The Oracle of Heavens on its final revelation gains the ability to reincarnate into a "star child".

Maybe I am blind but I don't believe it says anywhere what a star child is. I don't think my GM will buy the line of reasoning that since a Solar is refenrce to sun and that a sun is really a star that it means I can reincarnate into a Solar :)

Can we possibly get a clarification as to what a "Star Child" is?

i think the term star child is just fluff. the line (treat as the reincarnate spell). is what you should probably go by

Correct. "Star child" is merely a flavorful way of saying "A reincarnated oracle." And an easter egg to 2001, I suppose.

Perhaps in the future this won't be fluff? Just really only hoping because it sounds really cool. Reminds me of from that old TV series of V, you know with the mice eating lizards who came to steal water and use us for food?

Or a nod to Paul Stanley of Kiss!

In Fortress of the Stone Giants p.89, under Theories of the origin section, in the Shining Children entry, they mention the Shining may be Star Children. Meaning they are the reflection of a dying star given life.

You can get full stats block for the Shining Children on p.88

They don't seem to be a character race though.
