Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar, seeing the others take off after the verbal exchange, briefly pauses to uncork (and subsequently guzzle down) one of his healing potions. He then tears off down the tunnel as the sounds of battle ensue. Enraged that he's missing the fun thus far, he begins to growl and holler incoherently as he stomps forward.

Dwarf Barbarian

Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar shrugs, then his face brightens a little "Fight or squawk?"

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar looks perplexedly around as terrible elevator music momentarily fills the halls

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar gives the ol' grunt'n'shrug, but steps aside for Graymoon to pass.

Dwarf Barbarian

Hooting and laughing at the sight, Gilgar gives thumbs up and nods of approval to the victors, followed by a maniacal smile to the two at the bottom of the pile. He turns and heads off to kill himself a bad king and shaman...

Dwarf Barbarian

Looking more than a little disappointed, Gilgar deflates a bit, and nods once.

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar looks expectantly at Graymoon, hoping for the "kill 'em all" sign. He's begun shifting his weight from one foot to the other repeatedly.

Dwarf Barbarian

Sorry. I was confused by the "you go, they go" stuff, and thought you only wanted one initiative for the party. Here you go, Mr. DM.

Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Dwarf Barbarian

Thanks!

Dwarf Barbarian

Map link, please.

Dwarf Barbarian

Can see changes. Can select avatar. Cannot move avatar.

Dwarf Barbarian

Put Gilgar at the bottom of the "steps", please.

Dwarf Barbarian

Need permission for the map. Have requested it.

Dwarf Barbarian

If someone wants to scout, Gilgar don't care...

Dwarf Barbarian

North it is!

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar, remembering their deal (not to mention having no stomach or inclination to for killing young), stops as soon as the kobold speaks up. He nods once, then says "Where to?"

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar slops and scrambles to the West passage... Once out of the slime, he slowly stands up, scraping slime from his boots and grumbling. Without looking back, he says "Ye comin'?"

Dwarf Barbarian

Well there ya go! A perfect candidate for "rough dissection"!

Gilgar takes a swing at the slurk master, once again from his back.

1-handed MW Adamantine Warhammer Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
MW Adamantine Warhammer 1-handed damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Dwarf Barbarian

Sorry, Mr. DM, but without a visual, I've lost track of everything... Is there a foe, any foe, within Gilgar's striking distance?

Dwarf Barbarian

Nah. Trying to stand up in this crap is pointless for the burly one. He'll just continue to try and make 'em shorter.

Dwarf Barbarian

Seeing a kobold splat into the slime near him, Gilgar half growls, half cackles, and takes a wild swing at the thing.

1-handed MW Adamantine Warhammer Attack: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 8 - 4 = 23
MW Adamantine Warhammer 1-handed damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

"Aye!!!" he hollers at the satisfying sight of his opponent's innards starting to become outers...

Dwarf Barbarian

Hmmm... Oh, why not... I'm never going to be able to stand up in this crap anyway...

Gilgar attacks from the floor...

1-handed MW Adamantine Warhammer Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
MW Adamantine Warhammer 1-handed damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Dwarf Barbarian

Stand attempt (Ref Save): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Gilgar, covered in way too much slime from his painstaking crawl across the floor, tries in vain to stand, flopping back to the floor with a splorp...

Indecipherable curses ensue at an ear-splitting decibel level.

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar keeps slogging towards his next victim(s). Once within melee range, he tries to stand and take a swing.

Dwarf Barbarian

*Bump*

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar's okay with crawling forward. He's not proud.

Dwarf Barbarian

Ref Save to stand: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Gilgar attempts to stand, fails miserably, curses loudly, then at tries to at least squirm closer to a foe.

Dwarf Barbarian

Knowing that he's going to have to deal with not only the monsters, but also the room itself, Gilgar grunts and moves into the slime-covered room...

I'm assuming moving across the room's going to require some checks, so... Take whichever...

Ref Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Dex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

[ooc]With rolls that lousy, I doubt I'll get there, but just on the off chance, Gilgar attacks the slurk with the kobold on it.

1-handed MW Adamantine Warhammer Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
MW Adamantine Warhammer 1-handed damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Dwarf Barbarian

Okeydokey!

Dwarf Barbarian

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 (Must've been enough, he hee...)

Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

"Ye're gunna DIE!!!" Gilgar bellows at the crossbowman

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar follows, warhammer resting on his shoulder.

