Grippli miniature?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hello everyone!

I'm currently GMing a game for my son and nephews, and I would like to add a Grippli NPC into the mix that can join their party. We've been using miniatures for all PCs and major enemies thus far, and I'd like to do the same for the Grippli. Does anyone know of any good miniatures for this race? Most of the ones I've seen are more savage looking. Ours will be a knight, kind of like this:

A knightly frog

Pow!

I came across that one not too long ago. It looks pretty battle-hardened, whereas I'm looking for something a little more....cute. In the end, I'll probably have to use that one, though.

Some Reaper frogmen , more Frogmen by Reaper I think and ye oldeRal Partha 11-531 Bullywugs. (more bullywug minis)

More Stonehaven Grippli. I like the bowyer...

Dark Sword Miniature has some nice & hilarious frog people including a frog bishop, bard & more... (Check picture search.)

(Sorry for lmgtfy linkage, apparently I can't get urls from google searches on my iPhone)

Wow. I really like the things that Dark Sword has. I never really cared for anthropomorphic characters, but these are great. I don't think I'm making one NPC anymore; it's going to be a whole party. Thanks for the links!

There's also "Leaping Boggard" and "Boggard Warrior" from lost coast PF battles. . . I really like the leaping one.

Yeah, the Dark Sword ones are great. I have the Jester.

Arise, thread! Thread, arise!

I'm looking for some grippli minis that are closer to the Golarion interpretation (skinny like tree frog, not bulky like Boss Nass). Have any new grippli minis come out in the last couple of years?

Blahpers, take a look at the Stonehaven ones. They're even available from Amazon. I have four of them and they seem pretty consistent with Golarion grippli.

Otherworld miniatures has some wonderful Boglings.

Here are some of mine, with older 70s-vintage Dragontooth lizardmen in the background.

This is a closer view of some old Dragontooth Ranideans. Sadly, no longer available. But I just had to show them off. <g>

Not to mention These Dragontooth lizardmen.

Thank you for tolerating my inner geek.

But you're right, they are more savage, not really knight material.

Thanks, Redelia! Those are definitely the closest I've seen so far with respect to proportion and overall character. Dark Sword's offerings have better flavor but just aren't the right proportions/kind of frog for the sort of grippli in Paizo's excellent artwork.

I may have to dust off Blender and see if I can bend my limited skills to the task.

I did not like any of the ones online, so I sculpted one from scratch. Frogs are much easier to sculpt than people if you want some advice PM me.
