I wanted to try something new and since our party already has an Oracle for blasting power I wanted to try a debuff/buff character with a bit of musician necromancer flavor, I'll be playing on a Free Archetype game starting at level 14. I've been told that Maestro Bard with Hag Sorcerer Archetype is the way to go, though some people have said to me quite harshly that Curse Witch with Bard Archetype for Dirge of Doom would be better, although I'm not sold on the idea, since that would make my build very MAD. This is my first debuff/buff focused character

Witch has an issue getting into bard unless you willingly dump a save stat or play a half-elf and enter via multitalented at 9.
Honestly, it's a toss up. Bard plays better 1-8, has easy access to swashbuckler archetype to poach the one for all feat for easy spammable Aids for your main dpr and all non-combat skill checks and can tech for burst turns with inspire heroics/ fortissimo composition giving +3 to hit on synesthesia turns. I also prefer spontaneous to prepared given how abysmal 99% of the spells in the system are meaning you can easily get away with spamming the same handful as needed.
But resentment witch in the remaster is an absolutely back-breaking debuffer. With the ability to extend slowed 1 (slow, debilitating shot, others), dazzled/blinded (phantasmal doorknob) and clumsy 3 (synesthesia) nigh indefinitely. Takes some time to get going and can't spam out easy Aids or other cha skills like bon mot but is otherwise horrifyingly powerful and comes with a few other really nice feats.

I've been running a Fate Witch (now Spinner of Threads) in PFS that has been a good combo buffer/debuffer.
And I have a level 12 Infinite Eye Psychic specced for debuffing that has been *fantastic*. A Psychic's casting stat can be either INT or CHA, so you should be able to make that work with Bard if you want.

Witch will be defacto debuff caster. A lot of the patrons have a no-save familiar effect, though they are conditional. For example Starless Shadow (Night) needs the familiar to be relatively concealed to the target. Or Resentment (Curse) requiring a spell/effect to be already applied. Or Wilding Steward (Wild) in which it’s the Hex - requiring the enemy to harm the Witch.

I hadn't even given Infinite Eye, how did you build it? You recommend taking Infinite Eye with Bard dedication or Bard with Psychic dedication?

I've played a support oriented Infinite Eye and it was great at doing its thing.
Personally I went with Captivator instead of Bard to alleviate the issue of not having enough slots.
I didn't "love" the bard dedication because Infinite Eye has an abudance of great 1 action spells to fill in the 3rd action of each round and has great options for his focus points already.
Although, to me it seemed that it was mostly focused on "buffing" allies rather than debuffing enemies (basically, slots were used to debuff, focus powers/infinite eye cantrips to buff allies)
