Hello everyone I am new to PFS and am trying to make a Skald (for the first time), I wanna get maximum benefit out of my song buffs (inspire rage) and am confused about the rules for rage and applying morale bonuses.
Archetypes, favors, and traits are not allowed in this campaign.
Skald 4
Human
STR 16 (+1)
DEX 12
CON 14
INT 12
WIS 11
CHA 18 (+2)
FEATS
Skald's Vigor

I only have 30hp compared to other heavy hitters in the party (one person has 51 hp) and we're mainly bruisers with a barbarian hence the inspire rage song will synergize well with the group. Some posts recommend switching to half-orc for the bonus from Amplified Rage, but does that apply +4 bonuses to the song aswell, effectively meaning that Raging Song is a form or rage or lesser rage?
Lastly, is there anything else I can do to increase my role as a buffer and bruiser?
EDIT: There are also arguments about taking a dip into Bloodrager, but I don't understand why. Is it because I can rage and further increase my stats coupled with Inspired Rage?

(I can't edit my post for some reason so I'm posting here)
I have chosen half orc with
Skald 3 | Bloodrager 1
STR 16 (+1)
DEX 12
CON 14
INT 12
WIS 11
CHA 18 (+2)
Skald's Vigor
Amplified Rage
I still don't understand how the +8 STR / CON using Inspired rage comes from, I know Inspired Rage from Amplified Rage will grant +4's but how does Bloodrager make this +8

what you are supposed to do with Bloodrager is take a specific bloodline (abberant i believe) and take the abberant tumor feat to give you a familiar, make it a Valet Familiar so it shares your teamwork feats, and when you make it rage as a skald you are both raging so amplified rage boosts you and your familiar

Skald Amplified Rage 101 incoming:
The key part of Inspired Rage to remember is this (bolded part):
Inspired Rage (Su) At 1st level, affected allies gain a +2 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution and a +1 morale bonus on Will saving throws, but also take a –1 penalty to AC. While under the effects of inspired rage, allies other than the skald cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration. At 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter, the song's bonuses on Will saves increase by 1; the penalty to AC doesn't change. At 8th and 16th levels, the song's bonuses to Strength and Constitution increase by 2. (Unlike the barbarian's rage ability, those affected are not fatigued after the song ends.)If an ally has her own rage class ability (such as barbarian's rage, bloodrager's bloodrage, or skald's inspired rage), she may use the Strength, Constitution, and Will saving throw bonuses, as well as AC penalties, based on her own ability and level instead of those from the skald (still suffering no fatigue afterward). However, inspired rage does not allow the ally to activate abilities dependent on other rage class abilities, such as rage powers, blood casting, or bloodrager bloodlines; the ally must activate her own rage class ability in order to use these features.
The part that is bolded is relevant for two reasons.
1) It shows that Inspired Rage is, in fact, a rage class ability.2) It allows you to take the bonuses you get from Bloodrager in place of the regular Inspired Rage bonuses.
Now, Bloodragers (and any character with a bloodline) have the option of trading out their first-level bloodline power for a familiar. If you make it a Valet familiar, it automatically is counted as having all the teamwork feats you have. Cue, since it is affected by raging song, it helps you permanently meet the prerequisite of Amplified Rage.
Whenever you are raging and adjacent to a raging ally who also has this feat or flanking the same opponent as a raging ally with this feat, your morale bonuses to Strength and Constitution increase by +4.
Hence - due to your dip in Bloodrager, you can choose to gain +4 Str/Con +2 Will -2 AC from Inspired Rage, and Amplified Rage kicks in and adds a further +4 to the Str/Con bonuses.
Your total bonuses should then be +8 Str / +8 Con / +2 Will, -2 AC, and since you are ultimately getting +8 Strength from your song, Skald's Vigor gives you Fast Healing 8 starting the second round of you performing.
Pretty neat, I'd say :)

But this states 'If an ally has her own rage class ability' it doesn't state myself. How is this interpreted to mean that I can use my own Bloodrager bonus.
