I blame Cosmo for not having the last name "Kramer".

...all the PCs are bards and they named their adventuring group "Lolthtallica"

Hi-five to James and the other Paizo employees

I heard a rumor that the interview process at Paizo is just a double jump rope elimination match against Cosmo aka Jumpman. If you stop the rope, he summons his magic and teleports you outside the office with cab fare and a free toke bag. But this is just a rumor....

Good luck to those that apply :)

I don't want my wife putting thoughts into my head. I'll choose the other item thank you.

Star Voter Season 7

Weird, I had to vote for two items with the same name.

Won't be able to kill it. I can't consume that fruitcake blech!

I haven't seen Doctor Who before. Is there a particular season to start watching it?

But yeah Jeff I read SKR's stuff on not just jumping to the calculation tables before using some common sense, first. I'll get there, this is just a lot to absorb.
I understand. Aside from my final nit-picky rereading and editing, pricing the item seems to be the most time-consuming portion of item creation for me.

I agree with you on that.

So if you have flying mount, do you use fly or ride?

Star Voter Season 7

What twists in the past have been used in previous years? I'm sort of confused on the subject. I'm not sure whether to make something basic before hearing the twist.

Only with a fighter have I experienced holding onto a wounded dragon's tail while it's in mid-flight, crying out my family name "Bearhold!" that echo's through the snowy mountain range. That is a moment to be proud about!

Maybe a graveknight is looking to defile the tomb where his previous companions were buried for some sinister purpose.

Since the tomb is supposed to prevent evil from getting in, maybe the use of some holy spells that have been altered can be used.

Oh, and haunts. Seeing a paladins downfall would be neat.

Part of me wishes for a Bigfoot cult.

So does this mostly give adventure seeds for PCs to interact with these cults and their activities?

Is there anything like archetypes or traits?

Hey James. Just wanted to say I like what you and the Paizo team do. Thanks!

Makes me wish there was a PFS in Arkansas. Hope everyone is having a blast :)

Nope. But a Jimmy John's did just open nearby. I'll try it out.

Yep!

Hey James. A while back I asked if one GM and two PCs can run the APs with Mythic rules. The players are now approaching Thistletop from RotRL without any problems. We really enjoy the Mythic rules! We really appreciate you and your fellow Paizo employees for their hard work and can't wait to see more!

Oh yeah! We are also rooting for a Mystic Bestiary for Core or Campaign products.

Thanks again!

I have players that love Pathfinder but some of them avoid arcane and divine classes. They explained that the spells and the rules for those spells were a little daunting so they would just focus on martial. In your opinion, do you think the format of spells are a little complicated for beginners? Were there any ideas during development on the layout of spells?

That's one of the theories. I'd LOVE to see some feedback on how this type of play went. It's not something we specifically playtested for, but it should work pretty well, especially since the rate at which you advance in mythic power is left entirely to the GM.

Cool. I would be willing to provide some feedback on it. Is there a link or file of the Beta Mythic Rules that I could use to try this out?

Creepy Peacock Spirit skeleton

Which faction are players most active on? Alliance or Horde? I was on the Alliance guild and it was kind of empty.

What other works has the contributors to this book done?

I had players ask me if Paizo had ever converted their adventure paths and adventure models into D&D 4E. I answered no but it made me wonder if converting these to 4E would be a good or bad thing. In your opinion, is it possible for Paizo to convert the adventure paths and models to 4E? Why or why not?

A majority of Catfolk are found in Southern Garund? This is why we need a gazetteer!

Oh, no. I meant those to be examples. Since there are softcover books that detail countries and regions such as Land of the Linnorn Kings and Irrisen, is it possible to give the same treatment to Tian Xia countries and regions like Minata or Xa Hoi. My bad for lack of clarity :)

I know there is already a soft cover gazetteer for Tian Xia but what about making soft cover books based on countries or regions, ex. Lands of the Linnorn Kings, Irrisen, etc?

I remember reading somewhere that Holomog has ancestry that traces back to Azlant. Is that correct?

I just looked up aranea characters and the anansi folklore. Southern Garund definitely needs these!

Who here in the forums would want Paizo to publish a gazetteer on Southern Garund? Why or why not?

How are things going in the Skulls & Shackles campaign? Any "That was awesome!" moments?

You should check out the blogspot "Thumbs and Ammo". Its a bunch of pictures from movies where guns are replaced with thumb ups. Great little humor for a Friday.

Will there be a chance to have more Varisian APs in the far future or is it unlikely?

Is there a chance that a gazetteer for the following areas will be released far into the future:

1) Southern Garund

2) Casmaron

Or is the main focus right now on the Inner Sea? Would there have to be enough interest from fans to consider publishing those gazetteers?

I wonder if Mauxpaudi from Chillblight is a winter redcap.

Thank again for the helpful information :) Another question came to mind after I made notes for parts 3 and 4. If the PCs have Hatch come with them to the Pale tower, is it possible for him to suppress the ice walls and open the portcullis if the PCs distract the guards on the wall in area Q1?

Thank you Rob McCreary and Trinite for the information :) It helped with my campaign last night. I'm working on my GM notes for Part 2 of the adventure and I just had a quick question.

Spoiler:
When the PCs take the mantle of the black rider, I'm not sure how to convey that information to them. Do I just openly say that they take the mantle and gain bonuses to their ability scores as long as they try to rescue Baba Yaga? Or do not openly tell them and I explain that for some strange reason they feel compelled to act on the black riders mission and for doing so they gain greater strength?

Quick question about some of the items being sold in Heldren. In the general store I noticed that Vivialla is selling a ring of force shield. Looking up the price on UE it states that it costs 8,500gp. Is that the price she is selling it or is she selling it at a fraction of the price?

Also for the +1 cold iron sling bullets. Does the bullets give a +1 to attack roll and damage for the sling?

I never read any horror genre books before. Do you recommend any classic or modern horror books?

Any hints as to who the first demon lord is? And yay for Amber E. Scott! I loved Secrets of Xen'drik!
