Just read it, a fun read. I like your vision of how golem become awakened. Do you know about the life-spark template from green ronin advanced bestiary?

I'm aware of the template, and I considered putting a mention in, but just giving the Golem mental scores and feats comes pretty close to emulating the template anyway.
