Base Speed 0?


Rules Questions


A merfolk base land speed is 5. If you make a merfolk oracle, and pick the lame curse, is your base speed 0?

If only DC had listened to that moral when they were thinking up Aquaman. =p

good point, you cant have a lame foot/leg if you dont have a leg or foot...

That was a joke more than anything. I've never met a GM who wouldn't allow a Lame Merfolk, if they allowed Merfolk and Oracles [the former is much much rarer than the latter].


You can't take 5 ft-step if your base landspeed is 5 ft too, if I remember accurately the 5 ft-step description. ^^"


A merfolk oracle with the strong tail alternate racial, the flame mystery and the cinder dance revelation on the other hand would look quite playable with 25ft movement.

IIIRC you can move 5 ft. as a full round action with 0 speed.
