The golden seal breaks apart from the forces of Lidras' energies, flaking on to the floor in surprisingly large quantities. (250 gp worth)
As the doors swing open, you hear a *click*...
GM: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
...and two arbalest bolts stream just past Cloud, with 3 others hitting the other door.
Beyond the door is a pillared porch overlooking a chamber that contains a model of a city. Arrayed on the porch are numerous clay statues of guards holding bronze-headed spears. The face of each statue is different, as if they were modeled from different subjects. Next to each statue is a small, glazed clay pot. The walls are decorated with brightly colored frescoes depicting a royal court in ceremonial garb and a king arrayed with his armies.
There is a chill in the chamber beyond, like that of a brisk winter morning. In the center of the room is an enormous, tarnished copper raft, crafted to resemble a dragon, bearing a copper coffin. The raft is afloat on a sea of silvery-white, flowing metal, fed by several rivers that trail along the floor of the room. The flowing liquid appears to be cool.
Between the waterways, stepped pyramid-temples rise skyward in mute paean to the gods of ancient Payit. Three of the pyramids appear to have tops that can be removed. In the rest of the area, a royal complex sprawls across verdant fields, and courtyards and ringed marketplaces dot the miniature countryside. There is a blight on this spectacle, however, for several of the models have been smashed and melted.
As Cloudrunner enters, a wall of fire springs forth just behind, blocking him off from the rest of the party. Assuming standard marching order here, not picking on Cloud. ;P Also, reminder walls of fire are opaque.
GM: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Cloud: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 nice
The fire heightens Cloudrunner's senses and he spots a creature squirming out from a hole under the coffin. It's...Cloudrunner?
The Cloudrunner attacks Cloudrunner with its feline claws...
Pisco: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Lidras: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Lidras Warning: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Katra: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 16
Cloud: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Enemy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Round 1:
Katra, Lidras

Those on the other side of the wall can hear some commotion but not sure what's going on.

Lidras walks forward, wonder in his eyes. It wasn’t even the money. That came and went. It was the beauty, and the thrill of finding something new. It was what made a long life worth living. It was what made a long life worth ending. And that was when the walk of fire shot out. Jumping back, he shielded his eyes from the light.
”What-...Cloud! Are you alright?”
Can Lidras fly over the flames?
GM Infinity
Sorry, its on the other side of the doorway and goes all the way to the ceiling. Everyone has avoided the need for dexterity save, but the wall is very hot and will burn creatures within 10 ft of it at the end of their turn, or those who pass though. Assuming it isn't an illusion ;)
Pisco
The tabaxi takes a few steps back from the wall of fire, and taking a deep breath, he sprints forward. He launches himself towards the roof of the tunnel, twisting his body so it spins in the air. Upon reaching the roof, Piaco flips in the air and lands feet first, bending his knees and then launching himself once again. This time he flies towards the floor on the opposite side of the fire, landing on his feet with a flourish.
Arcobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
...or that was the plan...ouch!
GM Infinity
Fire dmg to Pisco: 5d8 ⇒ (8, 5, 8, 7, 6) = 34 yikes, unlucky...need to give out inspiration more often
Once Pisco is in the air, the flame direction changes, and it is difficult to alter his previous trajectory. The burning singes his fur, but he reaches the other side still alive.
The Cloudrunner approaches Cloudrunner with the fury of a jaguar warrior "What is this? You're not me!" swinging out with its own obsidian fragments...
Atk: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Multi: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
...but Cloudrunner is too nimble, avoiding the Cloudrunner's swings.
Round 1:
Katra, Lidras
Rennurdoulc
Cloudrunner, Pisco <--up
Cloudrunner
"What sort of trickery is this?!!" One of the Cloudrunners growls in frustration as he moves around the other. He swings at him with his sword and then tries grabbing the other and shoving him into the fire growling in rage the entire time. "I am tired of this wretched place!!"
Unfortunately, his rage at this latest affront is too much and he swings around uselessly.
Longsword attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Longsword damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Extra attack, shove action: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 vs Athletics (+6 if same stats) or Acrobatics (+2)

Hearing the Combat, Lidras thought to himself Usually this is a game of asking questions only the real one would know. Too bad I don’t know anything about the real one...
Investigation To desperately look for a way to turn off the fire: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
Lidras knelt down to examine where the fire was coming from, and what he could do to turn it off.
GM Infinity
Lidras, just before the flames erupted you noticed a glyph on the floor just behind the door glowing purple. Perhaps if you knocked the stone door on top of the glyph it would have some effect...
Could blast the bronze hinges as an attack and move inside if it works
edit: AC 12 with advantage, auto crit, 2 hp
Katra Ironfist
"I think the only thing to do is to tie you both up and then figure things out from there. If you are the real Cloud, do not resist this."
With that said, Katra pulls out some rope and moves to the closest Cloud to tie him up.
GM Infinity
The Cloudrunner lowers its blade "Right, let's get to the bottom of this."
Lidras, your force creates a face-sized tunnel, negating matter where once there was some. The stone door collapses and crushes the glyph, causing the curtain of flame to lower and flicker until a dark red fire turns black.
You still have a move and another blast if I'm not mistaken
Katra Ironfist
Having resolved the situation with Cloudrunner, Katra moves to Pisco and channels the holy light of Moradin into him.
Cure Wounds as a 3rd level spell: 3d8 + 4 ⇒ (1, 5, 1) + 4 = 11
Seeing such power not as effective as she would have hoped, she called down lesser spells to heal him some more.
Cure Wounds: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
"We should probably find a place to rest before too much longer, as I am running low on my granted power."
Pisco
Pisco feels the burns on his skin slowly begin to heal, and even the regrowth of his fur tickles the freshly cured skin.
"Ah, many thanks to you and your god...I owe you both a great debt! It was not the smartest move I made...but I could have sworn that I could make it only slightly singed!"
Thanks..Pisco is feeling better now
Cloudrunner
After they have both been tied up, one of the Cloudrunners growls at the other, "So who are you and why are you doing this? They will soon find discover which of us is false and you won't draw breath for long after that unless you confess now and explain yourself!"
Intimidate (Cha): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Katra Ironfist
Wisdom Insight: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
"I can't tell. I thought I could there for a second, but....it's probably best just to beat them both unconscious and figure things out from there. I can memorize divination magic tomorrow and speak with Moradin about which is which."
As she speaks, Katra hefts her hammer and then looks from one Cloud to the other.
Cloudrunner
Hearing Katra's comment, one of the Cloudrunners says, "Katra, wait!! Before you beat us unconscious... I have a question for this impostor. If you are a true jaguar warrior and the real Cloudrunner - will you help these others safely return home? Two jaguar warriors will be no match for any threat down here."
Pisco
Arriving late to the conversation, Pisco looks at both Cloudrunners.
"Wow...teo of you. I really must have been hurt to see two of you. So we are trying to figure out which is which, right. Well, let's take a close look, shall we!
insight: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Hmmm, nope. No idea. Crack them both and let their god sort it out!!"
Katra Ironfist
"The problem with a shapeshifter is that they can usually change shape a lot. Right now, we know that one of you is the imposter. If we free you both, that means that the imposter could try to overpower one of us and take their place. Better to wait for the morning and see what Moradin has to say about such a thing."

Lidras pulled his companionions aside and said quietly to them ”I say we let them both loose. With any luck the shapeshifter will try to take on my appearance or yours, Katra. It won’t be able to mirror my powers, and yours come from a god. It will be hilarious when it realizes that.”
