The stalker vigilante has the option to get a lot of the rogue class abilities via vigilante talents such as evasive (gives evasion and eventually improved evasion), lethal grace (gives weapon finesse and a damage boost), stalker sense (gives uncanny dodge and eventually improved uncanny dodge) and the ability to get rogue talents.
I was surprised when I couldn't find a way to give them Trapfinding or something similar that would allow them to disable magical traps.
Is there a way outside of using the Trap Finder campaign trait from Mummy's Mask to allow this?
Although this is for a home game, I would also like to know if any method is PFS legal.

As far as I know, the only way to get trapfinding (in PFS) is through class levels in one of the classes/archetypes that get it.
Outside of PFS, I don't see any reason why your gm can't just give you a vigilante talent that gives you trapfinding.

Not sure if PFS legal but if your GM allows it you can use the Trap Finder trait.

That's a campaign trait, so not available in PFS or really appropriate if you are doing any of the other modern APs, which have their own campaign traits you are assumed to take.

There is a 'Trapfinding' talent for Slayers.
However, I don't think I have seen a 'Slayer talent' option for any of the other classes yet. If there is one then you could do some sort of chain through Vigilante/Rogue/Ninja to get to it.
Also, if you can get the Disable Device skill unlocks that will eventually allow you to disarm magical traps even without trapfinding.
Otherwise, if the campaign trait is excluded, I think the only other option would be a dip in to one of the various classes which gives the ability.

I feel like most GMs in home games are going to allow that trait in games where magical traps are going to be a big deal (that's why it exists in that AP) so no one feels obligated to play a rogue.
The reason a stalker vigilante doesn't get a trapfinding ability is that the fantasy of the vigilante is more of a "Batman" type than an "Indiana Jones" type and Batman doesn't have to defuse traps, so much as get out of them once they're triggered.
Consider investing in UMD and keeping a wand of trapfinder's focus in your utility belt, if all else fails.
