As in the title, what material can I use in PFS without owning any handbook? For example,
Race:
- do I have to stick to the core races (Dwarf, Human...) or can I play also those permitted by the PFS guide (Tengu, Wayang...)?
- can I select any Alternate Racial Traits?
Class:
- can I play Base Classes (Alchemist, Oracle...) or am I limited to the Core ones (Cleric, Wizard...)?
- can I use archetypes? If so, which ones?
- can I use racial Favorite Class Bonuses?
Traits:
- can I select two traits from the Character Traits Web Enhancement?
Please feel free to add any other information that I've missed.
Thank you all in advance. Bye :)

From what I understand you can only use items from materials that you own, or can access. As in, you are supposed to show any GM who has questions about your character where you acquired said feat/trait/race. Either in hard copy or in a print-off from the actual source (not the Wiki).

You are supposed to pick up a core rule book soonish.

Thank you all :)
Another question, if I may. Are there any clear rules in PFS about familiars (not animal companions) wielding weapons? What about Improved familiars?
It is intended that animal companions or familiars can not activate magic items. An animal companion could benefit from an item with a continuous magical effect like an amulet of natural armor if its master equipped the item for the animal companion. Animal companions of any type may not use manufactured weapons.
Animal companions are also limited by their individual anatomies. In Pathfinder Society Organized Play, animal companions always have access to barding and neck-slot items so long as they have the anatomy. For example, a horse and pig can always have access to barding and neck-slot items. A snake does not have access to either. However, an item called out to be used by a specific animal is usable by that animal regardless of slot.
Additionally, animal companions have access to magical item slots, in addition to barding and neck, as listed on the inside front cover of the Animal Archive so long as they select the Extra Item Slot feat. The Animal Magic Item Slots table found in Animal Archive is not a legal except under the following conditions. First, an animal companion, familiar, or bonded mount, may choose one slot listed under its body type when taking the Extra Item Slot feat (this feat may be taken multiple times, each time selecting a different available magic item slot based on the creature’s anatomy). Second, access to specific magic item slots may be granted at a later date by another legal source. If you do not own a copy of the Animal Archive, your animal companion may only use barding and neck-slot items.
An animal or familiar has to have an intelligence of 3+ to activate an ioun stone. If the animal or familiar has less than a 3 intelligence, they may not activate an ioun stone.
The brownie, faerie dragon, imp, lyrakien azata, mephit, quasit, sprite familiars, granted by the Improved Familiar feat, use the Biped (hands) section of the chart. The carbuncle and voidworm protean, familiars granted by the Improved Familiar feat, uses the Serpentine section of the chart. If you do not own a copy of the Animal Archive, your animal companion may only use barding and neck-slot items.
Some people read that as animal companions and familiars having the same weapon and magic item rules, some don't. The FAQ does get a little confusing at times as to when it's speaking of animal companions and familiars or just animal companions. It's a matter of table variation and because of that i would not make a character around the idea of a weapon using familiar.

In order to use content from sources outside the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook, a player must bring a physical copy of the resources or a name-watermarked Paizo PDF of the relevant pages, as well a current copy of the additional resources listing. You must inform the GM that you plan to use additional resource material before play begins and allow the GM to use your material to familiarize herself with any new material.

Removed a handful of posts. All Paizo PDF products (with the exception of a handful of Community Use Package items) carry a watermark. Paizo published PDFs are also only legally available via the paizo.com webstore. This thread is not an appropriate venue to debate the legality of watermarked PDFs, and if you'd like to discuss that topic, please take it to another thread. Thanks!
