I've been looking around on the forums for a bit now, but almost everyone on seems to be in a different time zone, so any good PbPs are full whenever I'm even awake to check.
I'm a new player to PbPs, but I have done a bit of roleplaying in the past. character-wise, I prefer divine spellcasters (mostly paladins). I'd prefer it to be on this forum.
So yeah, if you are a GM looking for an enthusiastic player for your group, send me a PM!

Hiya Tin Can. Speaking as someone also new to PbP and a fellow Aussie, I haven't found the time zone difference to be that much of a problem, provided you try to post at least once per day in any game that you get in to. As for getting into a campaign before it's full, I think that it's just a matter of persistence, and being sensible when designing your characters, both with your build and your backgrounds. I've joined four campaigns in the last month, which is my limit for the number of games I can actively participate in, but I failed to get into half-a-dozen others before I reached that cap as well. Good luck.

Yeah, just apply to those that interest you, any maybe one or two more. ;) It took awhile for me to get accepted into one, and then all of a sudden I was practically in too many. Aziza gave great advice, and I second it. Just mention to GMs your time zone when you apply to their game, so they don't think you're just a nopo (non-poster). Good luck and be persistent and I'm confident you'll get into a game soon!

Generally what those posting above have said.
Being in such a radically different time zone doesn't make that much of a dint in your game.
Just watch out for games where players 'meet up' at around the same 'time' and hence can all keep an eye on fresh posts and reply quickly.
