Is there any interest in this game? I'd like to run it on these boards, if anyone is interested. Reply with your PFS character name, character level and a brief description of the character.
Huzzah!
A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 7–11.
The cataclysmic Earthfall shattered the ancient Thassilonian civilization, and like its slumbering runelords who fled the destruction, many ruins lie hidden. The Ironbound Archipelago was once part of Edasseril, kingdom of envy, and word has reached the Pathfinder Society that an ancient ruin has emerged on the isle of Flintyreach. Can the PCs gain the local half-orcs’ trust and brave the resident giants’ wrath to secure this archaeological treasure?
Written by John Compton and Linda Zayas-Palmer.

sure, i have an idea for a lore warden fighter from a small colony in Arcadia, he is an intelligent dirty fighter who used to be a paladin but quit after a friend died.
I just made him for a different campaign but didn't get picked, i would need to update him for the campaign but this is what i got for his so far.
His name is Garidan Lafayette
and i would need to bring him up to level 7, no big deal though
Garidan wears a chain-mail shirt underneath his clothing, a black shirt and a red scarf. He keeps a small locket with the picture of a woman on his person. Blond hair and grey eyes, he keeps his hair tied back.
Garidan personality wise is kind of a smart ass. He is used to being alone and has little experience making friends as most people dislike him are put off by his rather blunt attitude. He's honest to a fault, he doesn't lie to make people feel better, he tells them things they may not want to hear. He keeps many journals on himself for the purpose of recording data, he can be kind of obsessed when it comes to recording these statistics. He does so as it helps him gauge difficulty and find weaknesses in friend or foe.
Random Garidan quotes
Everyone loves a hero. They cheer for them, scream their names, and years later they'll tell how they stood for hours in the rain just to get a glimpse of the one who told them to hold on a second longer. I believe there's a hero in all of us, that's why people need to learn to rise to the occasion and fight for themselves become their own heroes. I won't fight their battles for them, i'll help if their's something in it for me but saving individuals isn't my priority destroying the greater evil is.

Not really, i just make a character and do this for fun, don't really pay much attention to the official record keeping or what not . it complicates what should otherwise be a simple fun table top.
I follow the build rules, update when needed. it's worked for me so far and nobodies said anything about it
if there was more of a showing for this i wouldnt have said anything but seems like there isnt so i did

I have nothing available in this tier (unless I were to play the same character in two PbPs... What's the ruling on that? I've never been able to find it), but how would you feel about pregenerated characters? I'd love to play a game with multiple iconics (although I can see how that wouldn't appeal to most).

Twigs: all people I know apply this to PbP:
Running Multi-Session Adventures
Since sanctioned modules and Adventure Paths are multisession events, Pathfinder Society characters may not be used in other Pathfinder Society events until they receive a Chronicle sheet for the sanctioned content.
I have a lvl 9 wizard that is available, although I need to update his profile.
Faeranduil is confident that he is the elven gift to the Pathfinder Society and that he should be doing research, not go on dungeon delves. This assignment would be good for him, although he will most likely be bored with the tedious job of gaining the trusts of these half-orcs. However, researching archaeological treasure is what he does best.
He is usually followed by a floating disk with two large chests on them, filled with all kinds of useful stuff.
GM, you might want to advertise this game in the Flaxseed Lodge

I'd love to jump into this game! I've got a level 10 Inquisitor who may be available, need to check on a scheduling thing.
If I can't play him, I'd be happy to play a pregen as well, likely the swashbuckler or the hunter - but if we want to go old-school iconics, I've got a soft spot for Ezren. Though it looks like we already have a wizard in the mix.
Kazzok Odolgun |
A grumpy looking dwarf walks in to the briefing. "I heard a little bird in the Flaxseed Lodge saying that youse guys were in need of angents. Well here I am! Kazzok Odolgun's the name, and alchemy's my game. Let's just hope this mission goes better than the last one I was one. Turned out to be quite deadly..."
Kazzok is an 8th level alchemist (I'll update his character info when I get home). If the rest of you prefer tier 10-11, I'll switch to either a bard or a sorcerer, both level 10.

Whether I play my inquisitor or a pregen (leaning swashbuckler at the moment), I'll be in melee, and they both have decent AC (with judgment up, inquisitor's AC is 34). So there's some meatshielding there.
Since Harsk is a ranged guy (and so very, very effective at it), another melee type would be a good thing.
Lucija Lal Rani |
A well-dressed, comparatively imposing-looking gnomish woman strides into the briefing room, followed by a freakish-looking serpentine entity floating through the air as though it were water. "I understand you need *power.* I have that."
How's a level 8 (pre-Unchained) Summoner sound? The higher-tier option makes me a bit nervous, but I wouldn't let it stop me if we had enough other higher-level characters.
