armor

"Disregard the first three units of Forged Infantry. For some reason this Table refuses to believe that the Forged are non-combatants."

"It also will display friendly civilian units or should."
The map continues to display the same five units.

"Hummm well maybe one of you can figure it out. For now just I guess keep it in combat mode to keep an eye on the miners, lumberjacks and farmers of the Forged ones."

"Ohh Reguarding this Tavern. It is staffed with unseen servants that will serve food or drink that is magically created at the bar over there. It is but an illusion, but even a fake ale tales better than no ale."

Looking around at everyone gathered again, Klokk finally sits down at the chair that is to the right of the open space at the foot of the Table.

"I am sure you have many questions. Joel will have specific instructions for all of in you in the morning, a scroll will be placed on top of your chest at the foot of your bunks."

"On bunks and this is the last thing I will say before I open the questions to everyone of you, reguardless of what role you hold, at least this time you may speak freely."

"Accommodations are some what scarce, if you want anything more fancy then a rack in the barracks to sleep in. Your going to have to order it built yourself and wait for it. The good news though. In the barracks is enough room for four hundred heavy Calvary and stables below for mounts. So each of you could almost take a floor if you wanted for now.. or sleep in a mine if that's what you prefer. None of the Forged have been assigned a Rack because well they don't sleep, but your welcome to change that if you wish."

"I will sum things up before we adjourn. Feel free to ask me anything you wish that will aid you in the roles that both you and fate have chosen for yourselves.

RETIRED Artificer 4

"I see that some of the units are awaiting arms and armor. Does that need to be crafted or do they need to go to the armory?" i thought we picked for them already

"Also, I like to take a hands-on approach to many tasks. I don't suppose that you have a magical tool of some description stuck in your beard that I could borrow for the task?"

"Furthermore, are you aware of any specific dangers in the surrounding area? Or would that be a better question for our explorer?"

Silver Crusade

"They will need to be created, there is a small supply of firearms but only 4000 rounds of powerder and lead, There is one hundred muskets. that is only 400 shots each, Unlike Bastion's bracer augmentation these muskets require ammo. But if you utilize all units of Forged ones with smithing training for the first month, it can be done, this one time I will aid with fabrications if they cannot produce what is needed by themselves. Or you could spread it out over six months and not loose any production."

"I have made many tools both magical and masterwork. All of them have stuck in my beard. Perhaps you have a specific function you can think of? IF you want some sort of hand augmentation where you pull your hands off and let them crawl around on things for you.. We may be able to do something similar to a clockwork spider with them. You've had time to think. is there something specific you have thought of?

Silver Crusade

I have encountered no living creatures of above animal intelligence on this world that have not either come through the Door with me or been given the key. Nor any ruins. I wish I could be of help. Even Resnit, who has explored 5 squares around Haven in all land directions he was given the boat after he got back has encountered not even the tracks of anything worth mentioning. The Animal and Fish and I assume birds as well though ive never seen any, are all a size larger then one would expect if they are encountered elsewhere.

Aasimar Bard explorer

Resnit slides back in his chair thinking about his recent experiences and how to best shape his answer to the way Fabricator thinks.

Well as both a traveler in my home world it is on par as dangerous. I have yet to encounter bandits of any stripe but that very lack of people mean that the natural dangers of the world such as thunderstorms in an open fields and wild animals are more prevalent. Heck, even a simple bit of equipment failure can have us come back rather than press on since this is the only resupply point we have. Anything else you want to know.

I am taking that from the explorer rules. http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateCampaign/kingdomsAndWar/optional KingdomRules. html

"I was thinking of a tool of some sort for magically moving earth and stone; moving dirt out of the way, packing it into walls, pulverizing stone into gravel or molding it into walls and pillars. This is what I imagine to be the most time-consuming aspect of our set-up work here. To speed this up would free the mass of workers for more routine tasks to ensure that we are not slowed in our progress."

"There is a couple things that may work. I think the best one may be that shovel joel told you about, the one I used to build this place with? It is not useful at all for combat situations however."

Verio arched an eyebrow and frowned softly. "I never actually mentioned it, just thought it. And I assume, what you were going to say, was that you yourself are a smith. But to be fair... I assumed you would be spending most of your time away from here. Also if you were going to suggest that the Warforged also are smiths well... That is all well and good but I assumed we were also going to start growing a living town here too. If I assumed wrong, that is my fault. I apologize!"[/]

He nodded softly, ordering another bottle of wine. [b]"I do have a question though... We are to explore and meet new races, if we come across them, new civilizations, what then do you want us to do?"

