Id Ragers without Slam Attacks

From what I understand, according to PFS rules an id rager Bloodrager only gains the abilities/powers granted by an emotional focus the way a phantom does, and not the basic abilities that come from just being a phantom like ability score increases and whatnot. I presume this means that the id rager this does not receive a phantom's slam attacks. So what happens when an ability granted by an emotional focus improves or alters a slam attack, like Zeal's Ruthless Combatant ability? Does the ability instead apply to unarmed strikes? Weapon attacks?

If the Id Rager gains a slam attack through other means, the bonuses gained through his Atavistic Rage apply to them.

However, if he lacks a slam attack, he can't use the abilities that trigger off of it.

You don't get slam attacks. If you did, the Id Rager would be a great archetype.

It still is a great Archetype, it's just that only a couple of the Foci are worth taking.

And one of the greatest foci worth taking... isn't listed as one of the emotional foci you can take. Which just makes things more complicated.

Just use a breaststrike club. It counts as whatever type of natural attack it takes the form of for feats and spells.
