This Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild scenario bundle is suitable for starting characters. The bundle contains six scenarios, an adventure card, the adventure path card for Season of the Runelords, and Chronicle sheets for players to keep track of their progress.

All hail! The Runelord Karzoug is dead!

It is hard to imagine that such a feat could be accomplished, yet in the high peaks of Xin-Shalast, a band of hardy adventurers defeated the Runelord of Greed. He conspired to bring a realm of nightmares into our world, but the adventurers sealed the Runewell. What this meant for Golarion was salvation.

But what does it mean for you?

That, at the moment anyway, is hard to determine. For adventurers such as yourselves, the siren song of the unexplored regions of Hollow Mountain is difficult to resis. That said, you could imagine meeting your doom there, so you'd better get prepared. Those other heroes began their journey in Sandpoint, so you will head there first. There you will gain supplies, sharpen your skills, and make your reputation.

The scenarios included are:

  • Goblins? Gross!
  • The Problem with Dragons
  • Small Town Politics
  • Cut Them Off at the Source
  • Midwife Crisis
  • Good with Ketchup

A wonderful addition.

5/5

I'm taking 3 groups of 2 characters each through this Season. The 6 included scenarios are varied and interesting. I'm super happy to have a great reason to play RotR again; in some ways it is my favorite of all the boxes, it just feels so... classic.

On to #2-2!

So do I understand it well: this is a pdf documentum for 6 usd which contains 8 cards?

What products do I need for the game other than the base set?

The scenarios, as well as the adventure path "card" and the adventure "card" in this product are more than corresponding cards in the base set. Each is a full page of information. In addidtion you get 3 villain cards that are used in the scenario.

You do not need anything beside the base set to pay. You only need class decks to play if you want to play this in offical PFS form, but they can come in handy in normal play as well.

Thank you very much for the answer!

I'm a little confused. Where is adventure #1?

Pathfinder Maps, Pathfinder Accessories Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Charter Superscriber; Starfinder Charter Superscriber

This is adventure 1 of season 2.

How would one go about printing these cards? What kind of paper/card stock? Inkjet work okay?

Sovereign Court

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

I just print the cards out on regular paper, then put them in front of other cards since all my cards are sleeved. (I bought the RotR Errata set, so I have a bunch of cards that I can use as filler that are the pre-errata'd versions)

I've just purchased this product. There doesn't seem to be any feat increases at all in this scenario pack. I don't think the guys I play with will take that well. Am I missing something?

Feat increases now happen according to character's increase in tiers. Check out the current edition of the Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild Guide.

Hi,
Firstly, I would like to say...
Thank you for these AMAZINGLY fun games!

Secondly, I have a question...
Will these adventures and cards ever be available as a non-pdf physical item for purchase?

I really love the concept of these expanding adventures for pre-existing base sets.

...HUGE Piazo fan,

The plan is for the cards from the guild seasons to be made available for purchase (see Season of the Shackles here). The other parts of the PDF though aren't planned for a physical product. The scenario and adventure powers and text would be too large to turn into cards.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response :)

The 07/06/2016 update today for this seems to be incorrect. 2-1A say chief wortus now has proxy instructions but there are none for him on that adventure they are on 2-1D and they have black fangs icon where it says gogmurt. Just wanted to let someone know.

The Season Of the Runelords adventure path says:

"Complete These Adventures in any Order"

Then all 6 adventures are listed.

Is this correct? You could start at adventure 6 and... work your way back? Is it balanced for that?

Because Pathfinder Adventure Card Guild players who play at multiple locations may not always be able to play scenarios in the order they would prefer, PFSACG scenarios can sort of be played in any order... as long as you're conforming to the rules about which scenarios your character can play, which are provided in the Adventure Card Guild Guide, part of which are quoted below:

Guide wrote:
Your character can play any scenario with an adventure deck number within 1 of his current tier. For example, a Tier 1 character can play any scenario from Adventure 1 or 2 of any season; a Tier 3 character can play any scenario from Adventures 2, 3, or 4.

So while it's not possible to start with 6 and work backwards, it is technically possible to—for example—finish the last scenario of Adventure 2 (thus completing it) after finishing all the scenarios in Adventure 3.

That said, if you have full control over the order in which you play scenarios, I'd recommend playing them as if the Adventure Path and adventure cards say "in the following order."

Perfect explanation, thanks!