Male Lizardfolk Invlunerable Rager / 8

The scene was very hodgepodge in the tavern. Lizards, People, constructs... Usul didn't know what to make of the latter. They had no scent, no pulse, no breath .... no life? Strange. He would have thought ill of them before, but he'd had his fill of people these past few months.

As the tavern darkened, the fireflies made him homesick. I miss our marshes... It had been some time. But perhaps they would have new marshes again.

He was thankful for the earring, though unsure of it at first. It gave him a touch of pride to have his language referred to as eldest. The wise of the tribe knew such things, but within their own, it was an irrelevant truth. With a more cosmopolitan composition, it as good to be the center; only in that manner was it true though - the Stonescales could not be more different otherwise.

Talk of magic chests, construction... Usul's questions were more concrete (like he was). "We build strong dams, canals, ..." he struggled to find the word ... "ramparts. But know nothing about machine-man talk." Mostly referring to Fabricator's topics, Usul knew while a few of his tribe were clever enough to figure out whatever they needed, most would be lost like him. "We can hunt. See, smell. Protect" He extended a claw towards the person referenced as the explorer. "I go with you. Keep shiny man safe. No worries for bandits. We see this new land together." If anyone should see these new dangers of my tribe, it should be me. After all, I brought them here. There were a few adolescents among them, but no children, thankfully. Most had been killed or unable to keep up as they were harried.

Bastion made a noise akin to clearing his throat and turned to Usul. "Usul Stonescale as to that this one has been thinking on what your people would be best suited in doing, if you will permit this one to make a suggestion. Your people are naturally more attuned to the wilderness than this one and his own therefore, you and yours are indeed the obvious choice to accompany the Explorer and the Marshall during their trips. You and yours would be an auxiliary force mostly used as scouts and flanking forces, if that sounds like something you all would be happy with!"

Aasimar Bard explorer

Resnit had been sitting back trying to gauge the rooms mood on the topic he wants to bring up. Verio's words give him an opening and as he starts to draw attention to himself by standing up nodding at Usul and internally thanking him for his offer since it gives him a usable starting point and bastion for pointing it out.

If you don't already realize my recent forays into the have been to establish a known area around Haven city. Not particularly dangerous because Klokk had already cleared much of the area already, what issues cropped up in his absence needed little moping up. I have heard a few plans about what my next exploration should focus on.

He turns and nods at Feorina and Fabricator then places his hand on his own chest.

The idea's I have so far are to search the southern desert for intelligent life, focus on the finding of usable natural resources and lastly my own idea of taking the Feorina's Gift out to map the coastline. My next exploration will be more dangerous than the current one. There are two main reasons for this

Resnit looks at the individuals in the room one by one catching there eyes before moving on to the next.

First is the simple fact that I will be farther a field and as such less likely to be able to get assistance, food and repairs for

he pauses and than continues

Anything I bring with me. Secondly if what happens if I do make contact with another sentient race. A possibility made more likely by my or Feorina's plans. Are we in a position to make trade agreements, defend our selves from attacks or an overbearing government that can push us around. I myself don't have much of a diplomatic protocol for dealing with newly meet nations besides being polite, should I head to their capital carrying a diplomatic message from Klokk or Feorina or return immediately to report back. So I leave it up to the group what should I search for between now and the winter months and how I should respond to meeting intelligent life.

At the somewhat confused looks of some of the council members at his last comment.
"What.. I got to splurge a little bit back on Eberron, E'Lanthis opened the whole coffers of Cannith's Artiface supplies to help fund this whole project. I find humor in the fact that a Forged one asked if she could use the fancy shovel to dig a hole. It don't matter that shes was a Forged one, coulda been a dwarf. But This dwarf didn't even think of it before she asked. Look at it. Table display item My Shovel"

An image forms above the table showing a vary close view of the Blade head. "This is Adamantine, it is of the strongest materials I have ever encountered. That was not why I selected it, It is the only metal I am aware of that allows magics more potent than standard artiface allows. Why the giants of Xen'Drik so long ago choose to make a Forged with an adamantine body, such as Bastion here, as their standard form, we are still guessing."

"The shaft is a single long dark amythest Khyber dragonshard with an elder earth elemental bound inside, willingly. Who would think of using THAT as a simple shovel."

"The table will record anything that written that has been within this room. It can display a copy if you can figure out the right words, its sometimes tricky or confused, such as with thinking all of the forged are soldiers. It will also display an image and description if desired of any magical item that has been within the room it is housed in. I cant believe it only cost one minor helm."

[I]Klokk looks at Verio slightly confused."maybe it was just a lucky guess. Far as a living breathing city. That is why I brought all of you. I don't know the first thing about city building."

sensemotive20:
You can sense a fair bit of deception when he says city building, but otherwise no lies are detected so far in the tavern from Klokk.

