One correction to the above post.

Heikki's kit is prophet-scholar priest. It is two kits welded together: prophet priest and scholar priest, both from the Complete Priest's Handbook.

Raise your Charisma is 14 and 15 when it pertains to the women who you take interest in, you are as always, your father's (bastard) son after all. It is very telling.

(In the same manner, some members of the Nobility, the husbands, brothers, fathers and sons of your father's all too many conquests will react rather poorly should your paths cross.)

And raise your Constitution to 13 as well, for the very same reasons.

Freiherr Lunta-Somme had charm and vitality to spare up to his late age.

For Non Weapon Proficiencies you start with 4 and add a staggering six more because of you high Int.

You also get a bonus (free) Religion, and Read/Write.

That's twelve Non Weapon Proficiencies to start with!

We may run this a different manner than how its traditionally done in 2nd Ed but the net result is you may have one more skill left over you can add.

Also right now all you speak is your native tongue, languages known will come out of you Non Weapon skill allotment.

Since you have lots of starting Proficiencies, you may want to consider saving a Non Weapon Proficiency point for Perception.

Generally Perception is probably in the top three useful and important skills, your high Wisdom will greatly benefit here. I list the Skills up on this page by tomorrow.

Also is there a reason you put one of your 17s in Intelligence? I think its cool, but I was wondering if you did it's a requirement for something you are trying to do later, a 17 could be very helpful in say Str or Con, that's the reason I asked.

Background:

Born in Karak Khazakfindar, Axel was the only son of Hargrim, a burly priest of Clangeddin, and his wife Marda, a gemcutter. His father wanted Axel to follow in his footsteps but it was not to be - his father was brutally ripped apart by a troll when he was but a beardless boy. His mother eventually died of grief and he was sent to live with his uncle (on his mother's side) Darran, a practical dwarf busy for the most part with business, who did his level best to discourage his ward's notions of joining the priesthood by keeping him otherwise occupied. His uncle worked as a trader and a prospector finding mine-sites and passageways belowground and taught Axel quite a bit about moving quietly underground; Axel practiced in use of his father's axes as best he could, and when he was old enough joined the militia of the town, who however used him as a scout.

Background of Heikki Lunta

Heikki is the bastard son of a wealthy, minor nobleman (Freiherr Lorras Lunta) and a noblewoman (Lady Linnea Somme) married to another man (Lord Ambrose North, diplomat). Heikki is filled with shame over his father's many dalliances, even though he exists solely because of one of them. He wants to respect the nobility, but knows deeply that the behavior of noblemen and noblewomen is sometimes not noble at all. He is as proud of his service to Ukko as any priest can be, and wants to live a pious life of learning, helping others, and serving the Great Sky Father. Heikki feels that he has a special role in the world and in service to Ukko. He has had visions in dreams and in daydreams. Often when something unusual happened, Heikki was struck by the memory of a similar vision he had days, weeks, or months earlier. Heikki wants to wander the earth helping those in trouble and serving the will of the Great Sky Father. On his travels, he wants to learn about the world so that he can better understand his visions and bring his knowledge back to the temple of Ukko. If his visions can help others live good lives or serve the Great Sky Father better, then his gift is a gift to all the faithful.

Heikki is patient and calm when other nobles scorn him over his illegitimate birth and his father's behavior. Their rudeness saddens him, but they do have a point, after all. Heikki has never pursued a romantic relationship with a woman for many reasons. One of these is the many demands of his priesthood that keep him busy. Another is his desire to travel the world seeking knowledge. Additionally, he fears that he will be like his father: using a woman impiously, but never being true to her. He thinks women are wonderful, and finds many of them to be quite attractive. However, he is a bit afraid to be close to women, especially with all the impure thoughts that he just can't get out of his head.

In my eight + years posting on Paizo I don't think there was as massive a loss of posts as there was yesterday.

There was a power outage that took out electricity in Redmond where Paizo is based.

The power outage and subsequent server crash caused the forum to be down for about a day -- and then ALSO caused the next day's worth of posts to disappear from the site forever. This does not normally happen.

Heikki Lunta, a common laborer makes about 10 silver a week at BEST.

You have 160 gp, that's three years worth of gold!

As an aside, typically characters don't have that much gold to go on a shopping spree.

Rather that amount represents items owned for years, bartered goods, inherited hand me downs, small amounts of money carefully and diligently saved up or a former master's bequeath to a longtime apprentice.
