Prompts to connect play-by-post threads to campaign, or create new campaign should work properly.
Just tried to do this with my latest campaign and it seems to have nuked the thread and I can't see it. It shows up on my campaign page - but if I try and click through I get:
This - a blank page without any thread details
Or This - or same
Or This - or same
Just chucking it up for attention :) - I love the work you guys continue to do for the PbP section and am more than fine living with temporary goblins in the wires.

Are you by chance on an older iPhone? It looks OK (not great, but OK) on IOS 6, but Sara sent me a screen shot of her phone which hasn't been updated yet, and it's kind of terrible. I don't think we'll have a chance to update this before Monday but it's possible we might.
I am on an older iPhone but the software is up to date. As others have said, it looks really bad - the type in the forums are all jammed together etc.
If it helps your troubleshooting, the problem seems to be in the forums only - everything on the main page, store blog, pathfinder tales pages look fine.
Looking forward to the fix on Monday :)

As an update - the thread still functions for others, but to make / read a post I need to go into another profile and 'reply' to an existing post to get in.
I am a poster to the same thread that DMVoV is discussing and I cannot get into it either. It is a blank page. There is also at least one other poster who can no longer get into the thread.
This began sometime between 5:26 am and 6:08 am CDT this morning as I was able to see it just fine when I made a post but when DMVoV made the next post, I could not get in to see it. Hope this helps.

There's a thread in the online campaigns/recruitment threads that I can't access at all.
When I click on it I've just a blank screen with "Online Campaigns" appearing at the top of it.
The thread's title is Exile: Escape from the Pit Pathfinder Campaign Recruitment.
By the way, I run the latest version of Firefox on a MacBook Pro.
Also, I'd like to thank Gary Teter for all the work he's putting on fixing the recent website issues. I understand that website upgrading is always a delicate endeavor.
It's nice to see that the Paizo people are striving to deliver the best experience to their customers, as usual.

I completely agree. The responses and the efforts they've gone to are fantastic, especially when they also have to put up with whining from those of us denied our forums fix.

I agree as well.
Thanks Gary.

Hi Gary,
I can't seem to reach a discussion thread (which NomadSage mentioned isn't linked to a Campaign tab yet); it is http://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75hohqa/discussion.
Thank you for all the hard work!
Ditto! I also mentioned that HERE. =)

Gary kept insisting it was fine. And it is. On his phone. I showed him mine and he was all like "oh wow, that's pretty bad."
It was pretty bad on firefox mobile for android before this update, not sure how it is now.
It also has some issues in stock browser for Android, where things don't line up with where they are on the screen. So you try to hit he Submit button, and it doesn't work, since the submit button is actually one "screens" worth of movement over. I thought it might be the browser, but this is the only site where something like that happens.

Just checking in to see if there's any update on the iPhone display issue of the forums?
Thanks!

I would really like to add Jiggy's thread to my Pathfinder Society list, but I can't get it to work. I've tried both listing the thread and listing the first post. Firefox 16.0.2.

Okay, something's wrong.
Before the update I had the majority of the Recruitment Threads hidden (they're closed, so no point and having them clutter my screen).
After the update, they're all back.
Worse, now when I hide one and then leave the site, when I come back, it's no longer hidden!
I think that is because before the update the old threads fell into the archive - now there isn't an archive (instead everything is considered active) and there is a max number of threads that you can hide. So if you've already hit your max either is unhides something that you had hidden, or just doesn't hide the new thread you are trying to hide? I'm not really sure on this part.
I think that max is 1,000.

Searching Jason Bulmahn's posts, and then trying to sort by Newest, causes the search to go to expand to everything on the site. Clicky here, then Sort By Newest.

We're rolling out some updates over the next half hour or so.
Improvements and bug fixes:
- Better display of messageboards on mobile devices. We're still working on this, and IE support.
- Fix rare bug creating messageboard thread with BBCode markup problems.
- Fix bugs adding items to wishlists.
- Fix links and tabs for untitled campaigns.
- Fix links for RSS feeds for messageboard threads, product threads and campaign threads.
- Fix bug where sorting search results for sorting person's posts would show facets.
- Fix RSS feed for wishlists containing product pages.
- Fix display of avatar title/subscriber status when previewing posts.
There are others but they're mostly under the hood.

Message boards on my iPhone look MUCH better!
The only odd thing now is that the Forum Search box is down inline with the forums instead oh in the upper right corner
Yeah, it's a little awkward. But it's less awkward than having it take a little portion of the side and leave a bunch of white space. I don't know. We're not doing a redesign of that just yet, so we needed to keep the structure the same. Basically, this was, I think, the less awkward choice here. The actual forum message list pages aren't all that much of an improvement but they should be more readable. That said, the thread page is MUCH better on iPhone. We're kind of dictated by structure right now. It's still in flux though, but now, at least, we have ios 6 and ios5-4 on the same page there.

I am still unable to add this thread to this list. However, there's a new wrinkle: I just discovered that I'm also unable to delete this empty list.

Lost 4 posts as of late sending me to the screen that says:
"Sorry
The requested URL was not found on this server, or you do not have permission to access this area."So annoying.
Make that 5 posts.
Friggin' sigh.
Nothing like typing for 20 minutes and then it's just gone.
double sigh...with a side of sighing
Grrrr

If you use Firefox, get this plugin. It's very helpful for those situations, Xenh.

Agreed, Lazarus has been a must-have extension for these forums since long before now. It's also available for Chrome if you prefer that to FireFox.

Oh, they got rid of the Archive?
Why?
It would be nice to bring the Archive back...

Yep - just ran into this one when trying to post a product review.

Just to be clear - they did not get rid of any of the threads that were archived - thy are all now in the active forum (which is why the active forums are now way more than 5 pages long), not in the 'archived threads' section.
As for the Why? - I think Gary explained it in one of his posts, but I am not sure.

JohnF, I'm trying to duplicate your problem but am having difficulty figuring out exactly what happened. After you previewed your review, what did you click on?
I fixed a typo (at least one always seems to show up on a preview), then clicked on the "Submit" button (or whatever it's called) which took me to the "Sorry" screen.
I then (without much hope) tried the "back" button to see if the text was still around, but no such luck.

We've rolled the site with some more bug fixes and new features:
There is a new "x" next to the "(x new)". Clicking that x will clear the "x new" for that thread and stop tracking new posts until you visit the thread again.
Improve user interface on Goblinworks Kickstarter pledge widget.
Fix recent threads box on iPhone.
Display company name in product discussion threads lighter so visual weight is more balanced.
Fix bug preventing some people from receiving private messages.
Improvements to wishlist display.
Support for sekrit Pathfinder Adventure Card Game playtest forums.
Other bug fixes and performance improvements.

Love, love, love!
You don't know how many times I've clicked on the wrong thread by accident or read something that wasn't what I thought it was going to be from the title or started reading a thread that degenerated into something else entirely and I wanted to be rid of. I have them all hidden now, but I'm about to have them stopped tracking! :D
