The third frog gives a distressed sound and collapses, it's face hissing. Goghurt is still in it's mouth.. his butt hissing from acid burns.

Yes Grim, there's still a completely uninjured frog within 10 ft of you.

Rutheric struggles mightily but fails to reverse the grapple. Remember, the -4 dex from being grappled affects your CMB and lowers it by 2. This is not the -2 attack penalty for being grappled, which isn't applied to grapple attempts, it's a dex penalty that is applied at all times while you are grappled. There is, however, a -4 penalty for being a humanoid creature without two hands free to make your grapple check also. So the frog has a -2 to his CMD while grappling, but Rutheric has a -6 total.

Grapple Rules:

Grapple
As a standard action, you can attempt to grapple a foe, hindering his combat options. If you do not have Improved Grapple, grab, or a similar ability, attempting to grapple a foe provokes an attack of opportunity from the target of your maneuver. Humanoid creatures without two free hands attempting to grapple a foe take a –4 penalty on the combat maneuver roll. If successful, both you and the target gain the grappled condition (see the Appendices).

Grappled Condition:

Grappled: A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform. A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler's CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.

Ha yes this one over there is still moving well not for long...

Goghurt comes close to escaping the frog's belly, but the stomach muscles crushing in on him just makes it too hard to escape, especially without being able get all his limbs into position at the same time.

Goragg's arrow fires off in a random direction and kills a gnat as it slams into the mud.

Grim's claw, however, finds it's mark, leaving a furrow of slash marks on the frog's butt.

The frog grinds on Goghurt some more in his gut. Swallow Whole: 1d4 ⇒ 2 Then it leaps away again in two 30 ft hops. Grim's blade slams into it as it leaps away. 10% chance Goghurt hit too for half damage, 1-10: 1d100 ⇒ 20 The blade buries it deep in the frog, and Goghurt feels the blade push the frog's liver into the back of his head.

Cale finally manages to push his way out of the frog he's in, ending up sitting in a puddle of mud with frog spit coating him from the waist up.

Rutheric claws at the frog's belly, and grins up at it as he rips open the soft underside with one claw, blood and organs spilling out...

...then the kappa realizes his mistake as the frog's insides pour out over him, only to be topped by the frog's bulk as it falls forward on top of him, smashing him into the soft muddy water. Fortunately Rutheric can breath the water, although it doesn't taste very good with a combination of mud and blood and intestines in it.

Is it time for a "I thought they smelled bad on the outside" joke?

Goragg rushes to save the turtle-man, attempting to push the frog off his friend before he suffocates. (What, hue-mann? Am I supposed to be "confused" again?)

Max lift 520 lbs; Max push 1300 lbs.

Goragg rather easily pushes the frog off the Kappa.

Turtle-man, are you okay?

Rutheric coughs and gags up a bit of intestines.

I'm...I'm alive. I suppose that, in that sense, I am okay. Good thing...I was never a tidy person. The kappa gets up from the muck, and wipes the grime and innards off of him. It's a shame we had to kill them...but they were hungry, and we wanted to survive. We would dishonor them if we did not make full use of them...

So yes, I am in agreement with (giant) frogs' legs.

Goragg moves to secure the perimeter, checking for paths used by large animals or possible ambush points. He also searches for firewood if any exists.

Nothing nearby does Goragg find. There is what appears to be a game trail of sorts, which is what everyone was following in order to stay out of the really nasty muck.

Who's doing the field dressing/butchering?

Unless anyone has Profession (Butcher), I'm guessing Survival is the skill in demand for field dressing a giant frog (or five).

Turtle man, help me dress these corpses before we attract even bigger predators. We will need a fire to cook them unless little useless one has some magic instant frog-leg-jerky potion stashed away. He looks at Goghurt expectantly.

Survival: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 Boo-yah! Frog Leg Clementine, with a demiglace of zorgberry preserves, coupled with a nice '93 Chateau d'Hobbe Gobellin merlot, coming up...

Picking himself off of the ground, Goghurt spits. "No magic instant frog-leg-jerky potion, but Goghurt can make fire quickly if we need. Would suggest removing us from swamp before we try fire."

He scratches his chin. "Goghurt not seem very useless just then. Goghurt kill two of the frogs alone."