Dwarf Barbarian

Let's follow the scent.

Dwarf Barbarian

"Hey" Gilgar says to Kimi, "ye need tuh stay wit' thuh kids. Ye keep 'em safe. Aye?"

Gilgar has no problems with the plan, and is happy to be moving again.

Dwarf Barbarian

"I ain't sure if rilin' up miners'd be uh waste uh time 'r no." Gilgar huffs. "I'm fer marchin' room tuh room, killin' them buggers tha' is stupid 'nuff tuh stand 'n fight till we finds our priz'ner..."

You may be getting the impression that Gilgar is possibly overwhelmed by the complexity of the issue, and has thus taken up a bulldozer mentality about the whole thing... Or maybe not.

Dwarf Barbarian

"Th' minemast'r ain't fer bother'n nobody no more." Gilgar hefts his weapon as he makes the statement. "Kill't him las' night."

Dwarf Barbarian

I thought that sounded familiar! Did I kill him? I can't remember. It's been so LOOOONG...

Dwarf Barbarian

"We ain't fer killin' babies." Gilgar states resolutely... "Where'd priz'ners get took tuh?"

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar beats them for their insolent silence! LOL

Dwarf Barbarian

We barricade what portals we can, quiz the kobolds about the ones we can't barricade (i.e. do the tunnels dead-end, link up with other tunnels, etc.), and figure out how to guard them based on that info. I think we should take one or two of the rebels with us as guides, leaving the other bound securely. I think the monk, bard, sorceress, rescued kobolds, and all the kids (with the exception of the determined little girl, if she wants to go) should stay here. The illusionist can come with us, provided he's got some spells to contribute (I know we rested, but I'm wondering about spell components and other consumables). Those are my thoughts.

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar will slug down a couple of potions of clw...

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

LOUSY DICE...

Dwarf Barbarian

Perception 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 (Oh, for the love of...)
Perception 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Dwarf Barbarian

If we don't stick it out, the dude we're trying to rescue is gonna be dead, if he's not already... I don't think leaving is an option. Unless we wanna send part of the group with them.

Gilgar's thoughts would be to temporarily disable the cauldron so it can't be lowered/raised while we rest, put sleepers up against doors so they'll be awakened if the doors are opened (I remember them opening into the room, but I might be mistaken), and set a watch order.

Dwarf Barbarian

Having regained some of his spent energy, Gilgar pushes away from the wall and walks, mostly steadily, to the cauldron. Climbing in he calls up "Friends a'comin' up! No stabbin', ye hear?"

Dwarf Barbarian

Spitting on the kobold carcasses, Gilgar wheels around in search of more enemies, or even the sound of approaching foes. If he hears none, he'll end his rage, slump against the wall gasping for breath, and bleed...

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar snarls and attempts to shorten the kobold that attacked him by at least a hammer strike...

1-handed MW Adamantine Warhammer Attack + Raging: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
MW Adamantine Warhammer 1-handed damage + Raging: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (2, 5) + 5 = 12

Dwarf Barbarian

AoO

1-handed MW Adamantine Warhammer Attack + Raging: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
MW Adamantine Warhammer 1-handed damage + Raging: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (2, 5) + 5 = 12

Round's attack

1-handed MW Adamantine Warhammer Attack + Raging: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
MW Adamantine Warhammer 1-handed damage + Raging: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 3) + 5 = 12

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar glowers down at the new target, and attempts to turn it into so much colorfully clad paste...

1-handed MW Adamantine Warhammer Attack + Raging + assumed flank: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
MW Adamantine Warhammer 1-handed damage + Raging: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (3, 2) + 5 = 10

(3rd rnd of rage?)

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar, taking none-too-kindly to being whacked with a spiked chain, takes a brutal swing at his foe, trying to either reduce it to pulp, or perhaps knock it into another plane of existence...

1-handed MW Adamantine Warhammer Attack + Raging: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
MW Adamantine Warhammer 1-handed damage + Raging: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 3) + 5 = 13

Dwarf Barbarian

Gilgar flies into a rage, complete with gnashing teeth, frothy mouth, and unintelligible rantings as he swings hard at the apparent boss kobold.

1-handed MW Adamantine Warhammer Attack + Raging: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
MW Adamantine Warhammer 1-handed damage + Raging: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (6, 5) + 5 = 16
