Except, it turns out that while I was away, my eleven hour shift was cut down to seven. I go to the Hospital for a serious medical condition, and return to find my hours have been cut. Typical. :(

:(

*hugs*

*accepts hugs* Thanks, Rysky. Maybe I can talk to my supervisor about getting extra hours somewhere else. If not, I could ask for an assignment that has 40 hours a week. If that doesn't work, I'll apply for a part-time job to make up more than the difference.

*nods*

I'm hoping things work out for you.

I don't find Bloatmages ugly per se, though I am concerned about the murderous rage and hemorrhaging thing.

Marsh Giant on the other hand, are, ya'know, monstrous in what they do and how they go about things.

I like how her opinion is based more on their personalities instead of their physical appearances.

One particular thread has the "Most regrets from reading thread ever" title. I am making myself not post cause it would not end amiably. I flagged a little but I don't want to reread half that garbage to find additional flagging. I'm actually kind of amazed it hasn't been shut down yet. whats up with that? (you know which one.)

Congratulations.

For myself, I received my 10th anniversary (of my hire date) bonus check today. As of Friday, I've been there 12 years.

You misunderstand me. I was off for three months on doctor's orders due to a Pituitary tumor. I've been a Security Guard for over 20 years.

Still, congrats on being back. Especially under those reasons for being off.

Thanks.

It is true that mites were formerly gremlins. However…

How do you deal with writer's block, Rysky?

*Bump*

Hey Rysky, Dragoncat asked a question days ago and still no response!

This is sad, unless you are suffering from writer's block in which case I'll just sit back and enjoy the suffering! >:)

Sorry for the delay, wasn't seeing x new posts by the side.

Go do something else is what I usually do, basically try something else until a different idea pops in, hopefully. Read, play video games, watch a show you'd actually watch and not just as background noise. Keep your mind active but let it work on different things.

Or take a nap.

Tripwires, Hunt. Look into them.

*places a copy of Master Pugwampi's Expert Guide on Trap Making: Mame your Family and Friends for Fun and Profit! under precariously dangling "writer's block" trap*

Here, I will leave you some reading material on the subject.

writers block: yeah take a break and do something else for awhile. Works for me too.

Two weeks from Yesterday, on Monday, October 2nd, will be my Fiftieth Birthday.

Happy preemptive birthday!

Thanks.

Np.

Rysky, what do you think about the fact that Poundland (the equivalent of your dollar stores, I believe) are now selling intimate self-stimulation devices?

I know you didn't ask me that
But I would like to say I feel strongly mixed feelings :0
They're more bad than good xD

Right now? Mostly stuff to do with a homebrew campaign.

I find writing campaigns so difficult, balancing an idea with not railroading.
That is why I gave up and went to novels xD.

Silver Crusade

*nods*

It's definitely a challenge, but I've found it works to just think of set pieces and throw out little hooks to nudge the players along, and then design everything else as they comes across it.

I think I just clicked on a way I could do it xD

Silver Crusade

Woohoo!

The worst part for me is always engineering their meeting initially
I think I might just leave it up to them to decide how they know eachother initially.

Silver Crusade

*nods*

Hard, but it can also be the most fun.

Mistress Rysky,

If skittermanders come in different colors, couldn't you collectively refer to a group of them as a "rainbow"?

{sarcasm}What? No Skittle Setting for the caramelization cauldron?{/sarcasm} :P

That's my problem; my brain keeps trying to instead name them as skittlemanders.

Maybe you can buy a small pouch/bag of dehydrated skittermanders and just rehydrate them like sea monkeys?

{whispers:} Be thankful she hasn't worked out a polymorph into skittermander spell or some kind of skittermander-ing transformation gun.

Edit: A pouch of candy that works like russet mold, except instead of vegepygmy, it turns the eater into a skittermander?