Klokk continues, "I leave that to all your discretion. But yes the Forged Civilians are your smiths right now, they have an augmentation that grants them a focus in their specific types of arms or armor or general smithing. You welcome to recruit anyone you want here, but the next time the Doorway into Eberron or Golorian will be a year from yesterday."

"My only requirement is that while I work I am undisturbed in the Tower and that the Forge is protected as that is the heart of everything here. So natuarally I would prefer it if you didn't managed to pissed of whatever creatures are native to this world, at least bad enough that they come and destroy haven and interrupt my projects. Beyond that, tis why I brought you all here. Your the ones that get to make those choices."

"Usul, I am going to assign Wolvyn to assist your tribe in settling in. Has found a swamp to the northeast along the coast, perhaps it may do for clan when you of Haven decide to set up an additional village. Wolvyn served his apprenticeship with shamans of a clan upon his homeworld. His ways may be different than yours, but more similar then any of the rest of us. he speaks the eldest tongue as well this common tongue amongst humans of all worlds."

That said Klokk leans back in his chair and drinks his ale letting the Council speak as they will.

Some of them might like the city though. Usul was happy to hear about the swamp to the Northeast, but some of the younger and elder of his tribe would want to rest in the original settlement, he knew. Not all of them would be up for the trek to the desert. "So it is. Many of us come with you to search desert. Some Stonescales stay behind to help with the camp."

Usul made his way among his people to see who wanted to be where, but he forced the younger among them to stay "behind" at the new settlement; some of them would need to continue the tribe if they perished in the field. There was only one he made come with him.

"Ssisel! You will come with us and show them you are useful." Usul was a bit embarrassed at the younger's accident, though he did recognize it as that. He simply couldn't allow such behavior to go unabated in a dangerous new world though.

Avelloran walks with the group through the Hall of Doors, fascinated with Klokk's transformation. Once he witnesses it, Avelloran immediately begins transcribing in a bound parchment book, documenting and measuring with his eyes, all that he sees and hears within the hall.

Upon reaching Haven, Avelloran glances about at the beautiful landscape and sighs as he dips his quill and continues furiously scribbling in his notebook.

Avelloran is a tall lythe elf with pitch black hair and green eyes. He is shockingly almost painfully beautiful, nearly to pretty for a man. He wears a white shirt and black trousers with leather boots and a bright blue robe with a collar that raises to well above his head, and a hood so large that it could cover such collar and it hangs down below his lower back when he is not wearing it.

I will need a tower...yes a tower and a library, and, oh my it is dark already. his long train of thought is interupted as he realizes that he is standing alone in the dark of the field which he arrived in. Harrumphing to himself he trots to the now glowing tavern and enters as his compatriots are all listening to Klokk.

Sitting down at the table, Avelloran notices the Lighted map of illusion and with a determined look begans his note taking anew.

Avelloran glances with faint disgust at the lizardmen Such ugly little creatures, maybe a spell to make them appear beautiful he banishs the vain thought from his head Silly just silly

He wasn't sure what Klokk was but he meant to find out, that golden dwarf wouldn't keep secrets from this Magister oh no! Whatever a Magister is anyway. I'm sure that it includes learning the mysteries of the Arcana and the study of Multi Planar beings so I'll be within the bounds of my position. Is anyone here lovely? Perhaps someone for me to write poetry to.

This was the way it worked with Avelloran, pulled apart at the seems by his insatiable curiousity and thrist for knowledge and his vanity and love of beauty, it oft came across as an inability to focus, like a squirrel.

She turns to Resnit. "As I recall, the established practice is to bring a letter of introduction and then schedule an official visit. If we have some sort of communication device, I could even talk with them directly before the visit."

Verio clears his throat to interject. "I was going to ask whether an item could be forged that would allow Resnit to use the spells..." He turned to his pile of notes and rifled through them for a moment before extracting a sheet and nodding. "Yes. The spells Sending and Message?" He read the sheet over again before nodding, happy he had named the correct spells.

"It would be just the thing for long distance communication!" Verio nodded before turning to Klokk. "I have to actually apologize to you Klokk. I did mention bringing Martin here, but earlier, when we were still on Golarion!"

"For the most ostentatious of occasions, I feel that an official state visit would still be the best option. Something to awe them with our opulence."

"Oh yes of course, I agree, but we would need a way for him to communicate that to us, so that we could send you to where he is!"

"I have known birds back on my home planet that used to transport messages. I imagine that the same can be done here?"

To Klokk: <<Have you heard of the Baelnorn?>>
