Awesome (non-typical) spells for wands

Advice

So I have a 7th level sorcerer/paladin who can basically smash any UMD check needed to activate a wand, and I wanted to check out what spells from other classes seem to very effective for wand use.

It is a bit easier to search for good buff spells via search filters by using "minute or hour" for duration keywords, but searching through all the spells of all the lists for possible debuffs, crowd controls, and damaging blasts is a daunting task.

Clearly examples like magic missile, cure light wounds, true strike, shield, etc. usually pop up in these discussions, but I'm looking for those rare and interesting beauties. Not exactly spells that I'm going to try and squeeze 50 charges out of an maximize use value. Just cool and effective spells that I can't already cast innately as a sorcerer.

Enervation comes to mind as a WIzard list example, but I'm looking for others.
Who will get the most bonus points!!

1 bonus points if it is a non-healing / non-buff spell
2 bonus point if it's on another spell list.
3 if it has no save or even just decent effect with a save.

If you need to build a fortress, wands of things like Wall of Stone, Transmute Mud to Rock, Stone Shape, etc could come in really handy.

Sovereign Court

Faerie Fire (minute/level, no save, 5' radius)
Burning Disarm (low reflex save on a wand, but if they do save, they drop their metal weapon)
Blistering Invective (30' radius intimidate check, save or catch fire)
Touch of Mercy (for you and your allies when you prefer not to kill your enemies)

Ill omen is your basic no-save spell for a wand. It might be one of your standard examples of course. Glitterdust as an anti-invisible enemies spell might be worthwhile too. It was recently pointed out to me that burst of radiance only has a save for the blinding, not for the damage. 5d4 (or 10d4 intensified, if you're willing to pay thru the nose) untyped damage with no attack roll & no save damage, long range and a 10' radius burst could be useful sometimes.

(Serren's) swift girding might be useful for some parties, or even for yourself if you want to switch from sorcerer casting mode to paladin tanking mode.

Silence cast on an object, or a cooperative creature doesn't care about saves.

Greater detect magic is more of a scroll spell than a wand spell IMO, but if you're into that sort of thing you might like multiple castings.

If you can get wands of spells on the medium list (with its reduced levels) there are several spying spells you might like (scrying, vicarious view, lesser object possession), or even greater invisibility, true seeing, teleport or lesser planar binding if you're made of money.

Grand Lodge

Keep watch, moment of greatness, detect secret doors, psychic detect thoughts, paladin honey tongue mount, alarm, longstrider.

Mage armor is good for everyone if there are ghosts about.

Heighten awareness is my top level 1 wand.

Blade lash is free trip optimization.

Borrow skill pretty useful for skill "rerolls'

Fog, wall and pit spells all have non save effects.

Most touch attack save spells shocking grasp, frostbite etc.

Calcific touch.

Acid Arrow.

@ AVR burst of radiance is such a good spell vs evil, it is also a light spell which once shut off regeneration.

Looks like you already took some paladin, but for regular sorcs who are good alignment a wand of Bestow Grace is great, since you have high CHA.

Offensively, you could consider Fog Cloud, and have your party use Goz Masks or Fogcutting Lenses to ignore the effects. Course if you're investing that much in this strategy, you'd probably just take it as a spell known.

Another similar option is Deeper Darkness if your party has Darkvision.

If your party mostly has range or flying, the difficult terrain you get from Entangle can be very useful if there are plants around, and it;'s only a level 1 spell.

Strong Jaw is good if you or someone else in the party polymorphs.

Unfortunately, two of those spells are above level 4 and not eligible for wands. But I just looked into Soften Earth & Stone on the druid's list and that seems fairly wild.

...right. Shows you how much I use wands beyond the basic CLW, Mage Armor, Magic Missile, etc.
