With this face deck in hand, you will have almost every major face card you will need to run all of the great Pathfinder Society scenarios that are out there. You have famous and infamous names alike from your favorite Varisian venture-captain Sheila Heidmarch to the curator of the Blakros Museum and everyone in between.
This deck makes these scenarios come to life and your players will really learn to differentiate between all of the important NPCs in the Pathfinder Society. Must have purchase!!!
I have to hand it to you guys, these cards are fantastic! It's so nice to be able to pull them out and show players who they're talking to. Not only do they include (un)popular Venture-Captains and others closely connected to the Society, but also reoccurring NPCs and NPCs from the more "social" themed scenarios like Blakros Matrimony.
I'd love to see more put out and eventually have all the portraits in every scenario, but I know that'd be asking for a lot. :)
If you GM a lot for PFS these are definitely a great tool to have in your GM kit.
Ooh! Interesting list. I particularly like that we get face cards for all the influencable people from Blakros Matrimony. If I ever run that mod in real life, these face cards will be real nice to have.
What has he to do with the Pathfinder Society and where can i read about this connection?
Thx John.
I recommend checking out the Season 4 (Year of the Waking Rune) plot line.
Slightly more details:
The Krune connection is best represented by the Tier 7–11 scenarios, culminating in Scenario #4–26. It's a fun arc, and I recommend playing through it.
Can a front and back shot of these cards be made available? I want to see if the character names are on them. I am a little hard of hearing in a noisy environment and it would be really nice to be able to read the names from the front. Plus, some of these names can be really difficult to pronounce.
Just musing since my cards that I bought seem to have walked off... as a PFS GM, this is one set that I really wish had also been made available in an electronic format.

I would love to see a PDF version as well. I like to print out the images in the scenarios so the players know who they are dealing with.
It's hard to get into Pathfinder. Nothing is really available. I think the ship has sailed. I want to start getting into this, to run the Emerald Spire and do Society Stuff. I can't get minis for Emerald spire, I can't get the Pathfinder Pawns for the bestiary 1, it's... now this. Maybe I should look into another D20 system. Does fate have more product available still? This now-defunct system looks so awesome, tho.

Wow. I'm not sure what your requirements are for entering a new game, but pawns and face cards aren't required for Pathfinder or Pathfinder Society play. I frequently substitute miniatures, pogs or tokens which don't match the monsters exactly. And a verbal description can be just as good as flashing a picture. Many of the scenarios you download for Pathinder Society have the same picture that is on the cards for the relevant Society leadership. So you can flash a picture from the adventure.
As far as things you NEED to have to play. The Core rulebook and Beastiaries have been reprinted and are widely available.
Please reprint!
I would buy several new decks, one for me (a spare) and some for my PFS GM friends.
And we could really use PFS Face Cards 2. With:
-The new Liberty's Edge Leader.
-The new Concordance Leader.
-VC Brackett (Portrait in new Andoran sourcebook)
-New Master of Spells Sorrina Westyr
-Raginiori
I am not at home (going actualy to GM PFS) but in 5 hours I will put many more!
I second (or third, if my own review also counts?) the hope that these might be reprinted. Given recent announcements, I suspect that isn't likely to be "in the cards" (I'll show myself out now) for us though.
If these aren't coming back...would it be possible for them to perhaps be released as a .pdf or "art pack" of some kind?
