Hi all, I’ve looked everywhere that I can online and I don’t see that anyone even mentions this combination.
Sap + Deadly enchantment + sap adept + sap master
This should give lethal damage to a sap, and the extra lethal damage due to the feats.
Questions:
1) Does this combination work?
2) Do the feats not work with the Deadly enchantment because the feats say “non lethal”
3) Does it not work because the feats say “when a weapon does non lethal damage” implying the weapon can do lethal damage. For example a mace doing non lethal damage?
4) Some other reason?
It would be cool if it did work though. Thanks.

Basically what Gisher said. The feats only trigger on non-lethal attacks. The damage you deal with the Sap and Deadly combination is lethal. Therefore, the feats won't apply.
Even if you got a Mace with the Merciful enhancement, the sneak attack damage is lethal, which means the feats won't apply.
Both the weapon damage and the sneak attack must be non-lethal by default for the feats to apply.

Enforcer twf sap user with sap master and Shatter Defenses does a ton of damage in nonlethal. A slayer with the menacing ranger combat style excels in that, and that makes for a really fun combo.
At level 7 you're at 4 attacks that deal a bonus of 8d6+6 NL per attack in addition to normal weapon damage. It's a very feat intensive build, requiring Accomplished Sneak Attacker, improved TWF, and sap master, but it works!
